Chapter 1264: The City of Pleasure
The avatar had already expected this situation the moment he changed his energy into that of Avergis’ followers. Those temple members would consider him someone of a much higher rank than themselves.
Although he was still at Immortal Overlord Stage, the purity of his energy was something that, in their view, could only be possible if he possessed a cultivation stronger than the Immortal Realm.
He took advantage of the fact that there were groups from the higher heavens present in the second heaven so he could move freely. He even brought up one of their leaders to make his story more believable.
He knew all the names of the groups that Avergis had sent from the higher heavens, as they had been inside his domain in Su City. During the time he observed them, he learned all of their identities and all of their plans from the discussions they had among themselves.
Even if there were some who remained suspicious of him, just like one of the temple members earlier, they would not dare continue pressing him with questions for fear of offending him.
They could only swallow their suspicions and let him pass.
But, the problem would arise if someone from the groups of the higher heavens saw him and realized he was not among them. His infiltration would be compromised.
However, from the information he had gathered from those groups from the higher heavens, all of their members were in the Purple Lotus Sect’s domain. There were currently no members from the higher heavens in the Central Region of Heaven or any of its nearby domains.
Unless there was someone in this domain who recognized every member of the groups from the higher heavens, he could be said to be safe. However, he doubted that someone like that existed here, as those descending from the higher heavens were not always the same people.
He also doubted that anyone had the time to memorize hundreds of people who descended to the second heaven.
In conclusion, as long as no unknown variables appeared, the avatar thought he would be safe.
The avatar also decided to follow the line of people and not skip the inspections in each city until he arrived at his destination.
This was to create an alibi in case anyone somehow questioned his presence here. He had already told the first inspection post that he had come to check on the security, so whether he liked it or not, he had to do the same at the other inspection points so his identity would not be revealed too soon.

While the avatar tasked with traveling to the Central Region of Heaven still needed time to arrive at his destination, Aldrian’s other avatar, who had been tasked with going to the Remivas Family’s domain, had just arrived at the capital city of the Remivas Family’s realm, Rudraf City.
This domain was under the watch of the strongest force in the region, the Remivas Family. Just like any other domain, although there were many powers within it, the Remivas Family was responsible for maintaining order throughout the domain as the strongest force here.
Their words were the law here.
The avatar who had just arrived in this place remained inside his carriage as it moved toward one of the inns where he could stay for the night. The inn had already been prepared by members of the resistance group beforehand, so the avatar did not need to look for one himself.
It truly saved him time.
As the avatar continued looking out at the streets from inside the carriage, he saw various races here. However, he still could not find any elves. This made the avatar curious and wonder whether elves even existed in the second heaven.
He still had not asked anyone about this matter.
The avatar continued watching the streets as he passed an intersection on the right and saw something that made him raise an eyebrow.
At that brief moment, he caught sight of a street that looked different from any other road he had passed. Not long after, he passed another intersection with the same sight. Then another one. Then another. Then another.
He continued passing several junctions, and all of them shared the same style. He understood what kind of area those streets belonged to.
"Red district." The avatar thought.
What he saw were streets filled with people wearing inviting attire, whether they were men or women. The men wore clothing that showed off their muscles to attract women, while the women wore attire that would make many men instantly pounce on them.
Even though it was still daytime, those people were already working to invite customers into their brothels.
The existence of so many red districts in this city was also related to one of its titles, the City of Pleasure.
What other pleasure could this title refer to besides carnal pleasure?
The avatar continued traveling for another thirty minutes before finally arriving at his inn, the best inn in the city. The inn was also located near one of the roads that led into a red district.
Once he got down from the carriage, it immediately departed, as if the coachman already knew what he needed to do. At that moment, a young man approached the avatar with a smile.
"Sir, we have already prepared everything for you. Please follow me to the room we have prepared," the young man said through voice transmission.
The avatar nodded and followed the man into the inn. The inn building was no different from the luxurious inns found in many major cities throughout the second heaven.
A towering building that offered the best view and accommodations for anyone who wished to stay in the city.
The difference was that this inn was one of the properties owned by the resistance group. In this city, they possessed enough influence to operate openly.
The avatar was guided to his room, which was located on the highest floor. Before leaving him alone, the man who had led him there handed him an information crystal.
"Inside this crystal is all the information regarding the important people in this city, their behavior, and their activities. There is also information about all of our connections in this city. If Mister wishes to do something or begin your mission, I hope that Mister can inform our group through me using this."
The man then handed the avatar a communication artifact.
A normal communication artifact.
"It’s so we are not surprised by anything that Mister will do and can act accordingly. Or if Mister wants our help, we will do our best to assist."
The avatar nodded.
"Alright, thank you. I will inform you later about what I’m going to do. I will also need your help later."
The young man nodded. "We will be waiting, Mister."
He then left the avatar alone while the avatar remained in his room. He then focused on reviewing all the information stored inside the information crystal.
After learning everything contained within it, he took a deep breath and slowly released it. He truly felt bad for the fate of the two races that were also part of the resistance group here.
However, because of their fate, they had also become an important part of the information network.
They were succubus and incubus.
The avatar knew from the memories of his real body that the succubi and incubi of this universe in the second heaven were enslaved by the Remivas Family. This was information his real body had obtained from the succubus Alicia before killing her in the first heaven.
Aldrian decided to make this place one of his priorities to deal with.
The avatar decided that he would begin his mission as soon as possible.
But before that, he wanted to observe the condition of the city and inspect some of the places where he planned to carry out his mission. He could not use domain ability, so he could not simply observe everything the way his real body normally did.

The avatar left the inn and walked toward one of the red-light districts closest to it, where an entire street was filled with entertainment establishments.

Even though the sun still hung in the sky, the street was already crowded, and many people were already enjoying the services provided by these entertainment establishments.
All of the staff looked handsome or beautiful. They also appeared to be human.
However, the avatar knew that all of the staff working in the brothels and other entertainment establishments were actually succubi and incubi. They were the descendants of Lustvelle and Ferelis, the first succubus and incubus that Aldrian’s past life had known.
Since their descendants in the second heaven had been enslaved by the Remivas Family, they were forced to work in places such as these. Their value to the Remivas Family lay solely in the revenue generated through their bodies.
The Remivas Family had raised them to become professional entertainers, including prostitutes, benefiting both themselves and the customers who sought their services.
As races with an innate talent for dual cultivation, many people sought them out either for pleasure or to improve their cultivation. Even cultivators from outside the domain visited this place for that reason.
