The Traveling Hero Won’t Let the Innkeeper’s Son Escape
[Outside] The Forward Future of the Braves, Part I
Alec and the others were a little nervous behind the village of the Leion, in front of their destination.
(Natasha Dickhout... I thought I had a name somewhere, but I didn't know she was Kevin's wife)
Alec and the others have been looking for someone for some time. His name is Kevin Dickhout. He's a man involved in a certain research, which has appeared in quite old material. Though supposedly dead a long time ago, the Aleks needed to look into the research he was involved in and were looking for the location of the mansion.
I found out that the man was deeply involved with the Leion tribe, and it was about a week ago that I started my investigation. As we looked into it, it turns out that a Leion village hid the Dickhout family in the depths of the village for Kevin's family. Apparently something used to happen and the Layons owed Kevin a lot.
But Dickhout's mansion wasn't just hidden. It existed in the woods, but I didn't see its appearance, and when I tried to get close, I was in a hell of a state where I would be cursed to do my spirit. The Leion tribes also, no matter what they used to be, were now 'hiding it for them' before they built it, and even forbade the Mansion to be worded as a cursed land. That's why Alec's investigation was so difficult to navigate.
But such a cursed mansion appeared again in the woods. Just around the corner where Alec returned to his original appearance and once returned to the village of the Leion tribe.
(Imagine, because Ruth was able to engage Natasha and weaken that woman. Damn, does Ruth really think it's a good time every time... I want you to stop getting caught up in this, but it's also true that it's helping)
Alec looks reluctant by accident. This is the second time the Aleks have been stuck in something and thanks to Ruth we have found a solution. Add the Spirit King's Trial for the third time. Because of that, I was worried but had a hard time saying it loudly.
Returning to the story, to the house of curses that suddenly appeared, the villages of the Leion tribe became noisy.
That place is a land my ancestors told me not to unseal, because they didn't know what was sleeping in the first place.
Among the frightened Leion tribes, it was the Aleks who had recently come to the city and earned the trust of the inhabitants of the village in various places who wanted to embark on the investigation.
Alec and the others had already spooked the people they cared for not to be of the same race. But they even offered to cooperate by thanking Alec and the others. There was such a push, and Alec and I honestly told him that we were brave because this was the time and that we were exploring the reasons for the melting demonization phenomenon that is happening in the world today.
The village also made a little noise at first about Alec and the others showing their original appearance, but if we honestly apologize for hiding who they were, the people who helped shelter them and eventually no one left the Leion tribe to criticize them.
In the form of an eventual request to the inhabitants of the village, Alec and the others had come in front of the Dickhout family mansion with dignity.
By the way, the line is from the Leion tribe, back to the original human being. I didn't need to go back to that look anymore. When it comes to language in the first place, some of the Layons can speak human language, so they can communicate even if they're not there.
"That's big..."
"Oh. I heard about the mansion, but it's bigger than I thought. Curtis, does the curse thing look okay to you?
"Yeah, the curse has already been lifted. There's not even a trace of the demon squares. Fana, is there any kind of trap?
"Mm-hmm. That doesn't seem to be the case either. Moore, how are the signs of the molten demon?
"There's no sign of a melting demon at all. But because it was sealed, I feel the air is different. Maybe the mansion stays the same for hundreds of years."
"Well, let's be a little careful. Then let's go."
Alec cuts ahead and opens the gate. Through the garden as if it had been maintained until yesterday, a large entrance door was opened.
"What…… is this?
Eliza couldn't help but raise her voice. At first glance the exterior was a normal mansion, but inside it was rough with tears, and there were a number of signs as if there had been a dispute earlier.
"Looks like something happened..."
"Hey, isn't it blood flying on the wall?
Fana was right, what was on the wall was blood. It's as if there was a case hours ago and it was preserved as it was.
"It seems that this mansion was also subjected to the magic of disappearing, the magic of cursing, and then the magic of stopping time……"
"Why did you even do that?
"Come on, I don't know that either"
"Come on, isn't it just a mansion..."
"I guess. Fana, do you have any sign of people?
"Yeah. There are signs that someone is alive... but something... smells like dark blood"
"Smells like blood?
"It still feels warm, with a slight smell of blood coming from the back………"
Alec and the others headed to the back of the ground floor where Fana pointed. There were signs of strife there as we headed to the back room. Doesn't look like just a mansion to me. Alec and the others proceeded vigilantly.
"There, people are falling!
