The king capital of the Kingdom of Pawnsonia, Gi-Pawnsonia, is called the "capital of the flatlands (Miyako)".

Sometimes this country itself is a less undulating land, but the king's capital is still flat.

The advantages of being a flatland are that it is easy to stretch transport routes and expand the city and, of course, to expand farmland. In the vicinity of Wangdu, Pawnsonian's iconic Great Barn Zone stretches out, with wheat fruiting in the fall, even like a golden sea plain.

The kingdom is continually surrounded by allies and enemy nations, but dealing with external enemies was left to the nobles adjacent to the enemy countries. They are called "Borderlands Uncle" and are allowed to knit their own army.

The inner barn zone is more fruitful when the frontier uncle is disappointed to consolidate the outside. Cheap cereals moisturize the people. Now the kingdom of Pawnsonia was extremes of glory, known as the highest ever - there may be only one way to be ambitious outside the country.

It is also a land liable to be attacked because it is continuous and flat.

To cope with this, the military developed its own methods.

"Moving Fortress" -- "Heavy Infantry Corps".

Maneuverability falls but is extremely high defense, and when it comes to Pawnsonia, it was known as a heavy-duty infantry.

"Is that the heavily armed infantry of Uwasa?" Heavy Duty "sounds very light."

On the outer edge of the Wang capital, a massive exercise by heavily armed infantry was taking place. This has two meanings.

One shows a strong army to people from other countries - including spies from other countries - who influx into the king's capital.

Two very simple reasons. It's a heavy load, but it's hard to carry. Daily workouts are in Wang Dynasty, and large-scale exercises are meant to be done in close proximity.

"That's amazing. I've never seen it before."

"Or Lavia. For once, it's a specialty of this country, isn't it?

Hikaru and Lavia are talking as the carriage rocks. The other guests were whispering to sit apart.

From the carriage window, I can see the exercise.

The exercise is amazing.

Sheet metal armor covers his entire body and even his face. Sheet metal was painted by uniform colors, and what Hikaru saw were three units: green, purple, and blue.

What you have is a long spear, or an axe on the tip, so to speak, a "halvard." As for Hikaru, I wonder if that is getting protection as a "long spear".

They wield and storm that halbad. Jump. On the contrary, blow it up and take it to the passive. Some even buckle.

"... is that magic?

"Of course. I've read in books that they're not superior, they're superior in armor."

"Uh. You know what?"

Hikaru is convinced. Perhaps the sheet metal armor itself is a magic tool. I guess there's some lighter magic or better physical ability magic on it.

That was very efficient. Instead of improving the physical abilities of each soldier, improving (updating) the "system" side called "sheet metal armor" will raise the bottom of the entire army.

It would be a time-limited ability, though, to stop without a supply of magic.

(Gunpowder, war in a world without firearms? I'm interested in what it is...)

Hikaru thinks it's pointless, such as the war in question. The fruits obtained by victory are so small that they are not comparable to those lost by war. Not to mention if you lose or something, you can't even see it.

"I can see the king's capital."

Look forward with Lavia's voice.

In the distance, I see something like a castle spire. Around —— as if it were a mountain around a castle, the building is spreading.

"That's pretty big"

and Hikaru, which was initially a recognition to that extent,

"... you're lying"

I start to doubt my eyes more and more.

Because the first castle I saw wasn't that different in size, but the carriage was running all over the city when I realized it.

It reminds me of Jill, who said, 'If you go with the population ratio to Pound, it's 40 times or 50 times.' I didn't really feel that number then, but I'm getting a sense of reality. What is this city? How big is it?

"Is that it? That said, it wasn't like a test."

Careful. The buzz seemed to be getting louder, and a good town-like man sitting away laughing.

"Ha ha. Boy, that's right. If you're going to be questioned in such a big king's capital, how many soldiers can you have?"

Hikaru, who thought he seemed like a pretty good man, circles his thoughts trying to get the information out as politely as possible.

