The next morning, Almark decided to ask Leido, who happened to be with him on his way to the school building, about the fountain cave.
"Fountain Cave?
Reido makes it right.
"Yeah. You know, the middle office uses it to train witchcraft."
"Oh."
Raydo nods as he thinks.
"Are you talking about the cave by Lulu's Fountain?"
"Lulu Fountain?
"Yeah."
Reido nods.
"It's a beautiful fountain behind the woods. There's a cave down there."
"You think they call it the Cave of Trials?"
"Sounds good."
Reido smiles and nods.
"It seems that the interior of the cave has been magically processed by the teachers. It's about five or six floors underground, and you think the goal is to get to the bottom by mid-level graduation?"
"Oh, there's a demon in there."
"I don't think there's any demons."
Reido snaps his neck.
"But there's a lot of magic traps and stuff like setup, and they can't move on without using the right magic. I hear some of them are dangerous like getting hurt. Besides, there's magic in the passage of the cave, and every time I step in, the structure is different."
"Wow."
Almark makes his eyes shine.
"Are we going in?"
"I don't think we can do this yet."
Reido shook his head.
"Because Lulu's Fountain is pretty far back in the woods. Primary restricted area."
"Oh, really?"
What kind of off-limits area was there in the forest?
Almark was surprised.
I remember that the forest was temporarily off-limits after the incident in which Jarranon took Eldo, but I didn't know that an off-limits area was designated in the primary area.
I do feel I was just instructed not to go too deep into the woods, even when the temporary ban on entry was lifted.
"I didn't know you had that."
"We were instructed as soon as we started school."
That's what Reido said and laughed.
"There's no point in not knowing Almark."
"Where are you off limits?"
To Almark's question, Reido thinks a little.
"I wonder if Almark has ever been that far behind the woods"
"Yeah."
Almark nods.
There was a daily remedial of Ill Miss, and there was no time to explore the woods slowly.
"As we go behind the woods, there's a no-go sign on the road along the way. That's all we can get in."
Then, laugh small and add.
"Well, most kids don't even protect them in third grade."
"Oh, really?"
"You can often pick flowers that smell good with Mora's original at the end of the bill. So girls go there a lot, and boys go there because they can catch big fish at the Goog waters near them"
"Heh."
Speaking of which, when I visited Wendy's room, I remembered a flower inserted right in there when I thought it smelled good.
Maybe that's what I've picked on Mora's raw, too.
"They scold me if I get beat up by a teacher, and when I run into a middle school student, they get rid of me, so we don't all go that far. Well, the middle school doesn't come to the woods as much as the first because they're busy studying."
"I see."
"But I've only been there once, too, because what you call the Lulu Fountain is so much deeper than Mora's origins and Goog's water field. I don't think any of the kids bothered to get to that place."
"Is it that far?"
"From the elementary school building, even if you leave right after school, it'll be evening by the time you get there. Then it'll be dark by the time we get to the dorm even when we get home soon. It's close to the middle school building."
"Oh, yeah."
Almark thought.
If Leila were to go there by herself, wouldn't it be a weekday with classes, not a holiday?
Maybe even yesterday, when I was fighting Coren, I was diving into a cave.
"If you're interested, let me take you"
Seeing how Almark looks like that, Leido suggests so.
"Next time, even after school on a convenient day for you. You usually have a tutorial for Dr. Illmis, don't you?
"Yeah."
Almark nods.
Speaking of which, Dr. Illmis also said he had business the day after tomorrow.
"So will you take me the day after tomorrow? I just don't have a tutorial."
"Fine."
Reido agreed with pleasure.
"Thanks"
"Fine. You won't have that much to do after school until the magic festival script comes up."
To Reido's words, Almark also remembers the magic festival play.
"Oh, the Curimet script."
Almark smiles and tells Leido.
"Looking forward to seeing what kind of play it will be."
"Right. Half the fun, half the fear."
That's what Reido says and laughs at.
"But Reido, you're going to do whatever it takes."
"Ha, I'm buying it."
Reido laughs refreshingly.
The school building is approaching.
"But why are you interested in the Fountain Cave?"
Secondly, Reido returns to the conversation.
"Did someone ask you?"
"Yeah."
Almark nodded vaguely.
It seemed better not to talk about Layla yet.
"Hey, because I heard rumors that there were caves like that"
"Right."
Reido nods sarcastically.
"I'll show you to the entrance the day after tomorrow. Well, I've never been in there either, so I can't show you inside."
"I'm not going in."
Almark waved in panic.
"You can never go in there. Then I'll stop you too."
Reido said so peacefully, too.
