"Seven Orifices Bleeding!" Lai Zhuge stated through gritted teeth, his tone filled with hatred and a deep sense of powerlessness.

Seven Orifices Bleeding? The answer left Qin Fan bewildered.

Before he could ask about his confusion, Lai Zhuge continued, "It’s said that the moment they got close to the Demon Dragon aura, a sudden burst of it surged into their seven orifices. They were dead in less than three seconds. Even worse, their souls were devoured, completely robbing them of their chance for reincarnation! It was tragic, utterly tragic!"

"And if I told you that this Demon Dragon aura was deliberately released by someone for their own selfish gain, would you believe me?" Qin Fan replied gravely.

"Master Qin, are you telling the truth?" Lai Zhuge’s eyes widened to their absolute limit. His breathing became erratic, and his words came in frantic, hurried gasps, twisting his features with rage.

This was the very picture of extreme anger. The Masters behind him heard this as well. They all clenched their fists, their faces twisting into ferocious snarls.

"I’m almost certain of it. What’s more, I believe our culprit will soon disperse this Demon Dragon aura even further to carry out a brutal harvest of souls. I can’t guess their ultimate goal just yet, but the answer should be revealed soon enough!" Qin Fan said with a chilling, sinister smile.

"Master Qin, who is this person you’re talking about?" one of the Masters blurted out, stepping forward before Lai Zhuge could respond.

"I don’t know, but I expect we’ll find out soon. Don’t be anxious. For now, all we have to do is watch the show. We’ll make our entrance after that rabble from Xiangjiang marches to their doom. There’s no rush. This drama is about to get exciting!" Qin Fan said, making no effort to hide the schadenfreude in his wicked grin.

He had no compassionate delusions about saving those moths from flying into the flame. In fact, when it came to the arrogant and condescending lot from Xiangjiang, he could hardly wait for the curtain to rise on their total annihilation.

"Master Qin, are we just going to watch them die?" Lai Zhuge asked, raising an eyebrow with a hint of compassion in his voice.

"Did you already forget how they treated you? Don’t deny it. No matter how prestigious you are in Huaxia, those sons of bitches in Xiangjiang have never given you an ounce of respect! To put it bluntly, they summoned you here to be cannon fodder and test the waters. Do you believe me? Otherwise, after a group of Huaxia Masters died, why would their first thought be to call on you again? That rabble has some skill, so why hasn’t a single one of them died yet? Isn’t the answer obvious? So don’t pity them. It would just make you look pathetic," Qin Fan said, shaking his head with a mocking laugh.

Why hasn’t a single one of them died yet? Isn’t the answer obvious?

His words plunged Lai Zhuge and the others into deep thought. As they contemplated his question, their expressions became incredibly complicated—a mixture of annoyance, indignation, and shame.

"Alright, all of you can go. Just get ready to enjoy the show. It won’t be long before those moths start diving into the fire!" Without giving the Masters a chance to speak, Qin Fan once again dismissed them.

At his words, the group dropped their pretenses, Lai Zhuge included.

"Very well, we’ll take our leave. We await your orders, Master Qin! Farewell!" With that, Lai Zhuge turned and strode out of the suite. The other Masters followed suit, bidding their farewells one by one.

Soon, Qin Fan was the only one left in the spacious luxury suite.

Taking a deep breath, Qin Fan remained by the floor-to-ceiling window and continued to spread his Divine Sense, blanketing the area around Gufeng Ridge. His intuition told him that without the masters from Jiangzhou to lead the charge, the Xiangjiang group wouldn’t be able to restrain themselves and would surely risk a desperate strike. After all, it was painfully obvious that their time was running out.

Sure enough, he didn’t have to wait long before his Divine Sense picked up a disturbance. Through it, he saw dozens of cars pulling up to the foot of Gufeng Ridge. After stopping, dozens of men stepped out, all clad in matching yellow robes emblazoned with talismans. Even Zhou Shaofeng, who had been wearing a suit and a golden tie in the conference room, had changed into a yellow robe threaded with gold.

"Master Zhou!"

"Master Zhou!"

"Master Zhou!"

Holding various Magic Artifacts, the Xiangjiang Masters immediately surrounded Zhou Shaofeng, their voices grave.

"Mm," Zhou Shaofeng acknowledged with a slight nod, his expression grim. "The warning from those poor bastards from Jiangzhou is clear. We absolutely cannot let the Demon Dragon aura enter our seven orifices. Come, let’s take full precautions before we head up!"

With that, Zhou Shaofeng produced a handful of Black Glutinous Rice from a pocket in his robe. He then bit his index finger and dripped the Fingertip Blood onto the rice in his palm. Next, he began to rapidly chant a series of spells, stirring the rice with his bleeding finger.

SIZZLE—

After a few moments, the Black Glutinous Rice in his hand began to levitate eerily.

His stirring finger paused as he uttered a low command, "Protect the seven orifices, go!"

In an instant, the bloodstained grains of rice shot out without warning, flying with pinpoint accuracy to seal all seven of his orifices.

Once his orifices were sealed, Zhou Shaofeng commanded again, this time using ventriloquism, "Heavenly Eye, open!" He then pressed the same finger he had bled against the spot between his eyebrows.

SWISH—!

With an almost imperceptible sound, a faint red light began to glow from his glabella. The Heavenly Eye was now active.

"Time is short, hurry!" he urged, again with ventriloquism.

The masters who had witnessed the process no longer hesitated. Responding in unison, they all began to replicate Zhou Shaofeng’s actions. Instantly, an extremely bizarre scene unfolded. Dozens of men stood with their seven orifices sealed by blood-soaked Black Glutinous Rice, a small red light glowing uniformly from each of their foreheads.

If an ordinary person were to see this, they would undoubtedly be scared out of their wits.

"Let’s go!"

The ventriloquized voice sounded once more. With the chilling finality of a hero marching to his doom, Zhou Shaofeng led the way, his Heavenly Eye clearing a path as he started up the mountain trail on Gufeng Ridge. Behind him, a mighty procession of masters in yellow robes followed closely. It looked like a classic scene straight out of an exorcism movie.

Back in the penthouse suite of the Four Seasons Hotel, a wide grin spread across Qin Fan’s face. "They’re here," he chuckled to himself. "The show’s starting. I just hope you don’t run away when the time comes."

Meanwhile, in other hotel rooms, the group led by Lai Zhuge was also staring intently at Gufeng Ridge, their hearts reeling in shock at Qin Fan’s uncanny foresight.
