"Dean Mel Rose. This is a report from this week's Alliance."

The dean of the "University of Magic", Mel Rose, had received several documents from his men in the dean's office set up in a branch of the pioneering city neighborhood.

"Oh, thank you. I'll make sure."

Shaking her long hair, Mel nods back at her men.

"Yes, and... earlier, someone has come to name the dean's guest... He's a suspicious man hiding his face in a magical mask..."

"Oh, because that person has already contacted me. Please let me through."

"Yes, sir."

That's how my men leave the dean's office for a few minutes.

What I came in to replace was a tall body with clothes that looked good in quality and a mask that looked black.

Mel greets him with a smile as he walks this way with his big crotch.

"I was surprised to hear from you all of a sudden, but it's rare to come so far from the capital, Disciple Duke"

In response to this voice, whoever comes in removes his mask.

Beneath the mask was the face of a middle-aged man - Duke, and he grinned bitterly.

"I was close at work. Just let me stop by at the end, Dean Mel, who's a senior-than-me but younger looking and old."

That face, taken off the mask, is indeed King Duke.

Mel says to him, who is older than himself, less than thirty years old, but later became a disciple of the Prophet than himself.

"As always, the king himself is out and working for you? 」

"Whatever. I have no problem with the escort as well. As always, you're not caged in the capital's lab, you're moving around outside."

After talking to each other like that, the two laugh frankly.

"Heh heh... it's someone your master taught you. It's only natural that we should move closer."

"Uhm, must be"

As usual.

We leave our master and operate in various parts of the world, but when we're in the neighborhood, we meet and interact like this.

... This connection is also appreciated by your master.

And if you're still as usual today, feel free to talk to each other a little after this, exchange information, and break up. That would happen, Mel thought.

"... oh yeah. I have to tell you about Master Eisen. The other day I did a routine fortune teller that apparently a powerful prophet will be out in this world soon."

To Duke's words, Mel stood up, rattling.

"The prophet... means the master is back...!? 」

In response to such excitement here, Duke shook his neck sideways with a sober face, however.

"No, it's not. The accuracy of the prophecy through fortune tells us nothing yet. Whether the prophet is Master Eisen or not, when will he come?"

Hearing that word, Mel's head, at once, gets cold.

"Yes... right? With that level of precision, Master, it would be at the level of..."

Mel, whining, switches with thoughts.

Leaving aside what I don't know as it stands, trying to tell you what I do know.

"... because whoever comes, he who has the prophetic aptitude, is precious. I'd like to welcome you with all my might at that time. Even more so if you're a master."

"Mm-hmm. I've already given instructions to the Global Alliance for when the Prophet showed up. The welcome system is in place.... but the fake ones are coming out pretty good."

Mel knows.

That there are people out there who are scamming their backgrounds because they complain that if they are prophets, they will be treated well.

And being seen through scams from one end to the other, and being punished accordingly.

"Well, we'll have to do what we can. I have to get the job done, in order to welcome your master as best I can when he arrives. That's enough to welcome your master at the University of Magic! 」

"Um, you're right! I'd like to welcome Master Eisen, too! 」

The master watched over us and raised us, and he gave us many powers. Mel thinks that welcoming him so flashy won't hit the bee.

Duke seems to agree.

... or most of my fellow disciples would agree, wouldn't they?

I have thoughts close to certainty. So now you have to work even hard on the job you can do right now, in preparation for that.

"Oh... speaking of work, I've heard that you've been doing things like the master of the Global Alliance in The City of Pioneering for the past few years."

"Yeah, 'cause I work here at the school. It's hard to get involved in the operation of pioneering cities and guilds... but it's fun. I can find kids with ideas that aren't seen in the capital, and I can teach them."

As Mel says, he drops his gaze again on the document he was getting earlier and looking through.

There, this week, the ranks and professions of the people registered in the guild were all on the list.

This information was offered to the Global Alliance once a week so that it could immediately investigate the growth of each profession and the distribution of ranks.

Some of these brilliant wizards I teach.

Due only to the distribution and situation confirmation materials, the list is simple with only occupations and ranks, with no name. But if you compare your profession and rank here with a card with a godson, you'll see in one shot.

Probably in the future, they'll be more than B-ranked professionals, those kids.

"I see... we have to build a system around here that picks up talent well."

"I think it's still pretty good."

Since the determination of magic measurements was made, mechanisms have been created to support excellence from the regions and frontiers.

"B-ranks and above are reported immediately to the capital and the royal castle. Also, there will be reports Monday of how many professors of each rank came out of the city's guild.... It's a season of plenty. D-rank, of course, even C-rank."

Just looking lightly earlier, there were two C-ranks.

It's a city far from the capital. Even though the population isn't that big, I think it would be great to have a C-rank.

"Well, that's good. I'm thankful to have more people looking forward to the future."

"Really. Just... hey, yeah. You can't just look forward to the future."

Duke leans his neck toward these unleashed words.

"The last few months have seen more warcraft around this pioneering city. There are a lot of people with high physical protection, so the magicians are running out of hands."

"Hmm, did you"

Duke nods as he whispers his eyebrows. To date, there has been an increase in the number of warcraft in pioneering cities, but that has been temporary on a daily or weekly basis. However, the increase over several months is rare, so it can be taken for granted.

"Well, so be it. The kids at the University of Magic are brilliant, but I knew it would be tough with a lot of stuff.

"Hmm... an increase in Warcraft can also lead to a deterioration in security. Now, as soon as we get back to the capital, let's gather some information and keep the sorcerer's dispatch in view."

"Please, Disciple Duke. Always keep the report in a letter."

"Mm-hmm. Nice to meet you, Dean Mel.... Speaking of letters, I'd like to send them to Master Eisen again."

"Right.... The truth is, if your master had come this way, it would have been best..."

I can't help but say my hopes.

With that in mind, Mel continued to exchange information until Duke had plenty of time to return to the capital.
