Create potions that are more effective than advanced HP potions.

This is my research assignment.

I chose this challenge because, biased, my level of pharmaceutical skills stopped rising in advanced HP potions.

I went to the Royal Palace library to find time for research, but I couldn't find a clue inside, and my progress was stagnant.

In the meantime, I saw a glimmer of light.

I got advice from an unexpected person.

Whoever it is, it's the division leader.

One day, the division leader I met in the forbidden library told me.

All the creatures of this world, whatever the amount, say they retain their magic power.

It's my first ear.

This seems not to be very widely known because the division chief noticed it in the course of his research.

From there, you got advice to pay attention to the magic of herbs to improve potion performance.

Generally, it is said that potion increases the potency that the herb has because of the influence of the magic poured during the creation process.

The division chief also thought that the performance of the potion I make was five increments compared to what others have created because of the magic of this creation process.

And I was told that if I could bring this magic to the herb, the potion would perform even better.

When I got back to the lab, I talked to the researchers.

There were several people who knew that boulders or herbs retained their magic powers.

However, no one had ever thought about talking about keeping their magic in the herbs, and when I talked about the advice of the division chief, I was uniformly surprised.

You don't normally think it would be more effective if you let it have its own magic.

For that reason, no one had any idea how to give magic to the herb.

Well, if you don't know, I have no choice.

It's just a matter of trying things out.

"So, Jude, can you help me?

"All of a sudden. What am I supposed to do to help?

Jude, who laughs bitterly but tries to help me, is a good man, I think.

The first thing I checked was whether water containing magic could be produced.

Soak the cut flowers in colored water and the petals will be colored.

I was wondering if you could apply that and dip it in water containing magic.

However, I didn't know how to produce water containing magic, so I asked Jude, who seems likely to know.

Jude has a magical aptitude for water attributes.

Unfortunately, I didn't know.

I also tried that I might not be able to produce water containing magic with water attributes magic to try, but it didn't work.

Water Attributes When I produce water with magic, I've tried everything to see if I could use more magic than usual.

"I think it's a good idea, but in the first place, if Sei has to be able to produce water, but she makes it with water attribute magic, she can't, can she?

"You should think about it later."

That's what they said after I tried everything, so when I returned what I thought, I was stunned.

Jude is right, I can't use water attribute magic.

So it's useless to say that trying to generate it with water attribute magic, but as a first take, I thought maybe enough to give it a try.

I gave up on generating it with water attribute magic and tried to see if I could generate it the same way the next time I gave it magic.

I can magically impart it to the core minerals, so I wonder if it can even be water.

The result is a disastrous defeat.

Like when I did the magic grant, I didn't get the feeling that I could.

This is it.

I don't think I can do it.

"Nevertheless, magic in the water is novel."

"Really?"

"As far as I know, I've never seen anyone try to do that"

"Well, you don't know how to use magically granted water. If it wasn't necessary, no one would try."

Though I did say so, I recall that some of the games had holy water.

Was that for sure used when attacking undead demons?

The effect of not bringing demons in for a while was also to set the game up.

How to make holy water......, how was it?

Am I supposed to bless you?

I think I've heard that somewhere.

So, how do you do a blessing?

Grabbing the distilled water I put in the beaker, yeah, roaring, Jude sounded worried.

"What's going on?

"Um, think about how you do blessings."

"Blessings?

"Is there no holy water in this world?

"Holy water? Hmm, I've never heard of it"

How holy water never existed.

Then there may be no way of blessing.

Just in case, I checked with Jude, but I still didn't know.

Somehow, I felt it would be quicker to ask the division chief because we were going to be talking about a magical relationship.

Looking out, the sun is going down and it's getting dark at some point.

If I had just experimented with Jude, it would have been time.

Tomorrow would be better if I went to ask the division chief.

I decided to end today's experiment.

"Blessings, is it?

The next day, I asked the division chief during a magic lecture.

I simply asked him if he knew the magic of the sacred attribute of blessing, but he didn't even notice the division chief.

I thought maybe it was a different name and explained how it got there.

Speaking of holy water crap and it works on undead demons, it wouldn't be my fault the division chief's eyes glowed.

Then, just in the middle of the class, I talked about the concept of in-game magic in the world I was in.

"Blessings have an image that might also strengthen the body."

"Really? In the world where Sai was, blessings have many effects."

"The magic itself didn't exist, so it's a fantasy,"

"Still, it's an interesting concept inside. Here is the magic of physical strengthening, but there is no magic specific to undead demons."

"Can't magic defeat the absence of specialized magic?

"That's not why. There's just nothing specific about it, and I usually knock it down with fire attribute magic or something."

I talked that far, and you noticed something, and the division leader did his hand on his jaw and thought about it.

Seems like there's no magic called blessing, but did you come up with anything else?

"It's not just the undead, but magic exists that specializes in the annihilation of monsters."

"Is there such magic?"

"Yep. However, the magic is conveyed only by existence, and we don't know the details."

Turn off the grin that is always floating, watch the division chief speaking with a serious face, and accidentally gobble and throat.

Since only existence is communicated and details are unknown, I guess it's not the attribute magic I usually use.

When it comes to magic that isn't attribute magic, it only comes to mind about life magic, but there's no hiding life magic that's easier than attribute magic, is there?

So, is it magic of a completely different lineage?

"What kind of magic is that?

"It doesn't even have a name. But those who use that magic are on the record."

"That's..."

"It's a technique used by the Virgin."

I knew it.

Though I noticed it on the way.

But isn't it a problem that [the Virgin] doesn't have the details of the technique she uses left?

How did someone who later became a Virgin learn that magic?

"Didn't you record the details of the procedure?

"Yep. All that remains is a record of the effect of being able to destroy demons at very fast speeds."

"How did the Virgin of the past learn that technique?

"I haven't even figured it out."

Jesus.

In the end there was no further information, and after this the day ended, as usual, with a magic lecture.
