The third herb, Oliharamabicariso, is a light-extracting grass.
At the time of the library incident, care should be taken in handling the grass, which Ein had named along with the fox mesow as a grass with photoaccumulative action, but which also emits heat along with light.
"Last year, I almost failed to make potion water."
That's how Wendy whines as she walks.
"I can't believe Olihara mavicari sows get that much heat up to when they boil"
"I remember. Your group looked tough."
Wendy stares lightly at Morgen laughing.
"Morgen was the one who pissed me off with all the extra seasoning in the potion water."
"I'm a delicious man of everything."
After answering that with a clear face, Huh and Morgen say as they recall.
"But Wendy's a lot better at making potion water."
"Eh."
I look back at Wendy with a surprised face, with a smile that Morgen makes fun of.
"When I was in freshman year, I thought this kid was gonna be okay."
Wendy laughs bitterly at the words.
"'Cause at home, I never did a job with fire, never cooked anything."
You reminded me of my failure, and I get a little embarrassed.
"All, all the things I remember from scratch when I came to this college"
"I think I know what it is."
Almark speaks that way from behind.
"You're a lady at home, so you're not supposed to be cooking or using fire."
Wendy, one of the biggest aristocrats in the great country of Galai and a courtier of the Bar Herb family. She's a clean honor student now, but I'm sure she had a lot of difficulty being her at the beginning of school.
So very naturally from her mouth, everyone has their own hardships, the word comes out.
And Almark thinks Wendy is beautiful to say so.
"Still wish I had done it before school"
Wendy laughs bitterly when she says so.
"Morgen, don't tell Almark that story."
"Oh, you told me to boil the herb, but you told me to broil it all on fire, right? I won't."
"Eh."
Almark accidentally raised his voice and Wendy said, "Morgen! scream."
"Already."
"Sorry. Sorry."
Morgen turns forward with a smile and a laugh.
"But okay. Dr. Celia praises you for being so good with your potion water."
"That's not the problem."
Wendy stares at Morgen's back.
"Even I told Almark that Morgen was chased by Emelia in freshman year, because I would tell that story"
"Let's not do that"
Morgen looks back in panic.
"I'm sorry."
I laugh at Morgen's honest apology when he cripples the sophomores he was hearing.
For a while, the calm air flowed.
"What nobleman are you?"
Radmar, who was silent, asked Wendy inadvertently.
"Me? It's Galai. Why?"
"What, I knew it was south"
Radmar says grumpy.
"Are there no nobles in Nakahara in the third grade?"
"So is my roommate, and I think there are a few of them,"
Wendy shows a bare gesture of thinking.
"In our class, I guess it's about Leila. of the Kingdom of Logosha."
"Leila? Oh."
Radmar seemed to think of it and laughed lightly.
"Leila Coogan. Right, the Coogan family. But can I still call that house noble?
Radmar spoke out in a suddenly confident tone.
"My mother told me that my lord over there today is a lot incompetent. Still barely hooked on aristocracy? Once upon a time, there too."
"Radmar"
Radmar wanders around with three simultaneous voices from three directions: Wendy and Morgen, and Almark.
"Hey, what, you guys"
"You shouldn't say bad things about people's homes."
Morgen says, Wendy nods.
"Everybody, there's a situation."
"Students in this college have a lot of identities, a lot of community kids. If we don't respect each other, we can't do it well."
Almark tells him that from behind, too, and Radmarh pushes him to shut up looking uninteresting.
The darkness of the night is getting even darker.
After a short walk, it became thin blurry and bright across the road.
"We've reached the herd of Oriharamabi Kalisoo."
I don't have to listen to Morgen. I get it.
The cause of brightness soon appeared before the eyes of Almarks.
I knew it was knowledge from the book that it had a photoaccumulative effect, but is it so bright when it crowds?
Almark marvels.
Again, all I don't know is if I don't actually look at it.
Oliharamavicarisoo was emitting blue light under the moonlight.
Because of its dense growth, it's as bright as daylight in the vicinity, with lots of featherworms sucked by the light flying around.
"Oliharamabi cariso is a grass that stores sunlight and dissipates at night."
Wendy explains to the sophomores.
"This time of year, we also store the light of the moon. So bright."
That's what I say, I put my bag down.
"Hmm."
Radmar approaches the grass.
The face looked badly unhealthy, illuminated by the blue light.
"Neither is this grass in the Middle Plains"
That's what I say. I reach for the grass unconstitutionally.
"Oh, no!
Wendy raised her sharp voice, but it was a moment late.
"Ahhh."
As soon as Radmar touched the grass, he screamed and pulled his hand in haste.
"Are you okay?"
Wendy rushes over.
Are you burned?
Morgen also rushes over and peeks into Radmar's hand.
Radmar's fingertips were discoloured.
"You were talking earlier. Oliharamabi Kalisoo also emits heat along with light. Especially this time of year. If you touch it with your bare hands, you'll burn it."
"That's why I was trying to get my gloves out right now."
Wendy looked sorry and took the thick leather gloves out of her bag.
"Wendy, I'll pick the grass."
That's what Almark says and receives those gloves.
"I wonder if you could ask for Radmar's treatment."
"Yes."
Wendy nods and kneels before Radmar.
Then hold the burnt hand to wrap it in with both hands.
"Poor thing. That hurt."
"What?"
Wendy closed her eyes when she shook her head and gently controlled Radmar, who was surprised to say something.
A warm light of healing wraps Radmar's hand through Wendy's.
Radmar breathed and stared at Wendy's face.
After a while, Wendy opens her eyes.
"How's that? Does it still hurt?
Asked so, Radmar wandered to look away and shook his head small.
Almark wears gloves and grabs the Oliharamabi Kalisoo.
"Whoa."
Speak up, which is unusual.
"Wow. Still hot even with gloves on."
"Be careful."
Wendy looks worried.
"It's so hot in some places."
"Yeah."
Almark replies and picks the grass handily.
"It's okay. Because the skin on my hands is much thicker than people's."
"Say that again"
Wendy gave a frightened voice.
"But I'm really good at picking. I think I know what's hot."
When I hear you praise me that way, I look like Radmar doesn't seem funny.
"That's no big deal. Even I can do that with gloves on."
"Oh."
Wendy looks back and smiles.
"Right. Good luck with Radmar next year."
"You don't have to tell me."
Saying so, Radmar glanced away from Wendy's smile, leaning back and kicking the ground.