"I see, so is that. Is Wangdu a free pass everywhere?

"The section closer to the Royal Castle is called the 'Noble Town', and outside it is the 'First Residence', and outside it is the 'Second Residence', and it is surrounded by walls and there is an inquisition."

"Really? But that's all there is to interrogate, and you're a little nervous about security."

"Even if it's okay. Far from the royal castle, this area is part of the king's capital, but even around here, patrols go around.... but that's weird. Usually there's got to be a patrol once or twice at this time, but I don't see it at all today."

…………

Patrol? Something like an accidental interrogation?

Hikaru Hikaru checks out the window. But, like the carriage of Hikaru, I did not see any patrol soldiers of what carriages or the general public walking on.

Then from next to a man with a good width, a woman speaks. Looks like a wife.

"Look, it's me, you. Because the war is near..."

"Oh......"

The two cloud their faces.

I can't seem to afford to turn to patrol to prepare for war.

Then the earlier large-scale exercises may be awkward. Even as we prepare for war, we can afford this much soldier, to show.

What can you do for the King's Landing? I run a store-- "

The friendly couple must have worried about Hikaru and Lavia because they were children, something tried to help them, but Hikaru said no to it softly.

(Some people are good. It's obvious...)

Thus Hikaru and Lavia enter the king's capital with ease.

"Yes. I did have it. Thank you."

Wang Du's Adventurer Guild was ten times larger than Pound's. There are also seven receptionists at the counter. I was under the impression that I was idle for the split in size, but the shadow of war may also be falling on the Adventurer's Guild.

What Hikaru delivered was a single seal. It's addressed to the Merchant of the Wang Capital, and if you keep it with the Adventurer Alliance, the request ends. From here I get another request to deliver to Wang Chengchi.

Sealed delivery service to and from the city —— "mail" where it is said in Japan is also in this world. However, since only major cities and cities are connected, adventurers undertake deliveries in one hassle, such as settlements in the back of the mountain.

Nevertheless, I asked the adventurer if he could keep the letter and deliver it properly —— the delivery achievement rate doesn't seem as high.

"Alas. Delivery requests are also fulfilled, and you will be eligible for promotion to Rank F with two more requests."

This was also why Hikaru received the delivery request.

Hikaru's Adventurer Rank is G. I want this to be E —— because in Rank E, I put it in a dungeon managed by the Adventurer Guild.

The first step is to "accept a request to connect two or more Adventurer Alliances" to the promotion conditions from G to F. Requests that can meet this are quick to "deliver" or "escort," but no insane client would hire the lowest rank to "escort".

"Do you have an affordable request?

"There are plenty of them now. Adventurers are also driven to war, so we're running out of hands."

"Adventurers go to war, too."

"Yes... His Majesty the King must mean it too"

Even the tables cannot be criticized. So the receptionist gave a worried look.

Hikaru checked the request from one end on the request bulletin board.

Delivery within the Wang Dynasty, cleaning help, help with the Senior Citizens Association, luggage hauling...... the request that was in the Pond and largely wears it. Request for rank G. Around the Wang capital, the army sometimes uses it in exercises, and monsters are crusaded, so they don't ask for a combat system. But still, there may be requests that can be accomplished soon--.

"How'd it go?

"Well, that's enough. Find an inn."

He left the Adventurer's Guild with Lavia.

Hikaru began assembling in his head what needed to be done while in the king's capital.

"It's going to be a pretty busy day"

"... though you look like you're having fun with that split. No, I don't know what it is in your case... it's evil, Kumi..."

"That's weird. I don't feel complimented."

"I'm sorry to say that I can't help anything with night activities (...)"

"You don't have to be sick. With my strength, it's a load to walk with you."

"... you won't tell me what you're trying to do, will you?

"Sorry. It's still a secret"

Still Hikaru thinks he can't honestly tell Lavia everything, including his abilities. It's not that I don't trust you, but it's not particularly beneficial to trust me to talk to you, or anything.

