Nice sunny afternoon.

Almark was walking alongside Morgan in the city of Nork.

Yesterday, at the late evening festival on the last day of the magic festival, Morgan said that he would go to eat some of the dishes he had eaten tomorrow, so Almark thought it would be just lunch time, but Morgan shook his head separately.

"Eat breakfast late tomorrow. I'm leaving the dorm after lunch."

So I'm walking around the city after noon and wondering if the sober winter sun would start to tilt.

"Morgan, I don't think there's anything I don't know because I'm a man like you, but just in case."

Almark said.

"A grocery store is usually closed once the lunch business is over. We have our own breaks, and we have to prepare for the evening. So I can go from this time."

"Yeah, it's okay."

Morgan nods.

"I know, Almark. The worries around here are like the worries I have about the way you swing your sword. [M] Just follow me."

With that confidence, Almark nodded, "Well, if Morgan says so.

"But you spend a lot of money."

Almark says what he thinks.

"Your father's a civilian, and you're not going to be so busy."

No way, I can't believe you sent me.

Morgan laughs.

"I've never been here before. Because we are poor, it is very difficult to serve."

I see. Then. "

Almark remembers Morgan buying a lot of food at a magic festival stall.

"There's so much money to buy food."

Almark seldom goes to the city on his own, and most of the pennies from the academy remain with him, but Morgan sometimes goes out to the city on weekdays to buy sweets as well as on holidays.

"Well, I don't buy anything other than food either."

Morgan says.

"Other kids buy clothes, books that aren't in the library, things like accessories if they're girls, you know, fortune-telling like Moonshadow Street, they spend money on that stuff."

That's what I'm talking about.

"I only spend money on food."

I see.

Almark nodded, but still had a strange feeling.

I know it's just food, but I think I bought too much.

"Sure, I've spent a little too much money lately."

Morgan laughed bitterly as if he had seen through Almark's thoughts.

The Magic Festival was huge after all. My wallet is almost empty. "

"Look, I knew it."

Almark raised his voice.

"Then I'll take care of it today. You should spend that precious money on sweets to eat in a dorm."

No, no, no.

Morgan waves in front of his face.

"Almark, I'm glad you're feeling this way, but you don't have to."

"Why not? 'Cause you don't have any money."

"The secret is to come to the city at this hour."

Morgan says so, walking with a nose song.

"I don't know."

Almark smiled.

"It's about you. There must be something going on."

Walk side-by-side next to Morgan.

Morgan stopped in front of a dining room saying, "Here we are."

It looks like the day is over and there are no customers inside.

"Morgan. I have to go into the store at this hour."

Almark frowned.

"The people at the shop make me look terrible. If you were a distracted father, the day would be over. What a yell."

"Yeah."

Morgan nods with a smile.

"I've been yelled at before."

As I said so, I gradually entered the store.

"Ah, Morgan. You're gonna get mad."

Almark followed him worried.

"Hello."

When Morgan called out to the back of the store, the owner of the store looked uneasy.

"Lunch is over, you'll see... oh, Morgan"

The yelling shopkeeper loosened his expression by looking at Morgan's face.

"I've been waiting."

That's what I'm going to do and invite you to the back of the shop.

As he nodded with a smile at Almark with a strange face, Morgan entered the kitchen without hesitation.

Almark also followed him through the back, and the shopkeeper brought a full of soup.

"This is it. I'm thinking of making it a new winter menu."

"It looks really delicious. It smells good."

Morgan said, and ate with a spoon.

"Yeah, it's delicious too."

I see.

Make the owner smile as relieved as possible.

"If that's what Morgan says."

"But a new winter menu means you eat it on a cold day."

Ah.

Well then, maybe we don't need the taste of this herb.

As Morgan pointed out, the shopkeeper opened his eyes.

"With this, I can't help but stand up for freshness. Maybe you should add some warmer ingredients or spices."

I see.

The shop owner nods as convinced.

"You're right. All right, let's put the root of the salad in the hidden flavor."

That might be good.

Then for a while, the owner and Morgan, whether they were two, tried and mistakenly, and eventually it seemed that they could go satisfactorily, so they shook hands with each other.

Thank you all the time, Morgan.

That said, let Morgan hold a coin.

"Sorry about that."

Yeah, thanks.

Morgan nods with a smile.

"I had fun, too. Okay, Almark. Let's go."

The two were escorted out by the smiling shopkeeper.

"Morgan, you..."

As Almark approached, Morgan pointed to the three shops next door.

Next up is that shop.

"Huh?

As she entered the shop, which was clearly not open, the female shopkeeper who looked annoying showed her face.

"I'm sorry, it's lunch time... oh, Morgan"

"Hello."

Morgan smiled.

At best, one or two confectioneries were small enough to be bought in one shop, but on that day Morgan went around eight shops and gave advice and tastings on the menu.

Morgan was very welcome wherever he went.

The owner of a store, for example, gently asked Almark,

"The menu that Morgan told me was good will always be popular. Master Morgan."

and whispered.

"Well,"

By the time I left the last store, the day was completely tilted.

"I've accumulated a lot of military funds."

That's why I'll show Almark the coins I've gathered all day.

"It's time for the store to open at night."

Morgan stretched out a lot, then looked up at the sky and smiled.

"Come on, Almark. Let's go to the shop we're looking for."

Are you still eating?

Almark rounded his eyes.

"You've been eating all day."

"Of course. Until now, I've been eating this to eat."

Morgan nods as a matter of course.

"Here we go."

"I knew it wouldn't work for you."

Almark twisted his neck with a bitter smile.

"I got hungry just watching. I wonder if I can still eat it."
