Galentr, king's capital of the Kingdom of Galais.

In the heart of this vibrant capital, which is also the largest city in the southern part of the continent, lies the immense Royal Castle, Galentore Castle, in the heart of the kingdom, surrounded by the luxurious mansions of the nobles with their territories all over the kingdom.

A certain aristocratic hall on the corner of it.

The man who seemed to be the master of the hall had left himself uncomfortably behind the back of the chair and had received reports from his men from earlier.

While his men reported the various cases, the man's eyes stared at the blurred void and he could not utter a word from his mouth.

I don't know if you're listening to the report or not, it's like I don't know, but my men are used to it already, and I keep reporting it faintly.

"Next, Sir Elmond."

A man reacted to the word for the first time.

"Talk."

There was no change in expression, but there was a slight light in my eyes.

"Looks like the work from before worked. Sir Elmond's daughter has moved to Miletos."

"Right. You're on schedule."

The man thinly pasted his smile on the vain expression.

"What about the mercenaries?

"We're already on our way to Miletos"

"... I would be somewhat wary of just getting there too. Wait a few days. Move it when your guard's loose."

"Yes, sir."

As my men left the room, the smile that was affixed to the man's face happened to disappear.

The man once again looked vain and kept staring into the void of nowhere.

Early in the morning, Almark and Morgen, aboard a boat from the port of Nork, descended into the city of Lelbuda on the opposite bank after a half-day sailing trip.

On Almark's back is his favorite long sword.

In Morgen's hands is a practicing wand that he has snuck out of the magic practice.

Though a relatively safe journey within the Kingdom of Galais, the two children don't know what they have.

It's not like there are no robbers or chasers at all.

Just in case, they decided to take something to demonstrate their abilities.

"I miss you."

Almark looked around the port of Lelbuda.

It wasn't until he got into school that he left Nork Island.

"Before I came to college, I worked in this harbor for a month to earn my fare."

"A month!?"

Morgen rounds his eyes.

"How can it take a month just to earn a fare?"

"At the time, I was a beggar and a child."

and Almark.

"I don't get a third of the adults wages, and where I live, what I eat, it was all subtracted. Working the whole day left little on hand."

Well, you're lucky you just hired me, without saying.

"We were probably poor, too."

Morgen shakes his head with admiration.

"Almark, you're struggling, too."

"I'm not. I'm not dying."

"No, that standard is strange."

The two stay put, go to the waiting area of the boarding carriage and board the carriage for the Wang du Garentor.

Though he saw a strange guest with two children wandering, when he received the fare, he said nothing more.

The carriage proceeded from one street to the next towards Galentre.

And it came to pass at noon, and the carriage was put to rest, and his horse was put to rest.

Then out of nowhere the merchants with baskets of food show up and start selling lunch to their passengers.

Morgen's belly, grunting, and they bought and ate each piece of bread that sandwiched meat that had just been baked in hot air.

Then again, the carriage runs out the street.

The carriage stopped when it passed through several villages and reached a relatively large city.

Lots of customers descend.

"That's as far as this city goes today. Come back tomorrow morning."

That's what your man calls you, and you both get off the carriage.

"Find a place to sleep today"

The two went to the square near the waiting area of the riding carriage and settled their hips under the large tree in that corner.

"The weather is nice, and it's Nojuku Day."

Nodding at Morgen's words.

They slept, eating the dried bread and dried fruit they had bought into the city of Norc for dinner, resting on the magic of a dubious insect repellent that Morgen had applied.

The next morning I pulled Morgen's hand from my sleeping eye and went to the waiting area, and the horse was already connected to the carriage and waiting to leave.

"Nebulos, I was just leaving you."

The man laughed niggardly.

"Ride fast. It's Galentore this afternoon."

The two of them nodded at the words of your lord, and boarded the carriage.