"I still don't think Lavia's gonna be a hippo."

"Why not? I don't think you'll be hippocampal until you get back."

"What are you talking about? This is the capital of the king, my lady."

"? That's it? You're not gonna walk out there alone, are you?

"There's a big bookstore."

Then Lavia's eyes opened, puffing.

"What do you say? There are lots of adventure stories--"

"Sa, let's hold the inn down quickly. The fact that the table is huge and you can use the magic guide lamp all you want!

Hikaru unwittingly laughed bitterly at Lavia, who was motivated as soon as possible.

"-- the foregoing will be reported to His Majesty tomorrow"

In the middle of the night, the investigator was visiting the office of the Knights Commander in Wang Du.

It is on the property of the royal castle and is a robust building made of stone.

QUALITY A room with no gorgeous decorations, like going rigid on the ground, a killer landscape.

The investigator is sitting on an oak tree chair with no cushions or anything. There was the same chair across the street, where —— even though it was big enough for the investigator —— there was a man sitting cramped.

Thick legs are like a whole tooth.

I have little fat on my torso to see if I have two bumps, and my muscles are pulsating.

There are so many pork necks (goobs) flat even when slapped from head to ground, on top of which is the face of a man with strangely gentle eyes.

Knight Commander.

At the age of 40, whether or not he entered, he has a large scar on his cheek.

The golden hair is cut short, and if it's hical, it's going to stick "It's a baseball boy" in it.

"... Lord Lawrence?

The investigator makes a surprise noise at the Knights Commander, who doesn't make it slight.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought about it. As you pointed out, there are many inconsistencies."

Unexpectedly, it's a young voice. And he had a voice as gentle as his eyes.

But of course, as you can see from this made flesh, you can't be just a kind person. The training infused by this man by the time he was called "Swordhawk" and "Swordsaint" - can I call the training of perils of death and adjacency - cannot be a paradigm.

"And you report to Your Majesty with that content?

"Yes."

"... Hmm"

"I know there's a hundred disgraceful parts to the Knights, but you can't bend this, can you? Because it's irregular to even talk ahead of time."

"I know. I don't give a shit about that."

The "knight" who becomes the king's sword and shield, and the "investigator" who works to maintain security, belong and command differently in the first place.

Teach the Knights what the investigators have looked into before releasing it to the public is an act of transcendence.

But the investigator decided that this case was about the Knights and that Lawrence-Di-Falcon, the Knights Commander, was credible enough - regardless of the organization's understanding - to set the scene for an explanation.

"East was immature. The sin of defiling the name of the knight is great. We should be redeemed by death."

"... right"

"Was he part of the 6th Knights? Well, maybe he's sagging. I have to fix my sexual roots directly with my hands."

The investigator meditated when he heard that.

Isn't East happy to be on death row in a way? I even thought so. Lawrence himself says very (...). The harshness of that training is enough to make it sound like a wasp to Shirai.

I hope you didn't die in training.

"Mm, who is it?"

The office door was knocked. It was a young knight from the same Knights who came in.

"Captain, I'm sorry I'm late at night"

"It must be about the fire. Tell me what to do before I thank you."

"Ha."

The knight throws a glimpse at the investigator —— his face is blue and his fat sweat floats on his forehead.

Looks like I should leave my seat, the investigator tried to raise my back, but the Knights captain retained it with his hands.

"He's not a problem. Say it."

Is that what you said in return for allowing the investigator to give you a prior report?

Or —— did my intuition work?

The report of the young knight (...), has to do with the report of the investigator (...).

"Okay, I'll tell you what."

The knight said once his tongue was dampened.

"-- Sixth Knight Captain Scott-Fi-Lance has been raided. The place is home, bedroom. Fortunately, it's done with multiple fractures, and there's nothing else in life. According to Captain Scott's words, the Raider is a child (...). A child who hides himself softly in his jacket and wears the face of the Sun God (...)"
