The Traveling Hero Won’t Let the Innkeeper’s Son Escape
Lord Knights of the King's Capital has a fiancée's maiden...... should be 25 (end)
Though dazzled by the day that floated in the sky, Ruth slapped his cheek and turned his gaze together lining up in front of the inn.
"Well, thank you for your help. Thank you very much."
"Welcome, thank you."
The Knights salute beautifully in Maxim's decree and lower their heads with Rossa so as to imitate it.
Today is finally the day for the Knights to return to the King's Capital. They will use the horse for about four days to repeat the wild boarding house and have to go back. The road is never easy either, so I really appreciate you coming.
Sometimes early in the morning, when Celine was handing over a meal for the day and night to her deputy, Maxim, dressed in a formal dress, came to Ruth.
Good morning, Lord Ruth.
"Good morning. Mr. Maxim. Did you sleep well yesterday?
"Uh... oh, of course! My days at this inn were comfortable."
"Good."
He looks a little complicated for some reason, Maxim, but his complexion is as usual, so he doesn't seem ill. The eyes staring at Ruth as usual are refreshing and very gentle.
"Speaking of which, Mr. Maxim, didn't we have something to talk about yesterday?
"Ah..."
"Knight Commander - can I go?
When Ruth questioned him, a deputy called out, apparently ready. Maxim turns a strong gaze at Ruth as he says, "I'm going now".
"Lord Ruth, I will write to you. So can I get back to you?
"Is that true? Of course, I'm looking forward to it."
"Then, when I can afford the job, I hope I can take a vacation and come and see you here. Can you teach me how to hunt then?
"Yes! I'll teach you how to get Boreal direct from Hashi Village!
"Then..."
"And then?"
After a few words, Maxim remained silent for a moment and eventually stared at Ruth with his determined eyes.
"Sooner or later, could you please make me more than“ acquaintance ”?
"- Right, a good and admirable acquaintance, I guess"
The words that Alec and Maxim spoke yesterday come back to Ruth's head. Ruth thought it would be a good idea for the son of an innkeeper in such a peripheral village to name a friend against the Knights Commander of the Wang Capital, but maybe Maxim remembered to catch on to that word.
Ruth grinned nicely at Maxim.
"Um, if you don't like it, be friends with me"
I laughed a little bitterly at Ruth's words I offered her my right hand, but Maxim nodded hard when he held my hand.
"Of course. Please start with a friend."
"First?"
"Captain - if you're bringing it, you won't be able to make it to the meeting in five days!
As Ruth tilted her neck, she heard a member of the Knights already heading towards the entrance. Maxim sighed small, taking Ruth's hand to his mouth in a natural motion and gently mouthing it to his armor.
"Lord Ruth. I look forward to seeing you again. Now, if you'll excuse me."
With that said, Maxim flipped his cape and pulled his horse and ran to his companions. And the six of them quickly became invisible.
The three remaining innkeepers dropped off their hindsight for a while.
"... Ruth, are you going to the King's Capital to marry me?
"I wasn't thinking about dowry…… what about you, the successor to the store?
Ruth looks back in haste when she finally returns to reality when she hears her parents, who were resurrected earlier, begin to talk about the future.
"- Hey, hey! Don't take Mr. Maxim's full joke seriously, father or mother!
Maxim was Ruth who surprised himself with a bit of a dodgy whilst not wanting to do anything outrageous when he left.
