The Struggle of Returning to The Other World

14. How about a dance party?

I ended up sleeping a whole two days, and on the third day I finally got out of bed.

That third day, too, just in case, gave me the day off, and I was struck by guilt. The word grain crushing runs through my head. You need to be in good physical condition so that you don't catch a cold anymore.

And day four.

I decided to go shopping out to the city because Senna will still be taking delivery of my lunch box today. I was stuck in my room for a few days, so I took a breath of outside air and changed my mood.

"Ah, Hulka!

I was walking down the boulevard, and I was called from behind.

Looking back, it's in my eyes that Midi, the herbalist, is waving at me. In her arms, a paper bag containing several large pieces of bread. I'm sure Mr. Midi is in the middle of shopping as well.

"Hello, Midi"

"Good to see you. If I hadn't seen you today, I would have gone to your shop."

Greetings were there, and Mr. Midi ran up to my side.

A poor girl like Mr. Midi in our muddy, painful fixer?

"Is something wrong?

"That's it, thank you for putting your hair together beautifully during this time."

"Oh, that thing. It's no big deal."

About arranging you for trendy Ardina-sama hair in the alley. It's really not a big deal, even if they don't thank me for changing it. Besides, I got flower decorations then too, more like I caught a sea bream with shrimp.

"I met some friends that day, and they were very popular. Everyone envied me."

"Oh well. Good for you."

"So!

but Mr. Midi held my hand hard.

"I need a favor from Harka."

"Please?"

I see, here's the real deal.

"I'm supposed to get together tomorrow night on Sals Day with the young kids for a little dance party, and I want Halka to put her hair together again then"

Dance party! Is there such a lovely event among the citizens?

Well, the girls have a temper, don't they?

"At first I thought I'd ask a hairdresser, but it's pretty expensive. And Hulka's going to be cuter to finish."

I don't feel bad when they say that. Plus there's a desire to support a girl's youth.

Just on Sals Day, our fixer is closed. Yeah, I guess you don't mind if I go out a little bit.

Nodding lightly, Mr. Midi jumped a little while holding my hand. Lovely.

"Oh, thanks! Four friends, including me. Nice to meet you."

- Four. I didn't know you were going to bring the last piece of information that was taken and important.

Well, okay.

I was feeling really light at this time.

The next evening I visited Mr. Midi's house as promised.

Instead of going shopping for herbs, I interrupt your house with an appointment with a friend. Oh, it's been a very long time since I've had anything like this. I'm secretly delighted. We need to tighten our faces so we don't get too rusty.

"Hello -"

"There you are, Hulka"

Mr. Midi picked me up as soon as I peeked into his face from the winning hand behind the herbal store.

Mr. Midi had already changed into party clothes and it seemed like he wasn't some kind of the usual girlfriend.

One piece to the barrel is a calm yellow color close to gold and suits Mr. Midi well with red hair. This is the type of piece that goes from the neck muscle to the vicinity of the Decor. This looks like the whole silhouette would come out nicer with your hair properly up. Usually the sleeping women's antenna moves out for the first time in a long time.

"Please come up. My friends are in my room."

I'm prompted to go upstairs.

It was a house of similar construction to our fixer. The size and spacing of Japanese houses in general remains the same. However, this one seems a lot higher in heaven though.

"Guys, Halka's here."

"Well, there you are!

"Oh, you're Hulka!

"I've been waiting for you!

The yellow voice flew in as the door to Mr. Midi's room opened.

In a room not so big, the women in colorful pieces are solidified. Those girls stood up at once and welcomed me with momentum that I just couldn't storm this way. I didn't expect you to be so enthusiastically welcomed. It reminds me of when I was summoned here as a witch.

"Midi's hair in the meantime, Aldina's hair, was a perfect reproduction."

"That's amazing, Halka. Did you study hair tie somewhere?

No, I'm not, either, I don't have a pro level move.... I don't know if you're okay, I can't believe you're expecting me to be this far. Really, even though we can only arrange hair at the high school level for girls.

You noticed me when I realized I was scared, and Mr. Midi took control of them by hand.

"Well, even Harka's not a hairdresser, so don't make too many unscrupulous requests"

"Huh. So, can you do me a favor first? It feels like Ardina had the same hairstyle during this time..."

"Wait, that's sloppy, Rousha. I was going to make you look like Ardina, too."

"You two are? If I asked you too, the three of us would have similar hairstyles!

The high tension in women is a tremendous thing.

Everyday, completely tamed with the old man's tense, I was overwhelmed by their power and stood on the spot without a word.

When I was a high school girl in Japan, too, I wonder if I was making a scene like this. On the train or something, it's definitely annoying, isn't it? When we get back to the original world, let's try to be a little more discreet.

