Almark decided to tell Wendy and Morgen about it.
It's the two of us that got me worried about this one.
When I go back to the dorm, I first visit Morgen's room and take out Morgen, who was swelling his cheeks like squirrels with sweets, because I need to talk about something important.
When I went to Wendy's room, my roommate's color turned up, and I looked at Almark's face, and I said, alas.
"Almark. It was a cool martial arts tournament."
After that, I laugh in a meaningful way.
"I know. I know. Wendy, right?"
before Almark answered anything. Color looked back inside the room,
"Wendy, the boys are coming."
and call out.
"What, man?
Wendy's face, coming out with a strange face, looks at Almark and shines all the time.
"Ah, Almark."
"I'm here too."
Morgen peeks into his face from the side.
"And Morgen. What's the matter, both of you?"
"I need to talk to you for a second."
Almark says, the color behind him rushes over with an intriguing face.
"What, what? Maybe."
"Color, stop. Because that's not what it is."
Wendy rushes to push the collar back indoors, exiting the room and closing the door.
"Uh, what's the story?
Almark thinks Wendy, who hears that with a slightly red face, is cute after all, etc.
"It's a little hard to talk about here."
So I take him out to the dorm talking room.
Arranging at a table in the corner of the colloquium, where no one is around, Almark makes two of the stories he hears from the Dean of the College today, as far as he can tell himself.
When I started talking, Wendy's face, which was smiling at first, was cloudy and at the end of the day she was still crying.
Morgen had half-opened his mouth from halfway through and heard it with a pompous face, but when he finished listening,
"You say that the stick that Maia gave me is pretty good, right? I used to use it to chamber things with Nelson."
and confirms it with a flashing look.
"Yeah. It's that stick. I never thought I'd have that much power on that stick."
Almark nods.
"I can't believe that stick was a legendary magic tool... but I can't believe it"
That's what Morgen says and shakes his head.
"But I guess it's true that they came to take it away"
"Oh."
"I thought you looked weird in the game. I didn't think that would have happened."
"Actually, it is. Sorry I kept my mouth shut."
"Then what about Almark?"
Wendy pinches her mouth to the conversation between the two with a fine voice.
"You mean you've seen me dying twice in the last ten days or so?
"Oh, if you ask me"
Almark nods.
"I guess that's what's gonna happen"
Wendy's face gets rough.
"So the Dean of the Academy says there's still a lot of danger like that coming?
"Yeah. I mean a lot, at least three more snakes on this right hand side."
"Unforgivable"
That's what I said, Wendy slapped her desk and stood up.
The loud noise of bang, the other group of students sitting in a remote seat glimpse the three.
"I'm coming to protest against the Dean of the Academy"
"Oh, hey, Wendy"
Almark also rises in a hurry to unexpected words.
"Because I pushed such a dangerous thing on my students, and Almark actually caught me in danger again and again. You're telling me you're still gonna be in danger, aren't you? About Almark. What do you think it is? I really can't forgive you. Almark, let's go give that stick back to the teacher."
That's what I say. Take Almark's arm.
"Ma, wait. Wendy, calm down."
Almark holds Wendy back and lets her sit in the chair once.
"I'm glad to hear how you feel, but you need to hear my thoughts"
"Almark's...?
Wendy refuses, sitting back in the chair.
Almark begins his pre-prepared story as he alternates between the two.
"I think this is a good opportunity."
Wendy puts a face to Almark's words.
"A good opportunity."
"As we both know, I came two years late to this college. So even though I'm in third grade, there's only two magics I've learned."
Almark breaks his fingers with the magic of fog and the magic of lights.
"Teaching Dr. Illmis is very much not enough to chase everyone just in shape by the time they graduate from elementary school. I thought I needed to get through some tough trials to build myself up. So this is a wish or a fulfillment for me."
"That's why"
Wendy shakes her head.
"The Dark Warcraft, the Snake Curse, they're beyond the limits of such trials."
"I also understand Wendy's worries. Thanks."
Almark snorts.
"But to be honest, I'm glad I was chosen as Mars's wand. I've been recognized as the owner of such a legendary magic device."
"It's..."
Wendy looks complicated.
"Well, of course it's amazing."
"So I'm going to stand up to it. To build yourself up, to chase you all. To prove that I'm the right man to own Mars's wand."
When Almark said so and looked at Wendy, Wendy stared back at Almark's face like she was in trouble.
Slightly, Wendy nodded.
"Okay. If Almark says so."
"Thanks"
When Almark relieved and said so, he uttered what Wendy had never expected.
"Then I will protect Almark"
"Huh?"
Wendy stared straight at Almark, pompous by the unexpected words, and nodded hard.
"If something like this happens, and Almark dies, I absolutely don't like it. I'll protect Almark so it doesn't happen."
"No, hey"
"Whether it's a dark trap or a dark magician, never tell me if anything suspicious happens"
Wendy puzzles Almark so forcefully in the ass.
"I won't let Almark run into dangerous eyes by himself anymore"
No. How could that happen?
Almark stares at Wendy in dismay.
I'll be strong enough to protect you. Even though I decided to stand trial for it.
Doesn't it make sense that you should go along with the trial? [M]
Morgen, do something.
Almark looked at Morgen as if he were soaring.
"Oh, then I'll go out with you, too. Scary though."
But the favor, Morgen, says that too.
What are you talking about, Morgen? You promised Mr. Ward, too. Protect Wendy.
Approximately to Almark's confusion, Wendy took Almark's right hand.
"Don't lose the curse or anything. Because I'm with you."
"Me too."
"Oh, thank you"
"Let's fight together"
To Wendy's straightforward words, Almark had to snort.