When I found a person's back lying in the corner of the hallway, Eliza rushed over immediately. But the voice that tried to hang on the person turns into a scream.
"What's wrong!?
"Ah, Dear Alec..."
Alec leaned back on the person Eliza, who had half-cryed, pointed to - a big man who was falling down.
"Huh..."
"Whew!
"This is..."
"Holy shit, Chi, that's miserable......"
"No, no, no, no, no.
The front side of the man did not leave the shape of a person. The bones had been crushed and the guts had been crushed, as they had been beaten many times with blunt instruments. If they had turned to the surface from the beginning, they might not have even recognized me as a person. It had been made so lame.
"You feel a strong willingness to resent... This man seemed quite resentful."
"Alec, there's blood over there."
"……… Let's go."
Alec and the others resumed their stroll through the mansion as they followed the traces of blood.
Proceeding to the back of the ground floor, proceed to the passage of the servants, where they remain in the kitchen, in the corridor opposite, in a room where trees and cabins unnaturally stand in a white space. I go upstairs and peek into the bedroom, the guest room, the children's room, everything. When Alec and the others finished looking upstairs, they went down the stairs and returned to the entrance hall.
"... eight bodies without remnants. What the hell happened?
"Like killing each other?
"But from the way you dress, you don't think you're from this mansion, do you? Eight people kill each other in someone else's house?
"I've never seen any protective equipment on their legs or arms, but it was uniform. I think we should think of it as some kind of group."
"There are eight non-residents of the mansion, which is also a uniform protective gear. when it comes to"
"These guys could be like thieves entering a mansion..."
That you can't see the inhabitants of the mansion, the traces of blood splashed around you, the bodies of eight people who can't possibly be there. No one can give me an answer, but it would be more reasonable to assume that the residents of the mansion were attacked by them because of the circumstances. And those who attacked him were also attacked by someone.
"Are you a thief…… but given Kevin Dickhout's background, I don't think money is the purpose."
"That's true. But the fact that they're dead means someone killed them, right?
"Where is he?
"Daimyo, I wonder if it's that room that didn't open, the center of the first floor"
"It was sealed, so you just put it behind you."
"Okay, there..."
Alec noticed the painting behind him, trying to turn his gaze to the people behind him.
To Alec, his companions look back in the same way.
"This is……"
What was ahead, Alec looked up, was a big portrait. A young child is smiling in the center, a woman with impressive redhead and mouth porcupine reaching to her waist on the right, and a man with a calm and flattering atmosphere on the left.
(............... well, is this redhead that woman... And this man......)
Alec smashed his tongue in a small way remembering his frustration. The sound didn't seem to be heard by the fellows staring up at the painting.
"... Is this a Dickhout family painting?
"Noble houses decorate portraits in prominent places.... but this guy on the left, I'm sure Kevin, right?
"That's right, I think...... you look like Mr. Ruth"
"They do look alike."
Man smiling calmly next to redhead woman Natasha. If I'm not mistaken, this man is the head of the Dickhout family, Kevin.
Its face and surrounding atmosphere - it looked just like Alec's precious lover, Ruth Blau, who was left in Hashi village. The difference is that the color of the hair and eyes is brown.
(Is this why the woman stuck with Ruth?)
Ruth said she didn't know why Natasha stuck to herself, but when she saw this, it was one shot. I guess I was overlapping Ruth with my own husband.
(Don't take Ruth personally and overlap with others!
I can't help but be angry when I feel like I've been treated in a mess with my precious Ruth.
"Ruth looks nothing like this man. Don't be silly, let's go."
Alec starts to descend the stairs again as he puts his uncontrollable anger through his words.
The fellow behind him was surprised for a moment by his cold voice, but he quickly turned into a bitter laugh because he knew how Alec felt about dropping by Ruth.
Head down the stairs to the sealed room.
Leaving it to Moore, who is good at cursing, managed to open it, though it took a few dozen minutes. Says he had a pretty strong seal on him, but that seemed like he could crack in and open it too. At the time the seal on the table was unsealed, I was wondering if it was slightly broken.
"We're coming in."
Now Garcia leads the way, while the guards go into the room. The indoors without light did not know what was going on because the darkness ruled them, but a strong odor drifted before I could get the light.
"Oh, what, this smell...... blood?
"You're stronger than the front door. Where's the source?
"Looks like the air's pretty cloudy too."
"This room was also affected by the seal of time, so maybe there is something..."
"All right, give me the light."
