The Traveling Hero Won’t Let the Innkeeper’s Son Escape
Son of the Spirit King can be selfish all you want...... should be 32
The two of them leaving the guest room upstairs were walking down the hallway on the ground floor. To go to the library where Dorthe taught us about Tiana.
"I absorb all shadow demons?
"Yes, I think that's the only way in this mansion right now to influence the makers of this world."
In his eleven repetitions, Ed didn't do anything. He searched for an exit, tried to escape, and sometimes saved Tiana's life. But no matter what I did, I couldn't change the course of this world. I'm sure you can't do it the right way.
Then using Ed's power, "Magic Absorption Capability," which producers in this world shouldn't have imagined, could create an unscheduled dustpan. I just have to bet there.
"So if you don't absorb all the shadow demons and get into the darkness... maybe you'll stop repeating it? Will it work like that?
"Even I don't think it's going to be that easy. But I can't find another way out of the current flow. The only thing that can make a difference, Ed's ability is the only hope he has right now. How about that? Can you do that?
"Am I the only one…"
Ed looked a little surprised, but immediately looked up at Ruth.
Rather, he seems happy to finally be able to play a role.
"Okay. I'll try."
"Thanks."
"So, what does the game tournament have to do with anything?
"Oh, you don't want to play anything, do you? The reason is simple, because I want everyone to be in the same place when the Shadow Demon shows up. I just want a name to get together, so I don't care if it's a recital or something."
"I see. If we're all in a piecemeal place, the target could be hit before I absorb it. It's an operation to collect them in one place in advance."
"That sort of thing"
Given the sudden appearance of the Shadow Demon before Ruth the last time, it is probably the ability of the Shadow Demon to appear in front of the intended person from the beginning, rather than appear once in the same place and then scatter. Therefore, given Ed's ability to absorb all of the Shadow Demons, it is necessary to gather them in one place.
"So I came up with a game tournament, and the problem is that Tiana, the little one, is the 'reason' for allowing me to stay awake until that time... nothing, Ed?
"Even if they say something...... surely in that little kid, they're going to put him back in his room right after dinner and put him to bed. In fact, I was told not to get up late at home. There will be little reason to allow you to stay up late.... What about telling everyone about the existence of the Shadow Demon?
"I've been thinking about that too... there's a problem with you believing the story that we didn't even clap, and Grandpa Iban is the necklace."
Daniel's grandfather Iban is an old man who is so bloody willing to go hunting alone that year. Even during last year's demon mowing, he was following the Knights Commander Maxim and joining the Surprise Squad.
For this reason, I don't think Ruth or Ed, the child, will know the existence of a “terrible demon" that I can't rely on, and he won't move.
"Honestly, Grandpa Iban is strong, but I don't think he can beat that shadow demon. They'll probably fly off and kill you first. And then you can't keep your time back."
Even if we had to be able to get out of this world, if someone had died by then, we wouldn't know if they were alive after waking up. I didn't wake up because my spirit was dead, what a possibility. So I wanted to lead things to a solution as long as possible with everyone alive.
"If that's the case, the plan is broken… but then Iban needs to be vigilant in his actions."
"He's a good guy, but he's got too much blood... Daniel had his head too"
Iban seems to like to preach to Daniel, and even though he said 'he's adorable,' he always complained of bumping into each other saying 'that's terrific'.
But surely if Ruth had actually preached himself, he wouldn't think he was adored. But after going hunting with Daniel, I know he just can't be honest because every time Iban confirms his grandson's activity.
"But either way, I have to ask Mr. Iban to take care of me. I don't care if they move me where I was gathered."
"Oh, once I have an operation on that...... and that?
"What is it?
As I was walking with Ed, I went out to the blowout section on the ground floor on my way to the library. But Ruth noticed that there was no more of what was supposed to be in the place.
"…… the stone statue of the Spirit King is missing?
"Yeah, really."
Stone statue imitating Ed's father and spirit king who was placed in the blowout. That was gone.
It's just decorated with portraits of Natasha that weren't there last time.
"Has this ever happened?
"No, there isn't... or there was something wrong last time."
"Last time?
"Yes, I've never had a stone statue of my father there before."
Ed said he hasn't put any stone statues of the Spirit King before. He never even saw the presence of the Spirit King in this mansion in the first place.
(Could that have caused Mr. Dickhout to look strange? "I wonder if there was a stone statue"?
Ruth went straight to the library with Ed, even as he questioned the stone statue of the Spirit King.
------------
When I got to a library almost the same size as the guest room, I heard a little girl.
I wonder if you're slowly reading the story, and that voice even feels as if you're singing. It sounds strange.
(I'm sure this is Tiana, do you also like the song because of this feeling?
When Ruth was thinking about it, she noticed that Ed next door looked difficult.
"What's wrong, Ed?
"No,... this song, somewhere..."
"You've heard of it?
"Yes. But I can't remember where I heard it.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Let's go to her after the song."
"Shall we?"
