The Struggle of Returning to The Other World

21. Competitor certified at will

As usual, to lunch delivery, I headed to the Magic Institute.

If Mrs Ordis were here, apparently she would be absent today, although I would have wanted to see if there had been any progress since then. I don't really have a choice because I'm not the kind of person who's immersed in the lab.

Instead, it caught my eye that Luna and Corey, whom I also met last time, were sitting in their seats facing each other. What the hell are you doing?

"Hello"

"Oh, hello, Mr. Hulka. Lunchbox, I've been waiting for you ~!"

Mr. Luna welcomed me with a big eye gleaming. Mr. Luna picks up lunch boxes from every cage with momentum from jumping at me and takes the contents out.

On the other hand, I was concerned about something like the board on the desk that these two were peeking at. A painted board with helmets that could be done with chess or bezel. Every one of those eyes glows thinly blurry. By the eyes, two slight lights: white and blue. It's so beautiful.

Mr. Corey, who realized I was staring at the board, told me with a laugh.

"This is an on-board game that uses magic. Each and every one of these eyes is in a position, and it's a game that's going to take that position together."

Oh, reversi...... so that's the kind of game it is.

"Normally we use white and blue colored stones to put our positions together, but we're magicians, so we use magic to be like this."

When Mr. Corey put a finger on one of his eyes, the white glowing helmet turned blue. Wow, looks like illumination.

"Nice, he said he could use magic."

"Do you want to give Mr. Hulka a try? It's easier for normal people to move on this board because we use it all the time and we have a lot of magic buildup."

"Oh, is that true?

When I was a witch, I could have used it if it was simple magic. I thought it was like I wanted to dream then, but can magic still be used while I'm in this world? I secretly swelled my chest with anticipation, imitating Mr. Corey and following one of the helmets with my fingers.

- But the blue light is never painted white.

"Is that a little impossible?

Mr. Corey shrugged sorry as he raised his eyebrow butt.

"Am I not magical at all?"

"Um, yeah, hey, well, there's a problem with getting used to it, too"

Familiarity issues, huh? But I used to use it, so when it comes to getting used to it, I'm supposed to be used to it. After all, I seem to have fallen back on being a normal person everywhere. I wish I knew, but I can't cut it.

"Speaking of which, Mr. Hulka. Have you met Mr. Sotini?

Runa, who apparently finished handing out her lunches to the magicians, asked me as she spread her share of the lunches.

Mr. Sotini? That's the first name I've ever heard.

"No, who is it"

"Oh, if I haven't seen you, I guess I've never crossed without seeing you. I'm sure it'll be a pain in the ass for Mr. Hulka. Do you mean, let me tell you, I think you should do such a stubborn bigoted magician or something in the first place, but apparently the maiden heart isn't that easy either. Maybe she's one of the unfortunate victims of love."

Not at all. I can't see the story.

"Mr. Sotini is the name of a female cleric with a royal palace."

Mr. Corey put out a help ship for me.

"You're an avid follower of Master Ordis. Even though he seems to be a very competent and identifiable cleric, he's so bragging that if he can marry Master Ordis, he can be vulgar. I don't know what to say, but it's hard to say that I'm a very chaste woman who serves God,... uh, terribly passionate person."

Mr. Ordis's followers! Does such a woman exist?

Well, that guy's got a nice face, too. It may not be strange to be admired by a woman who just looks at it from a distance. As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to vote for Luna's unforgiving Mr. Ordis review.

But why would Mr. Sotini not meet with me?

"Anything, Mr. Sotini says he's hostile to Mr. Hulka. The selflessness of a maiden in total love is a universal fact that cannot be changed from ancient times to times."

"Huh!? What are you doing to me?

"Hey, Luna. They've never even met him, so you won't have to say anything extra."

Mr. Corey can talk, but I want to hear everything I've heard so far. Why do we have to be hostile to a female cleric who has never even met her face? I don't even remember myself enough.

"If you don't already have a face-to-face meeting, you should know you're rejecting it! Mr. Sotini has doubts about the relationship between Mr. Hulka and Mr. Ordis. Master Ordis, who has been in my thoughts for a long time, doesn't even look to me. And yet I can't bear to hear that she's been putting it in her pompous civilian daughter these days! I met my little girl once and I had to restrain her! And well, here's how it goes."

"Wait a minute, am I the daughter of a pompous civilian?

It's Mr. Hulka.

How did that happen?

Delivery of lunches to the laboratory is still a few events, and only two of them I have met with Mr. Ordis. How the hell am I supposed to tell you where Mr. Ordis is putting me?

Or is it surprising in itself that what I and Mr. Ordis were meeting and talking about is known to those outside the institute...

"I'm not kidding, it's really impossible. You're over thirty in the first place, aren't you, Mr. Ordis? I didn't do it from there first."

"... Haruka, you say quite a bit"

Mr. Corey shrugged as he pulled his cheeks.

No, that would be a lot of nice thirties in the world......

"Anyway, that's why Mr. Sotini seems to be looking around for Mr. Hulka. I have clergy duties over there during the day, so I don't think it's going to be easy to fit in with Mr. Halka, who is just here for lunch delivery, but take care of yourself. In the unlikely event that you encounter it, you should beat it up by the time you are fully skinned, if possible, to free you from your bloody thoughts!

