The Traveling Hero Won’t Let the Innkeeper’s Son Escape

The brave man who has lost his power will be resurrected with friendship with his companions... should be twenty

Alec approached Curtis and the others talking in front of the door with a big crotch as he rubbed his face with both hands.

"We're not talking. Let's get in the room. It's not about opening the door."

I was forced to push them into the room while I said that.

Ruth jumped into the room before the door closed because she didn't want to say her name again, not knowing how to judge what was going on. Sometimes it was originally a small warehouse, and Alec's room was quite cramped for four men to enter.

Alec was sitting on the right bed facing him, Curtis was looking at a book lined up on one side of the left wall, and Garcia was opening a drawer on Alec's desk. Ruth decided to stand at the entrance and see how the three of them were doing because they were going to get in the way if they moved too much. I've visited Alec's room many times, so I'm free because I don't have anything novel.

"That's a lot of books...... I was a little surprised. Magic, spirits, farm tools, weapons, weapons, history…… all serious books."

"There doesn't seem to be anything particularly weird in the desk either...... it's just like a magic related experimental notebook or something"

"What are you guys looking for………"

Alec stares at both of the thieves as they look for their homes, holding their heads between their eyebrows as if they were hurting.

But Ruth feels the same way about Garcia. Alec's room has nothing extra than what I don't think Ruth is the same age. Of course, I may not be able to buy extra things because I grew up in church, but I felt that was not the only reason because there was crap around the bed of Bird growing up in church as well.

The orphans who live in the church in Hashi village in the first place do not have any difficulty with what they eat that day, either because of the people of the priests or because of their deeds, and their living standards are not very different from those of the children around them. I may not be able to afford the luxury, but with the help of a store in the village, I get a penny, and I'm basically free except for the help of a church.

(I guess it's thanks to the village chief, too)

The village chief of Hashi village, Bartolo, appears keen and greedy, taking the initiative in providing support to the Church. Monetary aspects also include the hemming of food items, so if all the villagers who are looking at it can afford it as a matter of course, take the hemming to the church. Instead, the priest doesn't take money when healing the injured, and he naturally educates his children. Thanks to a happy relationship for both in that way, the village orphans will have much more options for the future than the urban children.

(So it's not like Alec can't afford any money either, right?)

That's why Alec also helps with the village and gets some wages. So it's possible to buy as much extra stuff as you want. But Ruth knows that Clark, who has been asked to buy from Wang Du, has almost turned the money around to the books as well.

(Alec is really serious……)

Magic and swordsmanship arms are picky. Because of this, it looks like a complete genius skin (I guess it's a genius because I'm actually a brave man), but there are some parts that are surprisingly industrious, and I don't take pride in not failing to study. Even the farming tools asked for by the villagers are not made with the idea of sudden flickering, but after proper study. He just looks like it's no big deal because he doesn't like to be known to others about it. Maybe he thinks, 'If they find out you're making an effort, they lose' or something. But Ruth, who has been on his side for a long time, knows such Alec's efforts.

(..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

On the other hand, I wish I had told you honestly, and Ruth was always on my side wondering if I could help her out with such a cute Alec. Because of this, even if it's a slightly weird wish, I think, "Because I'm working hard in the shadows," and I want to make it happen.

(... Oh, I'm getting a little embarrassed)

I feel like digging and filling holes in my own too unconscious behavior.

Towards a friend of a man stronger than himself, there wouldn't be 'cute' or anything normal about it. Even if I ever smile, I've never held a 'cute' other than Alec that makes my chest bitter. Aware of that fact, I get bored.

"Speaking of which, Alec, how was your brave correction talent?

"Ahhhh... That hasn't changed."

"Oh, Ruth, is this the first time in the last three days that you've been acting with me but the numbers haven't changed? You were right with him, weren't you?

"We were together. It was an inventory of products."

"Inventory, not much conversation or interaction, so is that why around...... hmm"

As Curtis and I had such a conversation, Garcia finally started fishing for Alec's sitting bed. He pushes himself against the wall and peers into the gap by rolling a duvet over a simple bed made of wood.

"Hey, don't flip it, what are you doing"

"If you're not in a normal place, you're hiding it."

"What?"

"Well, that's something you want to hide... a journal book, a horny novel book you can't see"

"Garcia, it doesn't seem to be in the back of the book, so I think the rest will be confirmed in that bed."

"You guys, that's what this is all about!

Apparently, they wanted to find Alec's secret.

(Well, that's what I thought)

I was always concerned that the two of them who would only act with Alec were oddly strained, but that seems to be the case. However, I could tell from the way the three of them were joking about half of the time.

By the way, Ruth received a sensual novel from Clark a long time ago, but he had become a charcoal cusp at some point, so he decided not to. At the time, the odd phenomenon suddenly happened and it turned blue in the dual sense that someone might have seen the embarrassing concealment, but the killer can tell now.

(Mr. Garcia, Mr. Curtis, come on!

Ruth backed the two in her mind.

"Hey, come on, man."

"It's okay. Don't be surprised if I see anything"

"We're on your side, Alec."

"It's a good thing I'm saying. It's the wind, but you guys just want to have fun!

Apparently he noticed Garcia and the others' purpose, Alec just stopped watching, and gets on his knees on the bed. With Garcia turning up the duvet, Alec, who was physically disadvantaged, struck the wall behind him many times. Of course we can't break the church, so I guess we're both out of touch enough.

