The next day, the class began.

Almark shouted his chest when he told Irmis, who he hadn't seen in a long time, to come to the magic practice field because he would start teaching magic after school today.

After regular classes, Almark tried to leave the classroom while suppressing his feelings to do so, but class commissioner Wallis stood in front of everyone to block it.

"Guys, listen up for a second"

Wallis says so in a voice that often passes, looking around the whole class.

"We have to decide on the players for the next martial arts tournament. Five each in two games, for a total of 10. Eight men and two women."

The class gets noisy at the same time.

This class consists of a total of 16 men and 6 women. Almost all boys have to leave.

"There are only two men's alternates."

Morgen is blurry.

"Me and one more person."

"Why am I an alternate?"

Nelson says.

"In the meantime, Wallis and Almark are definite, right? And then there's torque and..."

Wallis raises his left hand so as to block that Nelson word.

"Sorry, I'm sorry, but I can't leave."

To that unexpected word, the class quiets back.

"I hurt my right arm while I was on vacation."

When Wallis rolled up his right arm sleeve with that said, the bandage was painfully wrapped around him.

"Uh, you're lying! You can't leave Wallis, you're number one in our class."

Nelson gives a voice of disappointment.

"Wallis."

Torque also turns a hard gaze on Wallis.

"You can win even one arm. Get in the game."

"No, I can't"

Wallis refuses without a scratch.

"Regardless of the left, I injured my right arm. Unfortunately."

I'm not willing to force you here, Wallis said.

"I got Dr. Feer's permission."

There is no change in the soft look on your neat, righteous face.

Torque, chirping, tongue-in-class vibes.

Without such air in mind, Wallis continues.

"The women's representatives are Leila and Wendy. Any objections?"

There can be no objection to anyone. It was clear to everyone's eyes that those two strengths were jumping through in the women.

Wallis speaks to Wendy after taking a moment to make sure no one disagrees with her.

"Wendy, listen."

"Yeah."

Wendy nods.

"What about Layla?"

"I don't want to."

Layla responds instantly and everyone sees her.

Layla looked out the window looking bored.

"Do you deserve to let people get away with it? Wallis."

"Then I don't mind."

Wallis nods without changing his expression.

"You should go tell Dr. Feea yourself. If there's a good reason not to answer."

To that word, Leila looks at Wallis bitterly.

"... I'm leaving."

"It's settled."

Wallis grinned.

"The woman has decided. And then there's the boys."

Then, Wallis calls the two names.

"Torque. Almark"

To the two people who raised their faces, Wallis says.

"You are the leaders. Torque versus one pair, Almark versus three pairs. Let's have six men's names in each order, all of them."

"I'm Galain and Deg for now."

Torque names his surroundings.

"In turn, I told you. Either way."

Wallis says it's a shame.

Wallis, I don't mind.

said Almark.

"I'll have Nelson."

Oops, Nelson replies with pleasure.

"Right. Then pick another one. Because I've already chosen two torques."

Wallis answers.

You're talking decently to Wallis for the first time... and Almark looks over at the remaining boy's face as he thinks.

"Bye... Reido"

Almark names one boy.

"Okay. Torque then."

"... it's Pillman"

Torque named another boy, with the exception of Wallis, the two remaining boys. It's Morgen and Buyer.

"Almark, pick the last one."

Encouraged by Wallis, Almark answered without hesitation.

"Get Morgen."

Morgen gives a shout, and the unsuccessful buyer shows a relieved face.

"All right. It's up to the boys too."

Wallis clapped his hands, slapping.

"Now it's all settled. Matches with one pair are Torque, Galein, Deg, Pillman, then Wendy. Matches with three pairs are Almark, Nelson, Morgen, Leido, then Leila."

Almark, who left the classroom, spoke to Wallis as he was about to return in the hallway.

"Wallis."

Wallis looks back.

"Hey, Almark."

"I'd like to hear..."

Wallis smiles and nods at Almark's words.

"What? If that's what I know."

"... why don't you want to go to a martial arts tournament?

"What?

Wallis, asking back so, remained smiling, but there was a sharp light in his eyes.

"You are."

Almark does not intend to go through the light, but continues.

"Is there a reason you really don't want to go to martial arts competitions? You're so strong."

That's what I say, I look back into Wallis' eyes.

"Until I lied that I was injured"

To that word, Wallis' eyes shine dangerously, but his expression remains earlier.

"... I don't feel the need to answer that ridiculous question of yours, Almark"

Wallis answers only in a gentle tone.

"I'm injured, and I'm getting permission from Dr. Feer to be absent. That's everything."

"... well. Okay."

Almark returned the blemishes.

Wallis stared coldly at that back as he walked away.

The face wasn't laughing anymore.
