It has to be said, the Tang Family’s security measures are really quite good, installing the most advanced electronic surveillance equipment, much better than having security guards on watch.

Lin Mu sat in the car without getting out. Instead, he casually took out a cigarette and lit it up. The alarm blared for a minute before falling silent, and nothing stirred at the Hai Family’s gate, with no one coming out.

Of course, Lin Mu figured that since there was an alarm system at the gate, there must be cameras, and the situation outside could surely be seen from inside. So, Lin Mu exhaled a puff of smoke and then got out of the car.

Lin Mu glanced at the camera in front of the gate, smiling slightly. He flicked a cigarette butt with a bit of added Inner Strength, and it struck the camera like a dart, shattering it instantly.

Leaning against the front of the car, Lin Mu waited as a flurry of footsteps emerged from inside, knowing full well that people were coming out.

In an instant, over a dozen guys in uniform black suits stood in front of Lin Mu, each one fixing him with a wary stare.

Lin Mu continued to chuckle, looking at the dozen or so black-suited bodyguards. They were merely ordinary thugs, no real threat to someone as skilled as Lin Mu.

"Hey, is that old man Tang Hongwei around?" Lin Mu asked the black-suited bodyguards in front of him.

The dozen or so bodyguards did not speak, but their actions made their attitude clear. They lined up, then all simultaneously drew their guns, aiming at Lin Mu.

"Wow, you guys are really ruthless!" Lin Mu remarked, looking at the bodyguards. But it was clear he showed no signs of fear. If he could be scared by a dozen guns, he would have died hundreds of times on the North African battlefield.

"Fire!" the leader in the middle shouted, and then unhesitatingly pulled the trigger.

"Bang bang..."

The gunfire erupted as the dozen or so men started shooting at Lin Mu. Yet despite the barrage, not a single bullet hit him. Somehow, Lin Mu’s figure miraculously vanished.

After the gunfire ceased, all the bodyguards were stunned and bewildered. Clearly, they were puzzled as to where Lin Mu had gone.

How could he disappear like a ghost?

As the bodyguards were still in a daze, Lin Mu’s figure reappeared in their midst.

This time, the bodyguards were even more taken aback. What on earth was going on?

How did he reappear in the blink of an eye?

The guards were utterly confused, spines tingling. They started to feel as though they’d encountered a ghost. Was this still human? His speed was astonishing, like a Ghost Shadow, disappearing in a blink and then reappearing mysteriously—it was truly bewildering.

Lin Mu looked at the bodyguards and grinned, "Heh, your marksmanship isn’t all that great, huh? A bunch of guns and you couldn’t hit me, what a disappointment."

"You..." The faces of the several bodyguards were full of surprise, then they yelled together, "Fire."

Saying that, the group once again raised their guns, targeting Lin Mu, seeming all set to shoot again.

"Haha, I won’t give these bastards another chance to fire!" Lin Mu sneered, then leapt into the air, charging forward like lightning.

In the blink of an eye, Lin Mu appeared before the bodyguards, unleashing a flurry of swift and powerful strikes. In a matter of moments, the sound of clattering guns hitting the ground echoed everywhere, while one of them fell right into Lin Mu’s hand.

"Bang bang..."

Lin Mu fired a few consecutive shots, catching the bodyguards still in surprise, unable even to process what had happened. As they pondered Lin Mu’s incredible speed, the next thing they knew, several of them were sprawled in a pool of blood.

"Fools, know your limits! This is what it means to bring about your own downfall!" Lin Mu coldly sneered, then tossed the gun on the ground and stepped over the bodyguards’ corpses, entering the Tang Family Mansion.

At the entrance of the Tang Family Mansion, a group of bodyguards stood in two rows at the stairway. Between the two teams of bodyguards stood a middle-aged man, his skin so dark he resembled an African, and under the nighttime sky, he appeared even darker. Yet just standing there, he emanated a very powerful presence.

Lin Mu sauntered into the courtyard, glancing at the men stationed at the Tang Family entrance, and smiled, "Little punks, are you making me clear three checkpoints?"

"Lin Mu, I didn’t expect you to have the guts to come here alone?" said the dark-skinned man standing among the bodyguards.

"Haha, why wouldn’t I dare? Is this Yama Hall or something?" Lin Mu shrugged indifferently.

"That’s right, this is indeed Yama Hall," the dark-skinned man said.

"Hmm, it does look like Yama Hall. You’re so dark and so ugly, you must be King Yan, right?" Lin Mu grinned.

Upon hearing Lin Mu’s words, the man’s face darkened, clearly displeased. Obviously, Lin Mu’s words had angered him, and it was clear he was about to blow his top.

"That’s right, I am known as the Black Demon King. You’re right—I’m here to take your life," the Black Demon King responded, his expression going darker. He was unmistakably about to erupt.

"You call yourself the Black Demon King? I don’t think it suits you. I reckon Black Coal suits better, or just call you Black Egg!" Lin Mu crossed his arms in front of his chest, scrutinizing him.

"I think you’re looking for death, and you’ll learn that offending me, the Black Demon King, doesn’t end well. Brothers, take him down for me!" the Black Demon King waved his hand, ordering the bodyguards.

In an instant, the bodyguards rushed toward Lin Mu. These bodyguards were indeed much more formidable than those outside, but to an extraordinary expert of Lin Mu’s Profound Red Level, they were nothing but trash! The gap in their abilities was insurmountable, not even comparable to eighteen streets!

"Haha, why call yourself the Black Demon King? I still think Black Egg suits you better!" Lin Mu quipped and then dashed like an arrow into the midst of the bodyguards. Quickly, Lin Mu’s figure seemed to carry a cloud of black mist, weaving in and out of the crowd. Wherever he went, the black mist practically carried a deadly poison, keeping others at bay, while any bodyguards that got close would be crushed by the suffocating aura.

Lin Mu’s speed was exceedingly fast; in the eyes of these bodyguards, their naked eyes could see but a shadow. As for attacks, these bodyguards’ amateurish skills couldn’t keep up with Lin Mu’s pace at all!

Seeing these useless guards, Lin Mu chuckled. Did these small fry really want to fight him? What a joke!

After toying with them for a while, Lin Mu got bored of playing this cat-and-mouse game. Stretching his arms and legs, he launched a fierce strike. In the next moment, a chorus of screams erupted out of nowhere!

"Ah ah..." The screams echoed one after another!