When Alec illuminated the room with magic, there was a situation there that far exceeded expectations.
"Damn, what is this!?
"Hey, what?"
"Shit..."
The spacious room like the hall had a large demonic formation written on the floor, where eight bodies lay.
They are all laid back with their hands together and neatly arranged in the center. There were still lots of blue flowers around. The appearance of lying in the flowers also seemed as if they were buried.
"It's okay. This demon squad isn't moving anymore."
Eliza runs out the earliest to Moore's voice. Alec and the others began to ask how the eight were doing at the same time.
"... I can't believe all those people are dead... even these little kids..."
I hand-in-hand checked and found that all eight were dead while remaining as vivid as they had been living until earlier.
Eliza sits on the mourning floor with eight deaths in front of her. Fana and Moore rushed over. For Eliza, whose mission is to save people, it will be hard to see the deaths of people that only the general public can see. There have been many times on the journey, but it's not something I'm used to.
"... a magnificent man in good clothes. This one's out of shape, butler, maid, cook, is this old man a gardener?... the four of you are servants. And a child in a dress... this one to a young woman, little boy. The two of us have a slightly different vibe. Maybe they're not from the mansion."
"Kevin, the owner of the mansion, and his daughter, four servants. And this is my sister and brother from another village who were coming to the mansion? Something like that...... I'm concerned that you don't have a wife who was painted in the portrait...... and it's a relentless attack. That's miserable......"
"Oh......"
Alec, Garcia and Curtis offer prayers and ask about the body.
Both bodies show signs of being beaten or slaughtered with a large weapon. There was a weapon on the side of the body that had rolled into the mansion until earlier, so I'm sure they did. You could barely resist.
"You mean when the villagers who aren't supposed to be in the mansion are coming, they raided you?... this villager's sister-in-law, you're not unhappy."
"I don't know about that either."
"What? What's the meaning of this?
"Raids after inviting others into the mansion. I hope it's a coincidence... I'm talking about it, Garcia."
"Aah…… a guide……… well, that's such a village girl, she must have been threatened by that group."
"It's likely enough, but either way, we don't know the truth. It's all a guess."
To Alec's sober words, Garcia looked sinister. When I put my head on like it was irritating, I sighed loudly. I can understand what Alec is saying, but I guess I'm not emotionally convinced.
"Kevin's body is badly damaged... at an indistinguishable level on his face"
It could have been fortunate for Alec not to recognize Kevin's face if he'd been beaten up quite a bit. Because if a man resembling Ruth had been made into this situation, he must have been somewhat upset, albeit by others.
"All hands and feet are missing fingertips. I don't know because I'm wearing clothes, but your body is also terrible because of the bleeding. You must have been pretty tightly tortured..."
"Does that thief's purpose still mean Kevin Dickhout"
"Yeah, there's a good chance he attacked the mansion trying to get some information from Kevin, who was head of research on the object Zagres."
"But before you got it,” another ”raider showed up. Those men may have grown into groes with a strong line of retaliation."
"If that's the case, you'll be worried about the wife of the Dickhout family who's not there."
"What? I mean, did that wife kill all the men and gather all the people in the mansion here and seal them? No, no, no... I usually just looked like a beautiful woman."
"But compared to the tragedy outside, this place is made very clean. The fact that the body is also properly clothed and even sidelined with flowers ensures that the person who did this had strong thoughts on them. Then I was wondering if it was likely my wife who was supposed to stay."
"We'll talk about that later. Either way, I can't save anyone anymore from what I just thought..."
To Alec's voice, Curtis and Garcia also stopped prying any further. Near the truth, no one has the art of bringing a dead human back to life. The voidness just spreads to your chest.
As Alec approached the women, he lowered his back as he watched Eliza sit back.
"Eliza, it's gonna be hard, but can you give him a prayer? I think if they pray to you, they'll be saved somewhat."
"Dear Alec... Oh, of course. That's why I'm here."
He was Eliza with a hard face, but when he could speak to Alec, he switched his expression and stood up. Go to the center of the room and be the face of the Virgin. The companions, relieved by the appearance, stopped at the wall to stay out of the way.
"Please give these people a peaceful sleep."
As Eliza spinned the words as she sang, she felt the heavy air that was indoors gradually purifying. More words of prayer, as well as warm light overflow from Eliza's body. As you are invited by it, a small light begins to appear on your face from the lying body. The small, weak light grew gradually, and as it floated, it began to head up.