And the moment Alec slammed the wall three times, the place he was suddenly touching began to glow.

"Eh?"

"What?"

The demon squares rise from the glowing place and the place that was the wall moves unnaturally. And when the magic team disappeared from the spot, something like a single row of bookshelves buried in the wall appeared in the place. There were like ten notebooks lined up there.

"Hidden shelves with magic! That's Alec!

"No, I remember this......" Wait, wait! Don't reach out on your own!

Alec shook it off in a hurry as Garcia tried to get the notebook on the shelf. I wouldn't like to be able to take the liberty of looking at a book that's just on a hidden shelf.

(hey, it really happened)

Ruth has come to this room many times too, but I didn't know there was a hidden shelf in such a place. So I'm wondering what something like that notebook is. There's a different vibe to the novel that Ruth got from Clark.

"What is it, what have you got there? You've come this far. Tell me."

"From what I've seen, it's more like a notebook than a book. Is that a diary?

"No, I told you... I remember hiding this..."

That's how Alec shrugged in confusion, and their gaze was directed at Ruth. You know what? Ruth shook her head in the face.

"I've never heard of a hidden shelf like that before."

"Ruth, you don't know either."

"If that's the case, it's all the more suspicious...... Alec, can I look inside?

"You've decided no!

"Well, look at you. So, tell us as much as you can, and I'll convince you."

"Why do I have to convince you guys!

"Curtis, I asked you to prepare."

"You're more agile with Garcia and blunt-footed with Alec. Immediately..."

"- Oh, no! …… I'll confirm."

The two fun kids like they found a toy encourage Alec to read inside quickly as they nibble. Alec reached out to the book on the left, which seemed the newest without concealing such feelings as reluctance, and turned his back and opened the page. I'm sure they would have given up if they didn't pull it off.

"-"

However, as soon as Alec ran his eyes on that page, the annoying atmosphere earlier disappeared and something incredible appeared. Later, his grumpy face gradually became red and his body began to tremble slightly. But only the gaze movement doesn't stop, it seems, following the text inside. It's like I can't keep my eyes open.

(I wonder what's wrong, Alec)

Eyes on the reactions that even Ruth rarely sees, with Garcia and his equally bewildered expression, before coming a little closer and speaking to Alec.

"Alec, what's wrong -"

"- Ugh, whoa, whoa!

But the moment Ruth spoke up, he shouted as if he had encountered a haunting. And the moment he put Ruth in his sight, his face, which was slightly red, burned bright red like a volcano erupted, and Alec closed his notebook so as to slap it, pressing the notebook onto his body as if it were sincerely important. Too powerful or thick notebooks are so bizarre that they are bent.

"Chi, chi…………………"

"Chi?"

"Don't come any closer!

"…… What? Oh, why?

When Ruth looked surprised at the sudden rejection, Alec held his temples down like a headache for some reason, but immediately moved to shake off something with a blurb to the left and right. It was in Ruth's eyes that the golden glow that surrounded him at the same time grew buzzy.

"Ugh... but it's over! Shit! You guys get out of the room!

Alec started kicking Ruth and the others out when he said so. It's a small room, so Garcia is forced to use her shield to push her body, and Ruth quickly leaves the hallway. And when he confirmed that the three of them had left, Alec closed the door.

"Hey, Alec. What's wrong all of a sudden?

"Hey, open up. Alec! Oh, my God, you're so smart on the door."

They try to open it again as they say the word, but this time the door never opened even after the sound of unlocking. Apparently, Alec has closed the door because of some sorcery or something. Of course, Alec's response never resonates from within.

"I think I found out about that reaction."

"Yeah, you must have found out. Isn't this just the right time? We seem to be getting along."

Garcia and the others were a little frightened, but they didn't seem particularly suspicious about Alec's current behavior. He had a rather relieved look on his face.

Looking at that, Ruth remembered what Alec had just said.

"Did I do something……?

Ruth, who had first received Alec's clear rejection of 'stay away', was too surprised and dismayed. I guess I should have been hurt or something, but Alec's attitude was so weird that I'm worried that he'd done something the other way around.

"Ah, Mr. Ruth! No, you're not. I'm sure you're blindfolded, so I'm just confused, and I don't really want to keep you away."

"Ah, Yes."

"Oh, I am, because I have become aware of you. I thought we were friends, and I'm confused because I knew I had evil feelings for you."

"What do you mean, you found out?

Garcia and the others start talking in a strange panic about whether they thought Ruth was hurt.

He said that the note Alec had hidden would be a diary or something with personal feelings for Ruth. Above all, it seems that Alec didn't recognize the existence of the notebook. So I knew my previous thoughts, and I became intensely aware of Ruth and panicked. That statement about Ruth was therefore an action, and he was surprised but not disgusted, so he was rather aware of it in a good way. That's just like before you lost your memory.

(... Is that what happened?

But Ruth, who had never tried to hide Alec's illumination, couldn't tell if his current actions were heading in the direction they expected. Because Alec was always honest with Ruth. Normally, I can't tell what happened in Alec when I blushed and panicked like that because I'm the kind of person who would be fine with saying things that are not to say.

But I couldn't say that when I saw the two of them desperately trying to comfort me, thinking Ruth was hurt, and all I could do was smile ambiguously.
