One of the Lanzai glanced at Lin Mu, his face full of arrogance, "Damn it, do you guys know how to drive or not?"

"Haha, bro, what do you mean by that?" Lin Mu chuckled and asked while looking at the Lanzai.

"What do I mean? You’re driving so slow, blocking my way," the Lanzai said unhappily.

"Blocking your way? Haha, the road is so wide, how could I be blocking your way?" Lin Mu replied with a smile.

"I say you’re blocking me, so you are, got a problem with that?" Lanzai glared at Lin Mu and said.

"Haha, if I’m blocking your way, how come you’ve already walked in front of us? Surely that means we’re not in your way, right?" Lin Mu laughed again.

Obviously, what Lanzai said was just unreasonable noise, and being called out on it, he got angry, "Damn, are you looking for trouble? I say you’re blocking me, so you are, got a problem with that?"

"Haha, no problem, I’m not opposed! So, what do you want to do about it?" Lin Mu exhaled a puff of smoke and asked.

"What do we do? Of course, you need to pay up!" Lanzai said arrogantly.

"Pay up? How much?" Lin Mu chuckled and asked.

"Ten thousand," Lanzai replied.

"Haha, ten thousand, no problem, but I don’t have that much cash. How about you come with me to the bank to withdraw it?" Lin Mu said with a smile.

"No cash, how much do you have?" Lanzai looked at Lin Mu and asked.

"Not much, should be about a hundred. How about it?" Lin Mu said with a grin.

"Damn it, a hundred bucks, are you trying to send a beggar?" Lanzai pushed Lin Mu unhappily and then reached out his hand, "Hand over that hundred bucks."

"Uh..." Lin Mu looked at Lanzai and felt a burst of frustration, thinking this guy must be an idiot! Just a moment ago he said a hundred bucks is for beggars, and now he wants it. Isn’t that like calling himself a beggar?

"A hundred bucks, you want that too?" Lin Mu looked at Lanzai and asked.

"Damn it, isn’t a hundred bucks money?" Lanzai said while eyeing Lin Mu.

"Uh..." Lin Mu looked at this obnoxious Lanzai, thinking their logic is truly like that of Mars People! These guys must be Lanzai from Mars!

"Haha, bro, I have something good; do you want it?" Lin Mu looked at Lanzai with a mysterious expression and said.

"What is it?" Lanzai seemed interested, thinking Lin Mu might have some treasure.

"Look here," Lin Mu shook his fist and said.

"Damn it, don’t act all mysterious, hurry up and show me, or I won’t let you go," Lanzai said discontentedly.

"Alright, since you want it so badly, here you go." Lin Mu said, then punched Lanzai in the face.

"Oh my god."

Lanzai screamed, as a mouthful of blood and a few teeth flew out. That punch from Lin Mu was solid and powerful, knocking out at least one of Lanzai’s teeth.

"Haha, how is it? Isn’t it good stuff? Feeling comfortable?" Lin Mu asked with a grin.

Lanzai clutched his mouth, glaring at Lin Mu, but clearly couldn’t speak; having lost his front teeth, he’d just whistle if he tried.

"Damn it, you dare hit my brother! Let’s get him, guys!" shouted a few Lanzai standing nearby, then rushed at Lin Mu.

"Haha, since you all want some too, let me give each of you a taste," Lin Mu said with a grin, then quickly threw a few punches, causing the Lanzai who charged at him to fall under his mesmerizing Iron Fist.

The Lanzai, hit by this mesmerizing punch, indeed felt the allure, all screaming in pain and clutching their mouths as they fell to the ground.

"Haha, satisfied now?" Lin Mu laughed and spread his hands.

At this moment, the sound of police sirens came from behind.

Watching the rapidly approaching police cars, Lin Mu chuckled. As he speculated, the roadblock was just a setup; he knew it for sure.

In a flash, two police cars pulled up beside Lin Mu, and several officers got out.

Among them, Lin Mu recognized a few, and leading them was none other than Inspector Zhao, whom he’d seen earlier.

After getting out of the car, Inspector Zhao glanced at the three Lanzai lying on the ground, then at Lin Mu, and said coldly, "You again?"

"Haha, are you going to say it’s a small world?" Lin Mu glanced at Inspector Zhao with a smile. From the moment the police cars arrived, Lin Mu understood what Inspector Zhao was up to. Most likely, it was a setup by Inspector Zhao, intending to use the assault accusation to arrest him. After all, with these Lanzai lying here, it could look like solid evidence. If it was an ordinary person, they would indeed be caught by Inspector Zhao, as ordinary people wouldn’t dare resist arrest and likely wouldn’t have the means to. It seemed like this wasn’t the first time Inspector Zhao used this method to catch those he disliked.

"Hmm, indeed a coincidence. If I’m not mistaken, you were the one who hit these people, right?" Inspector Zhao pointed at the Lanzai, who were covered in blood on the ground, and said.

Lin Mu didn’t bother to hide it; there was no need to hide. Was he supposed to be afraid of a small-town cop? That would be the funniest joke under the sun.

"Yeah, I did. You’re smart," Lin Mu said with a slight smile, unconcerned.

"Haha, good to admit it; let’s go, with me back to the station. This level of injury can be considered minor harm," Inspector Zhao said to Lin Mu.

"Inspector Zhao, I think you’re mistaken. These guys tried to rob me, and I acted in self-defense. If you’re going to arrest someone, it should be them. I have things to do, so I’m leaving," Lin Mu said with a smile.

"Leave? You think you can just walk away like that? I don’t care if they tried to rob you or not. Bottom line is, you hurt them, so you must come back to the station for investigation and punishment," Inspector Zhao said to Lin Mu, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.

"Haha, sorry, but I’m not going with you today," Lin Mu said discontentedly. Did Inspector Zhao really think he was someone important? Even if he was the chief, the mayor, or the party secretary, if Lin Mu wanted to ignore him, he would. If Lin Mu didn’t, they could go to hell.

Hearing this, Inspector Zhao was clearly more irritated. Daring to speak to him like that was tantamount to seeking death. Usually, anyone who spoke to him this way was either an idiot or insane.

Evidently, Inspector Zhao pegged Lin Mu as an idiot, the kind looking for a thrashing.

With Lin Mu’s words, Inspector Zhao was even more determined to teach him a lesson. If he didn’t, where would his authority be? His status?

After all, he was a squad leader; who wouldn’t show him some respect? Even if they didn’t, they shouldn’t act smug in front of him, should they?
