The rise of the pervert primordial

Despite the treasure girl thinking the previous, she couldn’t help but smile at the cares she was receiving from her boyfriend.

"Here", said Aster as he cut a piece of boar meat to then offer it to Camila, who after a second of hesitation munched on the meat, only for her eyes to cutely sparkle as she thought.

’Am I imagining it or does the food taste even better than normal?’, wondered the treasure girl.

"Is it tasty?", asked Aster to which Camila nodded.

"Yes, did you give new cooking ingredients to miss Sarina for today’s lunch as well?", said the treasure girl, which resulted in Sarina softly giggling at her.

"Mm?", Camila looked at the blond motherly roc girl who was covering her lower face as she giggled at her.

"What is...", but just as she was about to ask what was going on, she was interrupted by Alice who softly snorted as she tapped the ground with her tail.

"Humph, of course food tastes way better, you are being tended to by the Aster you love so much, so that’s normal", she said with clear jealousy in her voice.

’B-But I had already done this kind of thing a few times with Aster before... but I wasn’t sitting on his lap!’, inwardly thought Camila.

"Alice is right, I didn’t change anything for lunch, in fact I used less oil and salt because we splurged a bit yesterday, so that improvement in taste is because of the person with whom you are sharing your meal, not the food itself", said Sarina who had recomposed herself after laughing at the treasure girl earlier.

This actually has a proper reason which originates in brain chemistry, thoughts of love and happiness stimulate the brain’s anterior cingulate cortex which results in reward expectancy and changes how flavors are perceived, in simple words being a maiden in love makes food taste better when you are with your lover.

Now, Camila already noticed that when she was with Aster food tasted better, but this was on another level, and there are two reasons for that, first and formal it’s because she was sitting on his lap, essentially, she was in Aster’s embrace and that’s as intimate as Camila had gotten with him so far, so it was the first time she ate while enjoying this level of closeness.

And second, it was the Wolfstein’s lineage, as you already noticed, Camila is too shy when it comes to romance, to a certain extent it’s normal, while she wasn’t a sheltered young miss, had gone out of her planet of origin and was aware of Isaac’s intentions towards her, she never felt romantic love until recently so this was a completely new experience for her.

However, it is also true that she was a bit too much of a shy girl and there is a reason for it, she wasn’t raised as one and didn’t consider herself one, but she is a Wolfstein princess, as she is a direct descendant with the purest lineage of one of the two main branches of said family, the same applies to Aster for the other main branch.

They were deemed to be the best hope of revival of the Wolfstein’s lineage which is why Camila got that inheritance, she is their last princess in a sense because though there are other Wolfstein family members alive they are from side branches whose lineage has thinned too much, so, the Wolfstein ancestors of course took it into their hands to help ensure her future, and thus Camila and Aster were supposed to be attracted to each other.

But those old fellows didn’t take into account that Aster who received the purest of the Wolfstein lineage from one of their main branches, would casually mix it with other lineages to create something different, which directly invalidated their arrangements on his side.

And then, the resulting lineage which integrated the Drage one, the Wolfstein one and the Paragon body, is one that even dormant absolutely doesn’t tolerate a "provocation" of any type and retaliates in kind, that being said the other party was Camila and since Aster of course didn’t want to harm her, the same applied to his lineage.

So, the only thing targeted was the arrangement on her side, the attraction caused by her lineage didn’t disappear because that’s beneficial to them, it’s resonance and helps their lineages grow, but to even things out she became "sensitive" towards Aster and that’s the origin of that extra bit of shyness.

And why is all the previous being brought up now you wonder, well, if everything remained the same, she should be dying out of embarrassment by being made to sit up on Aster’s lap and fed personally by him, in public, but she was instead enjoying it.

The Wolfstein ancestors sure wanted their family to prosper, but they weren’t pieces of trash, the attraction caused by their lineage was supposed to be a bridge between the two deemed worthy of their inheritance, not brainwashing, it was still considered meddling but it wasn’t done with malice in mind, the key point here is that the two main branches needed each other to continue growing, so the attraction arrangement would diminish once both parties were judged to be... inseparable and when they had grown enough to learn about the previously mentioned trait.

Camila was already inseparable from Aster since she accepted to become his lover a decision which she took completely unaffected by the arrangement, so the only thing she was missing was reaching the initial level of growth needed for the arrangement to diminish significantly, and she achieved that just yesterday, with the arrangement diminishing so did the extra bit of shyness that was used to balance things out.

And in case you forgot, there was something important which happened to the treasure girl yesterday as well, she... triggered her unique mission for the profession type manual.

"You earned it, so let me spoil my girlfriend as much as she deserves it", jokingly said Aster which again should have made Camila run away like a scared rabbit under these circumstances, but she instead blushed and lowered her gaze a bit as she nodded.

"Mm, I’ll be in your care then", said the treasure girl as she relaxed her body and accommodated on Aster’s lap to be as comfortable as possible, while she was fed by Aster, she even showed her face to him so that Aster could wipe the sauce of the meat from the corner of her mouth, something not even Kana had done before.

