"Lord Almark?"

Ward peels his eyes at the unexpected word of Almark.

"Wendy, I'll ride you. Make all the servants of this mansion with the art of change as much as possible. You can do it, can't you?

Wendy nods at Almark's call.

"Instead, I'll make your replacement first, too. The enemy is after you."

"I, later!

Wendy shakes her head.

"No! You first!

Almark can't just give in there either.

"I don't have time. Wendy, everyone's life depends on you!

Everybody's lives.

Almark thought it was a key word that could serve Wendy's strong will.

Almark's predictions met.

For a moment in Wendy's eyes, the light of reason dwells.

"... ok"

Wendy waves her wand and turns the vase into what she looks like.

"This will do! Next, Marcus!

Call the servant's name and change the chair to look just like that.

"Isha! Mel! Laigi!"

With tremendous speed, Wendy makes fake servants.

"And I don't believe it"

Morgen turns his flashing face to Almark.

"What the hell is going on? I wonder if we can take the time to make one small animal right now. Even Wendy did before vacation. Yet in such a flash, there are many adults... and I'm sure even a high-ranking man can't do this."

"Yeah."

Almark nods too.

Even to Dr. Illmis, can you do it?

From Wendy's body, magic springs up as if it were inexhaustible, just to be next door.

And Wendy manipulates that magic with tremendous mental power.

But she can't make a normal decision right now.

So I can't use more powerful or more efficient magic with that inexhaustible magic.

But then, it's important not to waste this magic.

That's why Almark rode Wendy.

"Morgen, listen to my operation."

Almark ears at Morgen.

Morgen hears it and turns his face bright blue.

"Oh, I can't do that, Almark!

"It's okay, you can do it!

By then, Wendy had finished making almost all of about 20 servants working in this mansion.

This speed, this accuracy. Incredible magic and spiritual power.

"Oh, already! Outside... I can't remember the guards"

Wendy says in a hurry.

It's amazing just to say that a human being as tall as Wendy remembered and was able to reproduce all the names and appearances of 20 servants.

I can see how good Wendy's relationship with the servants is.

In addition, Wendy is trying to build guards that she doesn't usually deal with.

But that was dangerous.

The guards, who would be desperately stopping the mercenaries outside right now, unfortunately but most probably won't help.

If the person you were supposed to have slashed comes out again, your enemies will always be suspicious, too.

Almark thought so, but he can't talk about it.

At that time, the magical running stopped unexpectedly.

Almark meets Morgen and his face all the time.

Feeling Wendy's magic rapidly dwindle, Almark rushed over to Wendy.

"Wendy!"

Hold Wendy slowly about to fall.

In Almark's arms, Wendy made it clear to the servant divisions she made, even though it clouded her consciousness.

"Please. Take this hall... protect everyone"

"Lady!"

"Ward, Almark, and Morgen.... Everybody... run"

That's all I said at the end, Wendy lost consciousness.

With reason back for the last moment, our concern brought a quiet emotion to Almark.

Thank you, Wendy. I will protect you. [M]

Almark deposits Wendy's body with Ward, who has lost his mind.

"Please evacuate all servants to the fourth floor. I need to talk to you about Wendy."

"Lord Almark, you are"

"I'll stop with them"

Almark showed with his hands the fakes of Wendy's made servants.

"Oh, my God, we're magicians. Don't worry, there are as many ways to escape as you can."

Morgen finds himself included in what Almark calls "us," and looks pitiful.

"Hurry up. It's all of you who protect Wendy to the end. We don't have much time."

Downstairs, through the front door, the sound of knocking on an axe or something.

It will be only a matter of time before it is broken.

"Leave it to us. Come on!!"

Ward looks straight into Almark's eyes.

"... Lord Almark, you seem to see something that we do not see."

That's what I said, I nodded.

"Once again, this thank you is a must. Let's go, fourth floor! Carry the lady!

Ward takes the servants up to the fourth floor.

Later all that was left was the fake of the servants, including Ward, and the fake of Wendy, who looks real but somewhere different because Wendy made it cluttered, and then Morgen's real.

"Guys, you know the meaning of the last word Wendy said."

When Almark spoke, the servants nodded and all went downstairs.

Their appearance remains intact until the magic that Wendy poured on them is exhausted. Even if they try to kill me.

"All right, Morgen. Let's get into position, too."

"Almark, are you sure you're okay?

Morgen makes a pitiful noise, but Almark makes him snort forcefully.

"It's okay. I can protect you in front of the door. If you let me in, there's definitely only one."

"You can trust me!?"

"I believe in Morgen. Trust me, too."

"Well, I believe in you, but I don't really believe in myself."

"Then believe in the magic you learned at the academy."

"Ugh, I wonder if I can..."

Afterwards, it became a development as Almark expected.

Mercenaries who had broken into the mansion slaughtered the fakes of servants flocking on the first and second floors.

And I came up to the third floor completely alarmed, thinking I had killed them all.

Almark ambushed there.

Thanks to Wendy's fakes for making it, it was a complete surprise.

Almark, who happened to slaughter the three, led them as they fought, up to the door of Wendy's room, so that the mercenaries wouldn't go to the fourth floor by mistake.

And so, although the rendezvous captain Gizarte broke through the door, Morgen took the courage to blow it out the window as planned.

"Without Wendy's art of that change,"

Almark told Ward.

"I wouldn't have been able to deal with six mercenaries at the top."

Only three people can deal with Almark at once.

The remaining mercenaries will move freely. There was plenty of danger of Wendy and the others going up to the fourth floor.

That was the first slaughter of the three, which made the battlefield all in our favor at once.

"Really... thanks to Wendy"

Ward stared silently at Almark, saying so, but eventually opened his mouth.

"Lord Almark, are you..., no, neither are you"

Morgen looks up and sees Ward.

"Mercenaries of the North."
