Route Hubbard is five days away from Pond to the south and by carriage.

There is an entrance to the dungeon "Underground of the Ancient Divine People" about 10 minutes walk away.

It was five years ago that the dungeon was discovered. Route Hubbard was a hasty city built for dungeons.

For this reason, there were no outer walls or anything else surrounding the city, only enclosed by a simple fence. No soul card checks have been carried out during entry or exit. The city has three guilds: the Adventurer's Guild, the Alchemist's Guild (Outpost), and the Merchant's Guild, with three guilds paying each other money to hire mercenaries. The mercenary was contributing to policing the city.

Twenty wooden buildings line up along the streets. There are some backroads, but it's a city to that extent. It may be said that it is a village, but the buildings are splendid there, so everyone calls Route Hubbard a "city".

"There's hardly any housing."

"Well... I wonder if you're willing to develop it"

"Perhaps we'll get rid of the city itself once we've finished excavating some of the treasures and investigating the ruins in the dungeon. Or just act as an accommodation town."

There's a dungeon master, and the crate pops up automatically, takes the monster material and develops it as a city of dungeons —— nothing convenient like that.

Speaking of dungeons, destroy the walls and they remain broken. Even if I find the treasure, once I take it, I won't have a second.

Hikaru and Lavia decided to take the inn and rest early. This inn had not been checked for identity or anything. Because where I did, I don't have the means to know who the nominee is. It's up to the owner to decide who the guest is and to stay.

The next morning we head to the Alchemist Guild outpost. This guild alone is purposefully saying "outpost" for a reason, and none of it functions as an guild. I couldn't get the request or anything, I simply could buy the items sold by the Alchemist Guild. Those items are also picked up from nearby guilds.

He starts potions and also sells magic catalysts, wands, etc. Hikaru bought two 1,200 guillan potions - which seem to be rising in price because of transportation costs.

"'Holy Water of Exorcism', 'Antidote to Exorcism', 'Disease Dispersant' …"

There are unfamiliar items lined up. Those were roughly around 1,000 guillans.

A young man's guilder came. Hikaru paid 2,400 guillans for it, so maybe he thought he had the money.

"'The Underground of the Ancient Divine People' is a nest of undead monsters, isn't it? You should use a special item." Holy Water of Exorcism "is something that temporarily leaves the undead." The Antidote to Demonic Poison "is an undead monster with demonic poison, Poison Gast, that infects you with a dozen or nine times when you are wounded. I was wondering if it would be better if they bought this." Disease-dispersant pills are used when the Ghost is infected with chills, but some people are tempered to cure them. "

The guilder has one thing he didn't say. Poison Gast is also a top monster in the "Underground of the Ancient Divine People" that doesn't appear until it's pretty deep down. There are a handful of adventurers who have fought before.

"What's this?" Holy Oil "...... lamp?

Hikaru was concerned about another item. Looks like a complete alcohol lamp. Of course, the glass is badly made, so the air bubbles float and the transparency is low.

"Oh...... this is what I would use if I were to reveal it overnight in the dungeon. When I light this... I can't see the fire, but it's actually lit. So, is it roughly a 10-step radius? I can create something like an invisible junction from an undead monster. I'll use it during a long break, or sleep."

"I see. Then I'll buy five of these"

"-- Huh?"

"5,000 guillans."

"Oh, um... I know it's rude, but the monster activates when it's time of night. It only lasts about 8 hours with one" Holy Oil "so I think it will also fight activated monsters......"

"I know."

"Three nights was the limit for the longest Rank C party I've ever explored. When I returned, two of the five people at the party were dead."

"I know. Because that's how much I've researched. --Buy 5"

"Ha ha..."

The look on the Alliance's face turns into something pathetic about Hikaru. I guess he was pretty sure that Hikaru would die in the dungeon.

(Considering the amount of preserved food, 5 days would be the limit. Spirit of Water Even if you can produce drinking water with magic stones, you can't have food...)

As for Hikaru, I was just calm and thinking about the time I was supposed to stay.

Then head to the Adventurer Guild. This one had a good time. The floor, roughly the same size as the pound, brings together many adventurers.

"Is there anyone who can use healing magic? Up to 3 people can incorporate it. It's a Rank D party."

"Recruiting people to only hang out for one day today! Our rank e, so no high hopes!

"If there's a party to collect spiritual stones, I'd like you to let me in. 1 swordsman and 1 archer. Rank E but guild card has 5 letters god"

They're looking for party members here to dive into the dungeon.

Sure, once you win a chest or something, you're done, but there's a chance that something rare will come out of that chest. "Artwork," "Drugs," "Weapons," "Books," "Worms," "Herbs" … There are many favorites (like this) who want them, and they have posted "Requests" in this Loot Hubbard Adventurer Guild. Even if you don't get direct gold coins, you can also capture large sums of money through "request" accomplishments.