But I don't hate these Nori either.

I succeeded in getting acquainted with them little by little and managed to satisfy my requests and create a hairstyle that utilized the cuteness of each of the four of them. In the end, Dear Ardina, the hair must come from the other girls, so it was salvation that became a stream that I didn't focus on there.

You did a good job with me! And as they looked at the four daughters, they grinned deeply at each other's faces.

"Well, then, it's Hulka's turn."

I don't understand the meaning of Mr. Midi's words.

Me? Yeah, what do you really mean?

"Harka, you're coming to the party with us, too."

"Ha!?

A voice came out of the bottom of my belly. 'Cause I didn't ask. I didn't ask you!

"Hulka, you're a girl of your age, but you haven't talked about floating around at all, have you? I mean, my hot, painful uncles work in regular fixers, so there's no floating story, naturally. But you can't do that. What a waste of youth!

Mr. Midi's eyes are burning with a sense of purpose.

"So, let's definitely ask Halka out this time."

No, you didn't invite me, did you? It's a notice of a decision, isn't it? It's the flow of being taken by force, isn't it?

"Don't worry. I have a dress for Hulka."

"I can't tie your hair as well as Halka, but I'll do it for you three."

Well, what Midi came out with was a light peach piece. The waist is narrowed tight by a long ribbon, from which the fluffy long skirt waves. Oh, sweetie. There are things that are not too flashy or too plain, and even my senses of being Japanese attract my heart.

That's cute, though, for sure! Put that on. I can't believe I'm a dance party. That's a different story!

"I'm fine, at this party, my partner is something I'll find locally. Neither do we. So don't worry about anything, just talk about us."

No, so you don't want to meet like that here.

Besides, it might be extremely dangerous for a former witch to go to a place where an unspecified number of people gather.

But no matter how much you refuse, they can't escape their demon hands.

I had no choice but to get dressed in a pink piece too, as the momentum seemed to force me to rip my clothes off if I didn't like it very persistently. After that, when I ended up being their hair-tied doll, I was supposed to obey their words in a mindful way.

And here we are, the dance party venue.

A short distance from the center of the city is the outdoor multi-purpose square. It seems to be a square used in various events from time to time, and today it is thus vibrantly decorated as an exchange place for young people.

But for the city's youth-centered event, I'm working on it.

For example, street trees standing in such a way as to enclose the square are wrapped with lights of various colors. It's as beautiful as a Christmas tree, but I don't think this light alone is quite something I can prepare. Because it is magic that is the driving force behind lighting in this world. I mean, lights are a kind of magic trick. It is loaned from the state and cannot be used in luxury by the general public.

Thanks to you, the square at night was brighter than I thought.

Gosh, I thought if I was lost in the dark, it would end inconspicuously. In this brightness, evil stands out such as a person who does nothing but stand up.

Midi just showed his frightened face when he was also grumbling badly during his predecessors.

"What do you hate so much? Well, I'm sorry I brought you here unannounced."

"... no, I don't know what to say..."

I had no choice but to answer, and I clouded my tea in vague words.

Look, a lot of young people are enjoying themselves with a cute smile.

Sounds fun indeed. I don't hate this kind of thing at all.

But I may still be cowardly about something called "love." Simply put, it means we're still dragging on about Noel.

I'm sure that's why I sit back at events that remind me of this kind of encounter.

"I'm a little worried about Halka, but you can't help it if we're all here like this. Shall we scatter?"

Suddenly Mr. Midi's suggestion drained me of my temper.

"What, you scatter!?

"That's right. If the four women had hardened, no one would have called. Two women might still be good though. Hulka, would you like to walk with me inside the venue?

Mr. Midi tipped his neck.

Unsurprisingly, the women are aggressive. Not so motivated or temperamental, I wanted to choose the path to follow Mr. Midi. - but I'm not motivated. Together, I'm going to pull Mr. Midi's leg. I decided to send out the weeping Midi.

Yeah, if this happens, I'll put more effort into food!

Fortunately, the venue also had a wide variety of food in Viking format.

Not long after the party started, there are a handful of young people running to food all of a sudden at this hour. I'm also glad to say that when you become a woman, you almost never look like one.

Something like this, maybe a little different from my world. In Japan, I don't know if it would be a party if it were a buffet, but I think it's something that pretty much everyone eats up. Many, especially young women, say they don't move while still solidified in the sweet corner.

I'd rather eat meat than sweets.

That's why I found fried chicken! When I took it to the plate as a delight, it stretched from side to side and from another hand to fry. The hand picks up about three fried chicken. Oh, you're following me.

"This looks delicious."

It sounds familiar to the voice I've spoken to unexpectedly.

Looking at the young man next door...

"Ah."

It's the festive numb man from the festival of the consecration!
