The Underworld Detective

Chapter Two: The Wonder of Years

Grandpa slowly walked in behind his back and asked Officer Sun what we were talking about.

I tried so hard to show Officer Sun not to say it, but this uncle's nerves not only said the consequences of the previous cause again, but also exaggerated me.

“Song, your grandson is amazing! After dragging the case back and forth for a little over half a month, we almost dug three feet and found no murder weapon. He looked at the photograph and saw the way out. This child is coming. I think that after high school, don't go to college. Now when college students catch a big one, graduation is unemployment. Why don't I write him a letter of introduction and let him go straight to the police academy! Gold should shine, right? ”

Grandpa waved his hand and said indifferently: “You lifted him up too much. It was just an old book left over by some ancestors. Ben just axed the door. Besides, we in the Song family already have the eight-word ancestral training ‘if you don't serve me, Ming Zhe will protect you'. Why don't you put that away? I'm not giving you this kid. ”

Just swept me with cold eyes and scared me to bury my head.

Officer Sun sighed and said: "Song, are you too stubborn? Weren't you the one who slept in the stable for three years? Isn't that a long time ago? Now it's the 21st century, you're a stubborn old man!” Finished slapping me on the shoulder, trying to pull me together: "Kid, do you want to be a cop when you grow up and catch bad guys with your uncle? ”

I wouldn't dare build it again in front of my grandfather and shake my head hard.

Grandpa said: "Sun Tiger, you don't understand the Song family, I have nothing else in my life, I just hope that future generations will be safe and sound, and stop engaging in these dangerous industries. ”

Officer Sun also wanted to talk. Grandpa has lifted one hand and ordered the deportation: “If you are okay, please go back first! Otherwise, don't come into my door again. ”

Officer Sun swallowed the words back into his stomach and picked up the briefcase: "Okay, old Song, I'll go first, come back next time there's a case! ”

After Officer Sun's car left, the air in the living room suddenly became heavy. Grandpa sat on the maestro's chair with a cup of tea. I stood in front of him and was very nervous.

“Yang, how many books have you read?” He asked.

I answered with great reluctance and finished reading it all. Actually, I didn't have much extracurricular reading at home. I just had to look over the two books when I had time, and I was about to fall apart.

Grandpa took a sip of tea and suddenly said leisurely: “Prison is no more important than great, no more important than first love, no more important than test. ”

I stood still and recited: "Covering the right of life and access to public opinion, the opportunity to surrender unjustly, so I was determined. ”

"" The first month of pregnancy is like white dew; the second month is like peach blossoms... ”

I received: "March for men and women; April for statues; May for bones, June for hair; July for right hand, male for left hand; August for left hand, female for right hand. ”

Both of these passages are from "The Real Grievance Record". Grandpa intended to test me. After listening to them, he dropped the cup of tea on the floor. He was surprised to ask: "Yang, did you carry all this book? ”

“Almost...” I admit with some embarrassment.

“It's my Song brothers.” After that, Grandpa shook his head again.

This strange reaction frightened me and thought Grandpa would curse me in the face, but he didn't. Later on, when I remembered, I realized that Grandpa's heart was very complicated. He was both happy that the Songs had left school and feared that I would follow the same path as him from now on.

Grandpa sighed a long time: "Oh, my God! ”

Then he got up, didn't even look at me, and went back to the study with his hands behind his back. I was standing there, shocked and fortunate, and Grandpa wasn't going to spank me?

Late that night, Grandpa suddenly woke me up and told me to put on my clothes and go somewhere with him. I put on my clothes in the fog and came to the yard. Grandpa threw me a pickaxe and then walked out without a word, and I followed closely behind him.

We live in a small county, a wild suburb to the south, with no moon and few stars that night. Grandpa walked in the quiet chestnut grove, and along the way only we stepped on the sand from the fallen leaf pile, and deep in the woods, I didn't know what animals were whining, I heard my hair straight in my heart.

Soon we walked through these woods to a wasteland, and I kicked something in a panic, and look closely, it was a dead bone! Exposed to sun and rain all year round, it has become dark.

I suddenly remembered that this neighborhood was a mess of burial posts, and it was said that at the end of the world's chaos, a group of leeches occupied the mountain here as king, killing people like hemp, and the bodies were all left here. Over time, this place became an ominous place, and strange things often happened. Even nearby villagers build houses, and the main entrance will never open in this direction, but anyone who has any unnamed body, or whose moral decay did not deserve to be buried in the graves of their ancestors, is thrown here in a roll of grass.

I saw a bunch of green flames surrounding me, like ghosts.

At first thought it was a firefly, but think about it, this mess is heavy, almost grass free, where is the firefly? The light spectrum is the "Wreck Fire" recorded in the "Real Book of the Injustice Collection", that is, the "ghost fire" in the world's population, is the spontaneous flame that occurs when phosphorus in the bones volatilizes into the air after the corpse rots.

Though I understand that, I still have goose bumps when I see this glittering ghost fire with my own eyes.

Just as my heartbeat was accelerating, a dark shadow suddenly ran over me from the mass grave post, stopping 10 meters away staring at me dead, my eyes glowing green and ghost, screaming at me.

Grandpa picked up a stone and threw it at the shadow. The shadow was frightened and Wang ran into the bush.

“Don't be afraid, it's a dog.” Grandpa consoled.

I swallowed a spit and asked, "Grandpa, what are we doing here? ”

“You'll find out later...”

Grandpa took me in front of a pile of stones, fingering me: "Dig! ”

“Digging?” I was surprised. “Grandpa, is this a grave? ”

“It's not the grave that's buried here, what else can it be?” Grandpa replied.

“But, Grandpa, isn't it illegal to steal graves?” I'm a little hesitant.

“What a burglar. It's called an autopsy. Stop talking nonsense and dig.” Grandpa spoke harshly.

I couldn't help but pick up my pickaxe and start digging. This is a stone grave. It's hard to dig. Don't look at me as I grew up in the county, but I've barely had anything heavier than a pen bar since I was a kid. Soon my palms could grind up blood bubbles.

Grandpa stood aside and lit the smoke, watching me dig. Flue gas came for a while, though choking, but it calmed one of my hearts down, even the shady cold in the funeral home was reduced by a few points!

I don't know how long I've been digging, I'm tired and sweaty, and suddenly I hear a squeak, and it's obvious that I ran into the dead below. So I abandoned the pickaxe and moved the rocks apart with my hands, quickly revealing a pile of black bones underneath.

I looked at Grandpa, he smoked a cigarette and didn't talk, so he continued to dig out the bones in the rock pile and find an empty space to form a human figure in sequence.

Although I haven't touched the body before, the Bone Examination chapter of the Real Grievance Record describes the shape of each bone in detail, so it didn't take much time to spell out the skeleton.

It's just spelling, I suddenly feel something's wrong!