’Agh, why didn’t I think about that before!’, inwardly screamed Alice, she nearly snapped her fork by accident there.

’She is not doing it on purpose, but is naturally good at taking advantage of a chance, which is even more dangerous’, thought Sarina who kept a calm front as she drank a bit of water.

’I thought she wasn’t a threat because she is not clingy like Alice, but she turned out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing’, thought Aria who reached a similar conclusion to Sarina.

"I’ll give you another "reward" when you manage to manifest your lineage trait", whispered Aster at Camila as he stroked her pretty auburn hair which made the treasure girl blush.

"Please don’t stare too much...", mumbled Camila whose cheeks had gotten redder as she felt those three’s gazes converge on her at the same time as Aster spoke earlier, they of course heard him, she was still the cutely shy Camila after all.

"Mm~", with the difference that she could now openly enjoy this level of intimacy, as she smiling while nodding at Aster suggested.

"Humph, if you want to play with a tail, I’m right here you know...", mumbled Alice out of jealousy, she also had a point, the Wolfstein lineage inheritance took the shape of a wolf’s tattoo on her upper back, so Camila’s trait would most likely be related to wolves as well.

’On the other hand, being "ignored" makes it even better when it is my time to play~’, thought Alice, Aster could easily see through her, she is the type that wants him all to herself, yes, but she also enjoys other types of attention, like being left for the end, especially when she really wants to try something, like having Aster play with her tail.

And so, after Alice had angered and contented herself in a matter of seconds the lunch continued in peace and soon everyone had their fill and after resting for a moment started leaving to continue with their own things.

Among which, the most notorious was poor Camila who was dragged away by both Eris and Mylene, those two were in a good mood and also needed someone to vent so of course they were planning to tease the hell out of their third bestie.

While ignoring Camila’s "save me" gaze, Aster turned towards the pair of little girls who earlier behaved good and didn’t interrupt Camila’s time, even though his lap is their usual seat.

"Earlier I heard something interesting, it seems like a pair of good girls gained a "new" sister?", said Aster to Kana and Espi who exchanged gazes to then smile.

"Mm, it happened earlier when we were training with sister Alice, now we are going to train with sister Aria too, come with us big brother~", said the little girl.

"Hisss~", to which the little wyrm added something along the lines of "Yeah, come play with us Aster~", as she jumped to then land her upper body on top of Aster’s shoulder.

’Oh, so the four of them will be together, I guess that simplifies things a bit’, thought Aster as he petted the little wyrm, he was planning to visit the dragon and ice princess pair later, but a "buy one and get one for free" event suddenly presented itself for him.

"Sure, I was worried that your "new" sister was about to go on a rampage after not getting her usual seat today", jokingly said Aster.

The "new" sister he was talking about was naturally Alice, who in exchange for those two helping her with training for her manual’s mission, agreed to treat them "better".

"Looks like being a good sister to that little roc girl does come with its perks too, don’t you think so, ice princess?", said Alice who was about to leave towards the training area with a downcast expression, only to listen to the previous development which in other words meant that she was getting some Aster time earlier than expected.

"Don’t lump me in with you, I was not shameless enough to treat little Kana bad out of jealousy to begin with", said Aria to which the wild dragon princess smirked as she added.

"Heh, then you don’t want Aster’s attention since it’s a reward for the improvement in our relationship, perfect more fun for me~".

"Dream on!", exclaimed Aria, even before they had reached the training area, those two were all fired up already.

"In a sense, I’m glad that sister Alice doesn’t get along as well with me as she does with sister Aria...", mumbled Kana.

"Hiss", to which the little wyrm nodded in agreement, with Alice it was amusing that she wanted to fight with both those she disliked and those she liked as well, for others she was indifferent instead, of course the kind of "fighting" between one and the other was quite different too as you can see that with Aria is mostly verbal fighting besides when they have something important to settle, like turn order for dates for example.

Once they arrived at the training area Aster was not surprised to find a disaster zone, similar to the one he saw yesterday, toppled trees, foot print marks on the ground as well as concentrated small cracks caused by arrows designed for blunt damage instead of piercing one.

"Are you two really fine to continue with such an intense training level?", asked Aster to the pair of little wyrm and little girl, they clearly trained for quite a long time before lunch so it wouldn’t be strange if they were tired.

"Humph, why did he only ask those two little girls, what about me", said the wild dragon princess which made Aria sigh.

"Because you were already a monster in terms of stamina only second to Aster, Mira and myself, but now that you have that tail, you are equal to us and only second to Aster himself with the difference that you need way more food than either of us to maintain yourself", said the ice princess.

She was right, Alice is not only a secondary body path cultivator but a dragon lineage owner whose focus is physical strength, even in a normal mortal state, her stamina was no joke, and this was further enhanced now that she is in in dragon mortal state courtesy of her tail coming out to play.

The difference between her and Aster is that Alice doesn’t produce vitality with every cell of her body like he does, so to maintain her stamina she requires large amounts of nutrients, but that’s normal, the focus of her lineage is not resilience and endurance like Aster’s one, but combat instead, even Mira whose ligress lineage is equally fierce and attack oriented has a much more balanced build than Alice, like Aster stated she is quite a handful of a dragon princess.

