"--Hmm, this is it!

Cancer, and it was the "Blue Knight" Conia who rang the chair and stood up.

"Look, 'diplomats who have been on the tip need to be courteous but not absolute provisions. The first touch should be to return to your country promptly if you are done with business, or to join the diplomatic envoys that will come later, and it is a violation of courtesy to garrison on the other side'. This means that it is convenient beyond that Adventurer Hikaru is stationed in Aguiar Paul and that he does not need to be treated as a diplomatic envoy!

"Mi, did you find it"

"Good for you, Master Konia..."

There was a long desk in front of her, loaded with many books.

Most of them were books and past examples on diplomacy and statutes, and the small-time users and "ash monasteries", who had been read specialized documents just like Conia, were tired and slammed forward.

"Thanks, guys!

When Konia said innocently, everyone smiled. I'm here purely because I like Conia's personality and all the people who want to help her.

"Tomorrow, let's go see Hikaru the Adventurer"

Conia doesn't know.

What Hikaru said about the right to diplomacy through proper snagging.

Of course it would be happier to not know that--for Conia and her people.

When Hikaru pulled out the "Shortcut of Arm Power," he twisted the notebook. I felt like I could leave right away. But there doesn't seem to be any particular problem.

Reach out and take the notebook. When "Magic Detection" confirmed that there was no one around him, he moved to the corner of the room. The room is already dim. Turn on the magic guide lamp and check the notebook.

It's a leather, used notebook. It is triple-wound with red strings, the strings fastened with a clipped metal one. Apparently there's a magical reaction to this clip.

"... a hidden notebook, but a magical seal. Well, this notebook's gonna burn or something."

I am not very interested in the priest's humanity that he has embarked on a missionary journey. I don't have to go out of my way to risk reading my notebook.

"Curiosity"

Hikaru pulls out the "Short Arm Knife" he had on his hips.

"... All right, let's go"

Cut the strings into pieces —— but there was no response from the clip.

"Hmm --"

Tilt the notebook and drop the clips and strings to the ground. I take it off once and put it in my nose because the mask is in the way.

Hikaru opened the first page —— looking at the contents, putting his hand on his forehead.

"This notebook has a magical seal. It works like a notebook burns out if a human other than me shocks the notebook at all. If magic doesn't activate, you can assume it's when I'm already dead '

"Hmm... you mean if the priest and the others were alive, they would have burned up earlier when they twisted. Still, I'd like some more knowledge about traps..."

Hikaru was serious and determined to ask the untrapped professionals to teach him.

but that's still a story ahead of us. I want to read this notebook now because I opened it.

'I want to believe that it was my ally Dennis who opened the notebook, but if it were someone else, would you deliver it to Dennis? Dennis-Lugrim is a priest in the capital of Villeocean, Ville-Zentra. Dennis is sure to give you a huge reward. Don't read the contents though. Because there's a danger to you. Yes, please. —— Scott-Faires'

Hikaru turned the page as he snapped. What a warning! Where is the wind that blows? Sometimes they say they're not having trouble with gold right now, and there's no longer a magic reaction from the notebook. There should be no problem checking the contents.

"... Hmm"

Hikaru goes on to read the notebook.

Priest, it was like Scott's diary, but that changes dramatically from the middle of nowhere.

It has been two years since I came to the "Tower" but I often do not know what you think under the Pope's Holiness. Another 80% of the "Red Priests" are from Aguiar Paul. Church promises say half of them are determined to be priests of local origin. '

"I took over work on budget execution from this spring. I regretted that I had less time to get out of the city and preach, but I was often glad I took it on. Budget execution is the last fortress of local priests'

'I have a strange budget item. His Holiness the Pope says "the cost of the study of the sacred relics", but the sacred relics are to be managed and not to be studied. Vendors and researchers who may be anywhere are entering and exiting the underground secret corridor. What the hell is going on?

"My colleague, Priest Gravy, has been dismissed. They ordered me to go to the province as an" ash monastery ". Gravy told me." Perhaps I was glad I had to dismiss him. Scott, being in the tower is not the only way of faith. ”You can feel God as long as you live." -- Add the words of St. Beyond at the end.

'I mourn. I mourn. lamentable.'

"Where is the money disappearing? If we do not reveal this, we will betray the trust of the faithful. We have to check the research facility."

"There is an innocent like Lord Conia, now is why the Church can still start over"

That was the end of the description.

"Huh... that was quite a read"

I don't know what happened to Scott in the end, but I'm pretty sure Scott put a snake on it.

The other pages were schematics inside the "Tower" and notes about budget items that Scott found strange. The schematic reads, "Research facility entrance?" There was a place where there were notes. Scott must have come in here.

"... I'm sure this guy was a good guy"

From the ends of the text, the anxiety about the future of the Church, the attempt to be faithful to the teachings of the saints, is hidden.

"I should have looked for other collaborators...... no, I wonder if that was even dangerous. Thank you. The popes are all like enemies."

The battle between papalist and regional priests.

Regional priests come to this "tower", recommended by humans who can muster respect. From them, the papal priests, who also seem to be buying status with gold, just seem rotten, and I guess there were some regional priests who would go to the earth for the teaching of saints from the papals. Even the inhabitants of Aguiar Paul are not stupid. I know which to respect when it comes to popes and regional priests.

"Wherever you go, the struggle for power... man has a lot of work to do."

Hikaru sticks his notebook in his nostalgia and turns off the magic guide lamp.

"... Mr. Scott, I don't owe you anything, I've never even met you..."

Hikaru thinks a little.

Hikaru's known church humans are around Konia, Gerop and Schuva. It will be obvious who is the pope.

"... well, but"

I walked out, headed ahead -- it was on the schematic, "The entrance to the research facility? ♪ The place. ♪

"I'm going to reveal to you what the Pope is up to instead of you —— hey fools, these people don't care"

Hikaru took out the silver mask and put it on his face again. The lights in the hallway reflected on the mask and glowed dull.

Because the walls and floors are white, there are passages that are difficult to understand. The number of humans to be placed in this compartment is limited and the need for small use for cleaning and temple knights around is minimal.

The apparent reason is that there is a "rare library of books and records". It's actually enough camouflage to have a library, but the reality is different.

Its hard to understand passage--the other day, as Scott walked through the passageway, there was a wooden door on the front. The key is not hung, and when the door is opened, a spiral staircase appears. The stairs are going downstairs —— underground.

The staircase without windows is a complete darkness, but it manages to go down because of the puffiness and the magic guide lamp.

The spiral staircase runs down to the fourth basement, but there is a small room along the way. There is always one or more people residing in the small room, confirming the people entering and exiting through the peek window. Even people who usually go in and out won't know there's a room like this. All you can know is whether you're a small room watchman, a person who instructed you to create a small room, or someone with "detection" skills.

There is a device in the small room that informs of the anomaly, so if there is an intruder, the underground guard will be contacted immediately.

(-- Has this caught Scott)

Hikaru walked through the front of the small room. Since the humans inside are not responding at all, they probably couldn't see Hikaru, though, naturally.

I'll get to the bottom of it.

Out into the aisle —— doesn't this have to be "white" anymore, it's just a dim passage with stone in it.

The passage stretches forward, left and right and in three directions. The left aisle leads further underground, and the front is likely to lead to a large room. On the right, there are several doors lined up that look like small rooms.

"Now, will there be ghosts or snakes"

Hikaru stepped out.