It is a dungeon dream.

"Good. Was there only one book left?"

Unlike Pound, the library is also commonly used here. While the challenge to the dungeon has the potential to make money, there is also a high risk of death.

There is a booklet in the library summarizing what was heard from adventurers who challenged the dungeons. All 10 copies. Adventurers read this thoroughly before challenging the dungeon.

When Hikaru takes the last book, he uses "mass blockade" with Lavia and heads to the corner of the floor. Because I want to concentrate and read.

The description is unique because it takes the form of hearsay.

—— Interview from Rank D Adventurer XXXXX = XXXX, XX, XXX. His people encounter a living head, gain a life in nine deaths, and succeed in returning. There is no doubt that the living head is "the neck of a floating corpse" as previously known. Explode a bind shroud that frightens the humans you hear. "Surrounded by five living heads, I was ready to die. The fire magic unleashed by my buddies hit the liquor bottle and the area became bright as noon. I ran away from the living head" --

I guess I wrote it down just as I heard the words without context.

"Don't be subtly helpful"

"You mean the living head is vulnerable to light?

"I don't know if I can even say I'm weak, but I guess I rely on my vision by both eyes"

A human being "prepared to die" surrounded by a living head is lightly "escaped". A runaway opponent wouldn't be "prepared to die" from the start.

That creates a gap where you can escape.

The ability to decipher the material was important.

In this regard, Lavia is also smart enough to talk fast. Hikaru can also proceed to read as he checks to see if his "awareness" is correct.

That was when I was reading on for about an hour.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You, you've already read it, haven't you? Give it to me."

"Ah."

I heard a puffy feeling of trouble.

Seeing it, a resilient adventurer, around the age of 30, was just taking the material from a boy named Mid-Teenage.

"I'm still reading! Give it back!"

"Ah? You, if you look closely, you're always here to recruit a party. Nobody's dealing with you. Isn't that him? I'm not here for a Rank E solo."

"Rank, solo and material have nothing to do with it!

The boy with the tinted hair reaches out to retrieve the material, but the other guy wonders if he is 185 cm tall. There's no way it arrives when it can be lifted high.

The adventurers around me are laughing. I guess we all know that a boy, as the man told us, "always recruits parties here" and "no one's dealing with him".

"Who would deal with a Civilian of Rank E?"

"I wish I'd just left."

No one sympathizes with the boy. Whether the guild's officials are in trouble or just busy with everyday tea, they just interact with adventurers at the counter.

"We're finally diving into the dungeon tomorrow. That's why we read. Okay? I'll give it back to you when I finish reading it."

"It doesn't matter! Even I attack the dungeon! You have the right to read!

"Rights? Hey. Adventurers are all about strength —— oops."

!?

The boy who ate the kick unleashed by the man, just a previous kick, blew it up. I clash against the pillars and stop.

I guess we're all used to rough things, no one responds.

"All right, it's an operational meeting --"

Immediately the man loses interest or returns to his people.

The boy doesn't move with a nod. Whether it hurts, or regrets, tears spill.

"... man"

"Do you help?

Lavia grumbles at the rising hikaru.

"I'm not interested in other people's troubles, but I've finished reading the material."

Both Hikaru and Lavia read fast. Hikaru was also a book bug in Japan, and Lavia had a past where she had been reading all over the book.

The two of you have already finished reading the material and the contents are in your head.

"Is he alive?

"Ugh... what about you?

When Hikaru goes to the boy, he tries to hide the crying and rubs his eyes with the sleeves of his clothes.

Pretty good looking. The fabric I use for my clothes has a sense of luxury. Plus he has some "sweetness" on his face. Adventurers are usually harsh things, but he doesn't have them.

Looking at the soul board, Hikaru was about to get stuck.

Weak. So weak. How dare you be rank e, and if you're sure what other adventurers were saying, you also nod that the "profession" is the general public "Wide Citizen Citizen Villager God of Salvation: Civilian".

Still the point is shaken by "swords" etc because you were educated there in a good house, as there is a name "fi" that shows the baron position?

"Do you want to read this?

"... data? Are you sure?

"Oh. Because I've already read it."

Passing the booklet, he drops his eyes on it, and then the Hawks glance back at Hikaru.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna let you in the party."

"............ what?

Oh, what, a party?

"From what I've seen, aren't you freshly ranked E? I know you're hungry for party members, but dungeons aren't fun. You should grow up properly, then find a trusted companion and challenge the dungeon"

"Oh, no..."

"If you find out, you should go home. Get experience in a decent city."

That's all the Hawks said, he turned his back on Hikaru and headed to the nearby table.

"Uh...?

"Hikaru. You've been brilliantly flirted."

