The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent (WN)

Behind the Scenes 03-01 Dark Clouds (Part I)

"This way, sir."

Deep in the royal palace, in the king's office, Air Hart Hawk, the court magic division division and deputy division chief, offered a tray with a black bilload strewn in front of the king. Placed on the tray are diamonds larger than 1 cm in size. Late, Sai grants the effect of Invalid Condition, Increased Magic Resistance, and Increased Physical Defense. The throat of the Chancellor, standing next to the King and not always putting his emotions on the table, snarls at the magically endowed nucleus placed in front of him.

It is no wonder that the Prime Minister, who has a good number of skills, inadvertently put his true intentions on the table. The nucleus created by Sai is a substitute that can only be obtained by exhumation from the depths of ancient ruins, if it is inherent, or by the crusade of demons. In the Crusade of Demons, rarely after defeating a demon do tools that have been granted magic come out of the demon, and good things come out in proportion to the strength of the demon. And if it's an object that has a similar effect to the nucleus made by Sai, it doesn't come out unless it's from a level of demon that requires all the Knights for a single crusade. True, it is a substitute for the Epic. In fact, a few objects with similar effects have become national treasures. Of course, it is not collected in these decades, but over the centuries, and it is also a substitute for the fact that only a few points were found over all those years. The nuclei placed in front of the King and the Chancellor were such substitutes that it was the first time for each other to see them other than those strictly stored in the treasure trove.

"I see. I can snort that you guys offered to pay."

After a brief silence, the king spat out with his sigh.

Airhardt and Johann, the director of the Institute of Medicinal Plants, contacted me about something I wanted to report confidentially, and there are only kings and prime ministers outside of the parties Airhardt and Johann in the place prepared. Even though I laid down the decree, because it was already after the magic grant in the court magic division, there was no denying the possibility that the magicians would leak the story, but people were still paid for it because it was better than not. What was communicated by the two of them was that Sai was able to create an Epic magic grant tool, something that people could also snort about, and it was a story that the two people at the top of the country couldn't help but be stunned. As the word epic says, the nucleus created by Sei is militarily very useful, and if it were to be sold, it would not be strange to have an astronomical price attached, and she, who produces these tools, was rightly a goose laying golden eggs. If this story goes public, I'm pretty sure there are people who go for Sei and make a leak.

This time, Airhardt, contacted by Johan for his interest in the magic, played to the King to examine her abilities on the magic on this occasion. Since the head of the division of the Court Magic Division, the only person whose status can be appraised, has remained asleep since [the rite of the Virgin Summons], it is not yet known whether she is the Virgin about Sai and Ira summoned in the rite. However, it was already more than six months after the ritual, and sometimes we don't know when the division chief will wake up, and there was talk among the ministers of examining the abilities of the Says at all. Sometimes she attended Royal School (Academy) about Ira, and she was confused by the class and had a multifaceted investigation into her abilities. Meanwhile, since Sei is based at the Institute of Medicinal Plants and carries out the same work as the researchers in general, the investigation into his abilities was not progressing as late as possible. Among other things, there was the matter immediately after the summons, and as for the royal palace side, unable to leave strongly against Sei, this time her spontaneous offer was a ship on the crossing. The king accepted the playoffs of Airhardt and was to examine Sei's abilities regarding magic as he made his magic grant at the Court Magic Division a few days later.

This investigation revealed Sei's astonishing abilities.

At the Court Demon Division, some plans had been made in advance that day as to how the investigation of the Sai would be conducted. Depending on the effect in the Magic Grant, the attributes, levels, and amount of magic irradiated by the required worker's Magic Skill will vary, and if you attempt to grant a high effect, the level of Magic Skill and Magic Power required will also be proportionately higher. The relationship between the effect and the level of magic skills and amount of magic power required is, to some extent, evident from the track record accumulated so far. By using it to examine the attributes of the magic skills held by Sai and to increase the difficulty of the effects she gradually grants, she was trying to gauge what the level of magic skills she possessed was. If possible, I was trying to get the grant to run out of magic and then measure the MP maximum from the amount of MP potion used. Of course, since Sei was summoned in the [Rite of the Virgin Summons], he was likely to retain the skills of Holy Attribute Magic, so he was initially induced to grant a support system that presupposed Holy Attribute Magic. Along the way, unexpected happenings led Airhardt to respond to Sai, but the plan was able to proceed as planned.

Magic grant effects become more difficult in order of mitigation, resistance, and deactivation. Although the level of magic skills is generally regarded as the highest at 10 levels, there have been many people at three levels, one or two in history and even those who place their place in the Court Magic Division. While the effect of mitigation can be granted if there is a minimum sacred attribute magic skill, the effect of resistance requires a minimum of three levels, and a minimum of five levels to reach the effect of deactivation. Since the effect that Sai initially intended to grant was the annulment of the highest degree of difficulty, the corresponding mage recommended that the effect of the easiest derogation be granted. The first time was unsuccessful and the happening that the material would crack because it changed the effect that Sai grants just before, but the second time it succeeded in granting the effect of a magical resistance rise. Since the effect of resistance and defensive ascent is equivalent to the granting of a resistance system, it was established at this point that there are at least three levels of magic skills of Sei. The other candidate, Ira, was also now six months after the summons, when the level of sacred attribute magic was four levels beyond the court mage, but when he began learning magic at the Royal School, he finally handled one level of sacred attribute magic. It's not hard to imagine how surprised the sorcerers were that Sei, who should never have had a magic lecture, is suddenly at three levels.

To further investigate, Airhardt instructed Sai to grant various effects. In response to Airhardt's very clerical instructions, she was chilling around as to when Sei would be in a bad mood, but fortunately she did so solemnly and as instructed, without offending her mood. Although the level of magic skills required for the effects of a mitigation system is at least one level, even the same mitigation system may require more levels depending on the content. For example, if it is the effect of reducing toxicity, it can be granted from one level, but if it is the effect of reducing paralysis, it cannot be granted without more than two levels. Using it, Airhardt tried to find out Sai's level of detailed magic skills. Various effects were conferred in turn, gradually increasing the difficulty, but in the end Sei also succeeds lightly in conferring invalidity systems that require more than five levels.

So Airhardt grew a little greedy as a magic researcher. The instruction was followed by the granting of two or more effects on one material, that only historical figures had ever succeeded. The feeling that this would not be possible for a boulder and possibly half, although it was the effect of the easiest abatement system, this made Sai succeed again lightly. When this happened, there was also a great deal of attention around how successful Sei would be. The sorcerers, who were supposed to be watching him sneak up, all seemed to be watching Sei's work intensively at that time. Just after putting in a break, Airhardt gave the last instruction because the question arose as to how long it would last from Sai. That was an impossible instruction to succeed. State anomaly disabled, magic attack disabled, physical attack disabled. Instruction was given to create a suspicious substitute for the ability to exist in the world, rather than to grant two or three invalid systems of the highest degree of difficulty that no one had ever been able to achieve. It was not possible to use the sai, but instead it was presented as a legendary substitute: invalid state anomaly, increased magic resistance, and increased physical defense. And, as declared, Sei succeeded in granting it.

Thus, it came to pass that the level of Sai's sacred attribute magic skills would probably be the top 10. It's not actually on that level, but it wasn't until more later that Airhardt and the people of the Royal Palace found out about it.