Please don't bother coming to such trouble.

"But, Mr. Hulka originally knew Master Ordis?

Mr. Corey asked in wonder.

"Huh?"

"It seemed like you and I were talking when we got here. I can't usually imagine that Mr. Ordis, who originally hated people, would talk to someone close to the first time."

"Hey......"

I'm not sure how you answered Mr. Corey's overly accurate point.

But even if you mislead me weirdly, it's going to be a hassle later. There are going to be a lot of opportunities to consult with Mr. Ordis in the future, and even then I will have trouble getting the same suspicions.

"Actually, he was an old acquaintance."

"I knew it!

"Oh, not like my mentor... but, um, well, I can't seem to say I took care of him..."

To my answer, which I cannot boil, Mr. Luna smiles with a full face.

"I get it, I get it! Mr Hulka is rightly appreciative of Master Ordis. The fact that you don't like that bastard is nothing more than that you often understand someone named Ordis! I don't want to admit it, but it means we have a little deeper company than just facial acquaintance."

"He's a stranger, too. When did you get to know such a wonderful young lady?"

I have difficulty being explored for a specific relationship. I took away the shivers and empty cages.

"Now, if you'll excuse me around here today. Thank you again."

Go home before they get stuck.

I left the lab behind with a smile on my face.

But Mr. Sotini. Ah.

If you're really involved or something, it's no bother.

I was sighing and walking down the hallway of the royal palace.

Tall windows line the hallway at equal intervals. The leaky days of wood shooting from it and the sounds of birds hearing the leaks are creating pastoral air that I don't think is royal palace, which is comforting.

Nice, I want to be a bird too......

Still, it's a really, really annoying story.

How can it be that the heavens and the earth are turned upside down when me and Mr. Ordis say this? If rumors like this get into Mr. Ordis's ear, it's heartfelt horrible. What would you do if I wasn't bad enough to be hit eight times and get in the way of my return to the original world?

No, not at all.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not going to be doing anything noticeable, but it's something I take a good look at all the extras around.

"Ah, you, you're the kid from the example fixer, aren't you? Can I have a word?"

That's when I was suddenly called out from behind, and I literally jumped up.

For a moment I thought it was Mr. Sotini. It was a man's voice, so I immediately realized it wasn't there.

Looking back, men from around the late twenties were about to rush over here. Are you a cook or something from your outfit?

"I'm suddenly sorry. Can I have a minute now?

"Ha."

"Today's lunch delivery is over, isn't it? You don't know what's left of it, do you?

Saying, peeking into the cage. Make sure it's completely empty, and your brother dropped his shoulder disappointingly.

"Hey, I'm talking about a reputation."

"Um, when I take it to the magic lab, it's all bought at the lab, so there's no room for it in the first place."

"Oh, really? Ah"

Recently, a request from someone from another department who is neither a soldier nor a magician to come to our house began to pop in.

However, due to the problem of our hands, it is impossible to deliver anywhere without so much, and the royal palace has not given us permission to sell to anything other than a training ground and a magic institute. So the situation continues that I have to refuse.

"Well, I wonder if you could just deliver it to us one day tomorrow."

"In our existence, whatever. If you could speak through the proper department of the Royal Palace..."

"Well, I guess that's hard."

"Um, which do you want delivery to, by the way?

"Oh, I'm sorry, you did. I'm Rick, the cook here in the dining room. I'd like to ask for delivery in our cook's pantry."

Yeah, eh? Suppose you go to a professional cook, lunch delivery?

Is that okay?

Apparently he noticed my suspicions, Mr. Rick, with a loose grin.

"No, it's embarrassing. Come on, there's been a lot of people coming to the dining room lately. There have been many inconveniences such as short opening times, so the number of users was originally low for the number of employees working for us. But they're losing so many users that the royal palace is starting to think about replacing us as cooks."

Oh, my God, is that a retard?

"Surely we didn't have to worry about sales or reputation, so there was something out of our minds. The lack of motivation has been passed on to the users, and they must have called the idle birds. So I'm going to reflect and change my mind, but I can't motivate the people around me right now."

That's your lunch box! and Mr. Rick.

"Your lunch box, because of the low number of sales a day, is treated as" phantom "among the soldiers. I know it helps with the rarity, but still, it's amazing how many soldiers look forward to just about twenty lunches. So for once, I'd love to try that lunch box that's gaining a reputation in this royal palace. But it's impossible for us cooks to go to the training hall at noon to buy lunch."

That's right. Anyway, noon is the busiest time for cooks.

"That's why I wanted to ask for delivery. But there's no way the upper management of the Royal Palace would allow lunch delivery to the cook. Next time I'm gonna sneak out of the kitchen and go buy some."

The royal palace cooks are in trouble, too.

Maybe for Rick and the others, our fixer is like a tambourine over your eyes. Still, let's not harass them or anything, but rather motivate ourselves by confronting Takobu! Oh, my God, that's a great improvement.

I hope they don't get retarded.

... I wonder if I can get Rick and the others lunch boxes for a little while.