"Did I say 'let me in the party' for a word...?

Apparently, the adventurers around us were listening to what's going on: "There's a kid that that kid turned me down!," a vortex of great laughter broke out.

Hikaru's cheek snapped.

Take a light lunch in the dining room. It was a noodle shop that focused on noodles, but not wheat and buckwheat noodles that Hikaru was used to eating in Japan, but noodles made with rice flour.

I can't wait to get rid of the mess. The dashi taken from the bones of the flesh worked and was well fed.

"Lavia. How are you feeling?

"Yeah, no problem."

Noodles make me want to use chopsticks, but I only have forks, so I eat them when I stick with forks.

The way Lavia eats is beautiful whenever she sees it.

"Do you want to come?"

"Let's come."

What a tone, the two hang out and leave the store, out of the city.

It's a dungeon on the way.

I have purchased the necessary preserved food and the Spirit Magic Stone used to serve drinking water. I will manage to get there for 5 nights. It would be a far cry from comfortable stay.

Out of the city, rough land ensues. The ground is exposed and the half-dead bushes are pompous to some extent.

The road is narrow but stiffened. How many humans have passed through here? And you never left?

"Lavia. I want you to be honest with me and tell me how you feel now."

"... actually, hey, I'm scared"

"Scared?"

"Yep... I admire the adventure myself and when I have to head to the spot... my legs shake just a little. Isn't that strange?

I didn't think it was weird for Hikaru.

If you think calmly, the place you are about to go is an undisclosed land with no guarantee of safety at all. Many people are dead and I don't even know what's in the deepest part.

Neither Hikaru nor Lavia wants money. I don't really have the material I need either. I'm just -- I'm trying to go to a dungeon to "adventure".

"Oh, you know, it's not like you don't trust Hikaru. Don't get me wrong there?

I guess it's because Hikaru looked difficult and thought about it, adds Lavia as he did.

Let's get out of here.

"... Huh?

"If our appearance is to be detected by monsters, let's run. It's okay at first, but there may be enemies that don't work later. Then I figured I'd run. Run clean with treasure in front of you."

"Yep...... thanks, Hikaru"

"Life matters to me, too."

"And my life?

"--It's so important that I don't want to die."

"Hehe. I'll be happy with that now."

Hitting and changing from earlier, Lavia laughs with a nervous face.

(... not good)

Assuming, from now on, that you leave the country, that Lavia is completely free --.

(If Lavia was gone from before me... if she actually wanted to "leave" me all the time... I might not be able to get back on my feet)

The more I knew, the more attracted I was to Lavia, I couldn't ignore myself.

"Oh, is that the entrance?

Return to me in the voice of Lavia.

At the end of the road, there were several wooden houses.

I guess there are adventurer guilds and kingdom personnel. They control who enters the dungeon.

Beyond it was a stone temple —— a spiritual temple, with its pompous mouth open.

It is the entrance to the "Underground of the Ancient Divine People".

"Hmm, what... are you using? Someone ordered it for dinner."

A man who notices Hikaru and Lavia twists his neck. He seemed like an official, a decent figure.

"An adventurer."

Hikaru showed guild cards. Occupation is blank.

"Adventurer...? Hmm, it's definitely rank e... but what about that boy over there?

"He's an escort. If one of you is rank E, you can get in."

"The rules do, but we can't let young people scatter their lives if they do. You're not allowed in here."

"What?"

I listen back unexpectedly. You mean bend the rules at will?

"Whoa, whoa, what the fuck? You think a kid's going into a dungeon?

It was five adventurers who came out of the cabin.

"No, I'm holding back because I don't think I should be allowed in"

"I like that. I'll be dead soon anyway. If they die and there's more undead in there, I can't stop."

When the man's adventurer said, they laughed more and more.

…………

"hi, hikaru"

Says roughly Lavia.

So frightened of her--Hikaru was grumpy.

"-- that Alchemist Guild clerk, Rank E of Adventurer Guild, you guys —— don't care"

The words were clearly heard by the attendants and by the adventurers.

"You. Not everything is missed because you're a child. That's rude."

"You're the one who's rude. Are you an Alliance person? Kingdom?"

"... an Adventurer's Guild though"

"The rule is that people in rank e can pass through. The rank of the companion is not questioned. This is the decision. How less rude of you to bend that on your own?

"It's --"

"Whoa, kid. Don't get too worked up, okay? From here on out."

"Don't talk so great that you're risking your life to death, Osama."

Osama is called, and a blue muscle runs on the adventurer's forehead.

"Oh!?"

"I was going to go home when I felt adventurous, but I changed my mind. I'm leaving the country after this anyway, and I don't need to be patient."

Hikaru declared.

"This dungeon, I'm gonna step to the bottom."

Remaining: 24,390 guillans (+200,000 guillans)
