"Prince Wang's, twin brother"

Almark opened his eyes.

Even the twin brothers of the next king of the southern kingdom of Galais.

In front of me, this boy who just met his sword.

"You're lying."

And I say, close my mouth immediately.

Prince Wolfe and Wallis.

Almark said to Wallis himself, a face like that one.

That seemed more proof than anything that Wallis' words were true.

Still, I couldn't help asking.

"If that's true, why are you here? Besides, I'm sure of your last name."

Wallis raised his hand to control Almark's words.

"I answered your question."

That's what I tell you in a clear tone.

"But"

Wallis nods small without changing his expression when Almark tells him to.

"You're right, I'm Wallis Mozville now. I have little memory of being royal. I was adopted at the age of three."

So, and Wallis looks at Almark and smiles thinly.

"There's no need to be anything else. I don't mind as ever. There's no point in saying anything else."

"Why, to an adopted child"

"That's out of the question."

Wallis blocks Almark's words in an unspoken tone.

Looking at the silent Almark, Wallis laughs a little and says it's been a long time since he's had fun.

"Martial arts are something I try once in a while. It would be fun to be as good as you."

"Do you want to do it again?

Almark tried pointing at the water, but Wallis shook his head lightly.

"I told you it was outside the martial arts tournament. The martial arts tournament is a battle."

"Right."

Almark pulls back quickly, too.

"But why did you tell me this?"

"I'm guessing you've been asking."

"That's true, though."

Wallis didn't have a separate obligation to answer, but he did.

I wanted to know why.

"This is the end of this story"

Saying so softly, Wallis walks out towards the martial arts exit.

But on the way, I turned around and saw Almark.

"But I thought I could trust a man named you. So I talked."

"That's... thanks"

I didn't know what to answer, and Wallis' eyes became unwittingly harsh when Almark thanked him so.

Turn your back around and at the end of the day say this in a cold tone.

"But don't make a mistake. I trusted a man like you, but I didn't trust you."

Strange words.

A man named you. The presence of you.

Almark was confused.

"What does that mean?"

To Almark's inquiry, Wallis shook his head.

"When the time comes to know, we will know."

Wallis' last self-derisive whine as he left also reached Almark's ear with a glimmer.

"I don't know if that's the time."

The next day, the usual days began again.

After taking daytime classes, practice the magic of fog in the evening with a remedial study of Ill Miss.

Almark was also able to fog out fairly well now.

"How about fatigue after remedial studies?"

When Almark finishes the magic of fog all the way through, Illmis asks him that.

"I used to have some pretty strange tiredness, but not lately"

"Right."

Illmis nods.

"You've learned a lot about the use of magic."

"Is that so? I'm not sure for myself."

Almark grins bitterly and twists his neck.

Ilmis saw how Almark was doing like that and opened his mouth.

"Let's teach you the next magic today"

Almark's face shines upon the abrupt words of Illmis.

"Are you sure?"

"As I thought, you remember very quickly. Fly one step and also weave in the bunk. Next..."

Look at Almark's face as Illmis tries.

"It's the magic of lights."

Almark's face is slightly cloudy.

"Magic of the Light...... is it"

Are you scared?

The magic of bitter memories that Almark tried for the first time and put out the firepillar.

"Yes."

Almark nods honestly.

"But I want to do it"

"Right."

Ilmis raised his right hand to chest height.

When I thought, a small flame appeared over that hand.

"Wow."

Almark let his eyes shine.

"It's something you can put out so naturally"

Looking into its eyes, Illmis nods.

"You're more curious than afraid, apparently."

Almark takes his eyes off the flames and looks at Irmis' face.

Illmis goes on with his words deliberately rocking the flames.

"He seemed anxious during the magic of the fog. I thought you'd be more anxious to hear about the magic of the lights."

"Of course I'm anxious. But"

Almark stares once again at the flame over Illmis' hand.

"For me, this flame is like a magical symbol of everyone in my class."

"Symbol"

Illmis raises a single eyebrow.

"Yes."

Almark nods.

Since coming to this college, the magic of the lights has been with the Almarks, even outside of the magic practice classes.

When Lilty and I went to the Night Forest to find a handkerchief.

When I went to the garden maze with Wendy or Nelson or Norish.

When I happened to be with someone of my classmates on my way home late.

Did Morgen do the same when he went to see fireworks in the garden the day after the exam?

On various occasions, the classmates put out this flame without incident.

With that bright flame, Almark's feet lit up with me.

Almark can't do that.

I always relied on the lamp.

Actually, that was a little regrettable.

"I want to be able to use it. Magic of Lights"

"Right."

Illmis nods.

"It's a little harder than the magic of fog. And it's dangerous."

"Yes."

Almark nods. I know that very well.

"I know."

"I think I'm ready."

Illmis smiled.

"Well, let me tell you"
