Royal Palace Dining Room in the Kingdom of Merdia.

It should be taken for granted. It is divided between the general servant and the cafeteria used by knights and noblemen, but the dishes served may be together because there is only one kitchen.

This also means that nobles can afford to serve convincing levels of cooking to servants for now.

More recently, recipes have grown due to the influence of some Japanese active in the northern Dwarf kingdom, with occasional belly-up princes eating in the face of knights and soldiers disputed.

"And I thought you would die."

"Obnoxious."

In a seat at the edge of such a busy dining room, Mr. Caorle, finally freed from the regiment leader, was ramming onto the table.

On the front is Mr. Dillett, who's eating trendy seafood pasta.

I'm working for Mr. Caorle for once, but my attention is going to 80% pasta.

By the way, death became quite a fight, but the tense captain released his magic and the squad ground collapsed, so Grace took him to finish.

Mr. Caorle burned a little, but only with minor injuries.

It seems less defensive than Onei's, but it's also odd to just end up scorched with a level of indiscriminate bombing that causes the practice fields to collapse.

"That? Where did the seniors go?

"You said you had something to do."

"That's crazy. I can't believe that guy left things halfway."

It was Mr. Caorle who wondered what he was going to do if this curious mermaid went away somewhere, but Onei saw Mr. Dillette's plethora of food in Onei and this kid would leave the field because he was sure he wouldn't move while he was eating.

And as far as Mr. Dillett, who lays about five plates in front of him, that's probably correct.

"Why don't you order some caorle, too? There's a lot of food I've never seen before."

"Is there a menu, not uniform? It's a fancy dining room."

When prompted Mr. Caorle looks at the item writing placed in the center of the table, it does contain the names and brief descriptions of the various dishes.

"... Something I've seen. My name is Flirting."

And those dishes, besides the ones I've never seen before but can generally predict, obviously have descriptions on top of the names I've seen and found out.

Needless to say, this is an increased menu at the request of the knights, who have eaten a variety of dishes as well as curries in Mr. Jouzou's shop.

There are several kitchen cooks visiting under Mr. Jouzou for that menu, and Mr. Jouzou's influence over the Kingdom of Merdia has grown in vain.

"Why don't you just order it?"

On his way up to the counter, Mr. Caorle informs his slightly fat aunt of his order and receives a dish that came out unexpectedly early.

I ordered shrimp doria.

It's not Japanese food, but it can actually be a dish devised by a Swiss cook who worked in Japan.

Don't do it, Swiss.

"I'll take it."

And when I get back to my seat, I start eating with my hands together, Mr. Caorle.

The cheese has a stronger smell than the Japanese one, but the shrimp will tear up the prickly meat and spread a good flavor in your mouth every time you chew on whether you're using something fresh or not.

"……… shrimp"

And Mr. Dillett, who looks at Mr. Caorle like he's eating.

You know, you're about to get stuck saying you've had enough, but when you see people eating it, you can't help but want to eat it yourself.

"……… Do you want some?"

"Yeah. Eat"

Mr. Caorle, who offers shrimp doria to lose to that gaze, and Mr. Dillett, who receives it with his eyes shining.

Needless to say, I said a little and they ate nearly half of it.

"Well. You know what?"

in the meadow behind King Merdia Capital. The one who nods with some satisfaction is Kagato, a Japanese magician who attends the School of Magic.

At the end of his gaze is a palm-sized odd object like a half-fish man in a gutsy pose.

It's disastrous that the SAN values are going to be sharpened if you look at them.

"Long time no see, Kagato."

"Wow!?

Suddenly I was whispered in my ear and Kagato-kun literally jumped up.

I looked back in surprise. There was a smiling Onei figure.

Predators took my back. It's a kagato-kun pinch.

"Oh, it's been a while, Mr. National Student."

"Yeah. So, what are you doing? Though it seems like they're installing something that's hard to name."

"Oh. This is a landmark for metastatic magic."

"…… This is it?

I thought you were even cursing in people's gardens, Oneye says like you clapped it out.

But checking again doesn't change the disastrous nature of something that seems profound.

"Uh, I could have created metastatic magic, but there's still a problem, and it's dangerous when people are at their destination. So I asked someone I know to make something that would mark me but keep people away......"

"... I'm sure this won't get any closer."

It's a level I don't want to approach if they tell me to remove it.

Rather, what kind of punishment game would using metastatic magic result in flying for this or something?

"But why are you setting that up near Wang's capital?"

"It's for experimenting with how far metastatic magic can be used. I thought I'd go back and forth with Fitzgard."

"Hmm. I see."

Onei looks up at the sky saying so, but he realizes something and turns back to Kagato-kun.

"When you say metastatic magic, it actually flies through the sky, right?

"Huh? Yes. So when I used it at the same time, I was adjusting not to collide in the air."

"If you're flying from Merdia to Fitzgard, of course you're going to pass over Mount Dragon King, but aren't you going to get shot down by a dragon?

……

Kagato blues when he hears what Onei has to say.

Apparently, I wasn't thinking about that possibility at all.

"…… With safety in mind, the speed was modest, but the dragon will improve to accelerate beyond catching up."

"Yes. Well, good luck with that."

That's how the unconscious suicide attempt was stopped by Onei's hands, and Kagato-kun went back to Fitzgard by road.

The other world is still peaceful today.