The two of them look for Tiana and go back. Walking in a room lined with old wooden bookshelves that I couldn't even find a chair or a desk, I found Tiana sitting on top of a lot of cushions in the back of the room reading a big book. I thought this was her secret base when I saw her carpeting just one corner of it and putting books for children around her dolls and blankets.
"Hello, Miss Tiana"
When Ruth hung her voice over her back, Tiana, who seemed to be reading the book as she sang, took the leg she was shaking to perfection. And I peered my face from the other side of the book.
"Ah, strawberry sister"
Tiana, who saw Ruth, turned a nickel and smile at me. From the first time I saw him, he relieved me of my guard.
When I ask him if he can stop by, he replies cutely with Cocun. While thanking you, I approached Tiana's secret base with Ed.
"What book were you reading?
"Lee and Monit's bokum........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
"Is this" The Adventures of Lee and Monit, "the first time you've heard of it. Does Ed know?
"No, me too... I don't remember reading much for kids in the first place..."
"Right.... Lady Tiana, can you tell me what kind of story you'd like to talk about?
"Yeah. Fine. Become."
Tiana invited Ruth and the others next door to tell us what the book was about to read. I guess I've read it over and over already, it's so adorable to show Ruth and the others the book paintings and teach them so hard with awkward words. The last time I looked at her, she only looked grumpy, so I thought she could make such a childish face.
Ruth gaveled at Tiana as she talked. Ruth had never read any of the books she spoke of, but she told me enough because she spoke so hard. None of them are child-friendly.
"Hey, Ruth, do you want all the letters?
"Right. You're an adult at once, so you can read some, right?
"Really!? Then I have a book I want you to enjoy!
Tiana was perfectly alert and asked for Ruth's name. She took one out of the pile of books on her side and gave it to Ruth.
"It's in this book, in your father's navel, in Benno's navel and in everyone's navel. But I don't want to be rude."
"Is that so? So, if I... that?
"……… Ruth, what is it?
"Oh, no..."
What Tiana had given me was a 'happy afternoon' that Ruth also knew.
I used it to cut my hand earlier, but I know the contents because I read the contents last time. It wouldn't be a problem to read to children.
"I didn't expect to see this book again…………."
"Sister, stop?
"Oh, yes. You can read it. Then I'll read it."
Trying to read it by leaning over to the bookcase behind her, Tiana came closer and sat down to peek at the book beside Ruth. Surely this would be better to see the painting.
Keeping Tiana on the side, Ruth starts reading the story slowly with a voice. But as the story progressed, Tiana was not sitting on the side, but in a position to cling to Ruth's arm. I thought it was a mediocre story, but I guess it's funny enough for Tiana to want to focus.
As I kept reading as I leaned so physically towards Tiana, Ed, who was sitting in the front looking uninterested, now lowered his back next to Ruth opposite Tiana. He leans on Ruth the same way as he does.
(I wonder if Ed wanted to hear it nearby too...... haha, they're both adorable)
If this is not the case, I feel like reading as many books as I can.
And when they pinched me and I finished reading my little body temperature to the left and right, I realized Ed looked sleepy.
"Here's the story, it's a bit lacking in fun, isn't it? mediocre……………."
"Ed, I won't say that......"
Ruth learned the same feeling, but it wouldn't be a bit nice to say that in front of Tiana, who looks like she's enjoying herself. I'm going to water my mood.
(Well, for sure...... books like this, why is it all over the mansion)
Honestly, 'Happy Afternoon' is a normal story to a level I don't really understand making it into a book. The characters are also difficult to emote because they are described as single daughters, husbands, butlers, maids, cooks, gardeners, women, and younger brothers, and it is easy to feel like they are reading a script because the way they write is closer to writing than to a novel.
However, in this world, where cultural development is still pending, this book is not the only one that is special because there are some of these readings. That's why I think Ruth would be like this, too.
Tiana reacted differently though.
"……… good."
"'Nice,' what?
When Ruth peeks into Tiana on the right and asks questions, Tiana had a look full of dissatisfaction like she had seen in the dining room before.
"... because this“ Alone "is being eaten by everyone..."
Tiana pointed to the illustration depicting her only daughter delighted in front of the hall cake. Awkward illustration, but the happy air conveys.
"Didn't Lady Tiana have everyone to celebrate, too?
"No…… mon"
"Eh? Is it true?"
"Really. I'm not lying."
Ruth couldn't believe Tiana's words a bit. Because Ruth and the others have seen and know Tiana is being taken care of in this mansion. His father was more worried about how Tiana was losing her health than she was before, and he was trying to help Ruth and the others, who were outsiders to do something about it. I couldn't believe I'd never celebrated her birthday, even though I cared so much.
"Dad, it's always every day. I don't even have cake. Always just a gift of good morning…………………"
Tiana said so, puking her cheeks swollen and clinging to Ruth's arm.
(Maybe Tiana...... did you always miss her? He was running away from us because he wanted us to deal with him...?
Tiana felt angry because of her expression, but Ruth's attitude to clinging to her arm also seemed sad. He says he's losing his mother, and he really wants his father to care more. The attitude that seemed abrupt before was probably also an indication of those feelings.