"Exactly, I highly doubt you were tired before lunch to begin with, but after eating you are ready to continue for hours without any problem, but Kana and Espi are not the same", said Aster to then add.

"Which is why I have a little something for them to recover some "energy", right here", Aster looked into his pocket and then took out a couple of coin sized brown shiny spheres, which made Kana and Espi’s eyes sparkle, those were candies made by Mylene which he kept as a treat for those two, the pink-haired girl didn’t make many of those but Aster isn’t a fan of sweet things, so he kept them for someone that would really enjoy them instead.

"Thanks big brother~".

"Hisss~".

Both the little girl and the little wyrm happily accepted a candy each and immediately tossed them into their mouths, it didn’t escape their eyes that Aster’s pockets still looked bumpy meaning that there should be more from which those candies came from.

"Those two candies were a little treat from me, you were really good girls sharing your seat with Camila, if you want more, you’ll have to show me how much you have progressed with the help of your new sister", said Aster ignoring the puppy eyes of the little girl and the little wyrm.

"That sounds fair, but Is there no "dessert" for me?", said the dragon princess as she licked her lips, her eyes weren’t aiming at Aster’s pockets though, but to another area of his pants.

"Dear heavens, have some self-control", mumbled Aria to which Alice smirked in response.

"My, for someone that calls me shameless at every given chance you have quite the dirty mind yourself, I only wanted to sit on Aster’s lap and have my tail caressed by him as a reward~", said the wild dragon princess, which made Aria’s eyebrow twitch at the "I’ve got you" gaze she was being given by Alice.

"Ahem, if you get along nicely with Kana and Espi, I’ll give you a treat too, of course the same applies to Aria", said Aster before those two got too immersed in their daily bickering, otherwise there would not be space for Kana and Espi to participate in the spar that was coming, and that sealed the deal.

"Crack!", Alice whose tail’s scales went from being soft and cuddly to tough and heavy, smacked her tail against the ground due to excitement, leaving behind a small crater due to the impact, that being said she didn’t shred the ground like it would happen if the borders of her scales had become sharp like they are supposed to.

"Look, now my tail won’t rip them to shreds even if I were to "accidentally" hit them too hard, I’m such a good sister right~", said Alice as she showed off the improved control she had attained over her tail’s state after training with those two yesterday.

Kana got angry because Alice ripped her clothes and nearly cracked one of Espi’s scales with her tail, so she told her that if she kept bullying them, they won’t play with her anymore, and this was the result, the wild dragon princess actually learned how to restrain herself... somewhat as Kana’s next words suggested.

"Espi says that sister Alice’s tail is heavier than normal that way though", Alice’s smile stiffened a bit, she couldn’t help it, her tail only went from full killing mode to full crippling mode, well, it was indeed good to train with allies, but the result with enemies would be similar if not worse, after all it would be the same as being cut with a sword that has not been sharpened.

"What kind of sister celebrates being able to get more violent with her juniors and expects a reward for that", said Aria as she directly grabbed her training wood equipment while Kana walked to the side to then get ahold of her bow, Alice put on her training gauntlets which were not reinforced on the front to Aster’s surprise but on the palm area similar to the ones given to Fawn earlier.

As for the little wyrm she had long disappeared from plain view and slid away from Aster’s shoulder at some point, this was training to benefit everyone, not only Alice after all.

"Humph, grit your teeth ice princess~", said Alice as she charged at Aria while closing her right hand to form a fist.

’I see, to that’s why she is using defensive type gloves instead’, thought Aster.

"Thud!", a loud dull sound reached his ears as Aria crossed her arms in front of her to take Alice’s punch head on, which literally made her grit her teeth, now of course the ice princess was forced backwards, more than a dozen of meters actually and this was while she had braced herself for the impact and Alice wasn’t using gloves to increase her output but just to protect her hands, because Aria is in no way close to Alice in terms of physical strength or defense.

Even after having started training her body with Aster’s help, in terms of pure physique she is probably among the weakest in the camp, her constitution was not meant to be used that way after all, however just like how it is her bones from which her constitution originates, the foundation of her body is surprisingly strong.

"Clack!", not even a second after Alice’s punch had exhausted its momentum after forcing Aria to retreat, the wild dragon princess used her left hand which she had opened to form a "claw" to stop Aria’s training sword in cold.

"Heh, your recovery has gotten faster, the mark of the impact was still there when you swung your sword, not bad", said Alice as she looked at Aria’s forearms where there used to be a reddened spot on her pale skin until a second ago.

That was the focus of this sparring for Aria apparently, she had to obtain a much more precise and stronger control over her recovery ability, which is why she didn’t use neither of the training equipment to deviate Alice’s attacks like she would usually do but instead took the punch head on.

"I would be glad if you didn’t aim at my face as soon as we start though", said the ice princess to which Alice giggled.

"It’s only motivation, I’m a good sister now, remember~".
