Chapter 1416 - 1412: From the Moment You Entered the Hall, One Foot Was Already on the Line of Death
The arrival of the goddess of the survival adventure world, Lian Ke, filled fans with anticipation for this episode’s variety show filming.

The rules were concise; besides revealing that each guest has three lives, the rest was pretty much left unsaid.
Constantine Stewart was the first to step into Century Park, and everyone exchanged glances before following suit.
After entering Century Park, there was a massive stone disk. The program team indicated for everyone to take the glass balls by the edge of the stone disk and throw them into the entrance to randomly determine which area to challenge.
The guests’ expressions changed slightly at the sight. Six areas, eight guests, which meant it could be a single-player challenge, or if lucky, they could form teams of three, all left to chance.
Constantine Stewart was the first to take a glass ball and throw it into the slot above the stone disk. The colorful glass ball bumped along the crisscrossed paths of the stone disk and finally landed in the fourth area—"The Vanishing Ghost Village."
The others also chose their areas to challenge, and in the end, Desmond Wood was lucky enough to team up with Constantine Stewart to tackle the Vanishing Ghost Village together.
Chloe Winston, William Zamora, and Lian Ke surprisingly all ended up in the same area—"The Fate’s Stargazer."

The program team provided everyone with a waiver signal flare, to be used when encountering danger to indicate giving up. The staff would quickly come to the rescue.
Only when everyone was holding their waiver flares did they recognize this wasn’t just an ordinary amusement park; it was a potentially deadly, large-scale thrilling experience gallery.
Having chosen their challenge areas, there was no time for further exchange as four vehicles slowly approached from the four tracks extending into the distance, urging everyone to embark and begin their challenges.
Chloe Winston quickly cast a glance; the four trains were engraved with the name of each area. For instance, Constantine Stewart’s "The Vanishing Ghost Village" had an entire ghost train, entirely black with a name adorned in vivid red paint, symbolizing blood and danger, while her train to the Fate’s Stargazer appeared much more beautiful, with a body featuring hexagrams.
The most visually appealing was Vicky Webb’s train, "The Castle of the Gods’ Arrival," with an exquisite design reminiscent of a Middle Ages castle.
Lian Ke was the first to board, followed by William Zamora. Chloe, who wasn’t familiar with these two, boarded carrying her bag and chose a seat at the very back of the train.
William Zamora and Lian Ke had already started an enthusiastic conversation.
"Let’s Fall in Love" masquerades as a romance survival variety show featuring a film emperor, a big shot, a musical genius, and a national athlete—all extraordinary identities. And the newcomer, Chloe Winston, has become the hottest star thanks to this show. The three were slightly startled.
"I’ve participated in many survival projects. Since Century Park is an open amusement park, the difficulty shouldn’t be too high. Our team of three should be the strongest." Lian Ke smiled reassuringly.
"Haha, that’s true. With the goddess here, no matter how twisted the program team is, you’re unstoppable." William Zamora laughed.
Chloe Winston remained silent throughout. After about ten minutes of travel, the train finally stopped. The three got off and walked along a lengthy passage into a grand, circular hall adorned with gold and jade.
"Welcome to the Fate’s Stargazer." A man, shrouded entirely in a wide black robe, stood high on a platform and hoarsely spoke, "Here are the rules of the challenge. The star disc you stand on marks the line of life and death from the moment you entered this hall."
The man’s ghostly appearance and his rough, unpleasant voice made the splendid circular hall unusually quiet and eerie.
Chloe Winston looked back and found the path they came had disappeared, her pupils constricting. Behind her was a complete wall with no door.
William Zamora and Lian Ke hadn’t noticed; they were only focused on the man shrouded in mystery, asking about the game rules.
"Have you ever played Chinese checkers?" the man continued to ask hoarsely.
"Yes, we have. So, is the Fate’s Stargazer essentially Chinese checkers?" Lian Ke laughed.
The man replied with a flat expression, "Anyone who disrespects the Fate’s Stargazer will receive merciless punishment—five times, which equals death, symbolizing failure."
Three minutes after the man finished detailing the challenge rules, Lian Ke and William Zamora, who were initially tense, also relaxed, even feeling in the mood for joking. This so-called star disc essentially turned into Chinese checkers, with guests transforming into pieces, rolling die, moving on a massive star disc, reaching the end or stepping on a fate button to indicate passing the challenge. Such a child’s game being used as a challenge? It’s an insult to their intelligence.
Chloe Winston, looking at the vanished door behind, asked softly, "Is there a punishment button?"
The man laughed grimly with his unpleasant voice, saying, "Of course. The fate’s star disc virtual challenge was tried online forty-three thousand five hundred times with no one clearing it, everyone failing at the punishment button.
