He was a green giant.

He looked as if the forest had risen and become a human form.

Would some buildings be about five stories tall?

"VOOOOOOOOO!!"

When his mouth opens wide, he growls. Hikaru's distance from the warship to the giant is about a kilometer, but the cloak hits its sound pressure, the river ripples, and the warship rocks.

"-- you monsters..."

I laughed unexpectedly.

Having entered a distance of 1 km, Hikaru can confirm that monster with "Magic Detection".

What stood there was a mass of magic that swelled up more than it actually looked.

(-- hmm? "Magic chunks"? Even though the indigenous Grussels have no magic at all... Hmm. Well, we'll think about it later)

I can't see Duinkler, so he's probably giving instructions at the bridge. You can hear voices from all over the place by communicating the sound pipes, and a bell that informs you of an emergency makes a high noise with Khan Khan.

Soldiers are running around, twitching. I guess I'm moving on to battle preparation. Deena came running sewing in between.

"Dear Silverface, this place is dangerous. Please return to your room."

"Guestrooms aren't safe. Better than that-- what is he?

"... Yamamaneki, we call it. I'm not a monster who should be out here."

The yamamaneki is worn against a dirt wall strewn on the outer edge of the city. It's just about the height of Yamamaneki's shoulder, and it's over 5 meters thick.

Yamamaneki shook up his green arm and slammed it against the wall. Soil splashes from the walls. This is likely to buy time, but conversely, after time, the dirt wall will also collapse.

Hikaru sees the city. The first thing I noticed was that it was completely different from the townships of Pawnsonia and Villeocean. The houses are similar in shape in the township organized by the Acer Eye. It was characterised by bright gray walls and a wide roof.

There are waterways running in the city, drawing water from the Great River and pouring it into the Great River again.

There was about 100 metres of space to the dirt wall and the outer edge of the city, where straw and soldiers were seen marching out.

(Is there an effective means of attack?

level of science like having a cannon, so you can have expectations —— I thought

"Huh?"

What came out was a stone thrower.

It is a substitute like putting a rock on a giant spoon.

There is so much rock thrown into the Yamamaneki as a stone thrower. The rock hits the head part of the Yamamaneki —— but

"It's not working."

Pah, and the greens seemed scattered, but that's all, and Yamamaneki roars again after a proper pretence. Then the soldiers who were deploying were blown backwards.

People are also starting to evacuate in the city.

Isn't this a mess —— Hikaru thinks a leading warship was approaching the outer edge of the city.

From there the cannon —— blast cannon is released.

The iron sphere, which is also the demonic prop of the explosion along with the sounds echoing in the stomach of Don, Don, and Yamamaneki, flies in.

Three of the iron balls released about 10 rounds hit Yamamaneki is a good place. Others hit dirt walls, or fell to the ground, or jumped into the forest.

"Oh."

What landed on Yamamaneki's left shoulder was a direct hit. More greens scatter than just now —— as if it were a bloodbath.

It was the black skin - probably dirt - that appeared across the green, with a slightly bright red line running there.

Hikaru thought it looked like a blood vessel.

"... you know what that is?

Hikaru asks next door Lavia in a whisper.

"You're a monster I've never even seen. That horrible redness..."

Lavia shuddered her body for a long time.

The warship shelling turned out to be effective, but also inconvenient. I don't know what to aim for. It scrapes dirt walls because of it, creating passages for Yamamaneki.

Compared to the city and the warships, Yamamaneki seems to have decided to attack the warships. Step on the earth and come this way.

Then the soldiers aboard raised a voice similar to that of a scream.

(And how can you be so confused? Is it rare to be a monster on that level? You're loading a warship with a blast cannon, but it's not in the city?

Much I don't know.

"Si, Master Silverface, can't you do something about that one?

Deena asks with a blue face. To see how she reacts, the onslaught of Yamamaneki is an unexpected event, I guess.

How do you defeat me?

It soon became clear that what Deena was saying was that Hikaru would be the Revolver he used when sinking his warship.

(but hey......)

Hikaru's weapon is too bad of a minute. "Assassination" is activated with a close-range weapon, but it's also hard to get close to Yamamaneki. The flame laser will deliver it and activate the sniper, but it will be water on the burning stone where one of the giants was burned. They sunk the ship because they knew exactly where the power source was, and all they thought about was silencing the ship with something like an omelet.

(If we're going to do this, I guess we'll have to come in infinitely closer and shoot in a bunch of fireworks (Flame Gospel). But there is no guarantee that we can defeat it...)

That's all I've been thinking about.

"Isn't blast cannon the right answer? Guess Grussell's shooting in because he understands that, too."

"That's right..."

It is fortunate for the soldiers that Yamamaneki is not on his way to the city. The leading warship leaves, and the warship moves on from next to next to launch the artillery.

Many shelling has come off, but more will land. Green scatters, black skin and red lines become exposed.

"VOOOOO!!"

But Yamamaneki hasn't lost either. He comes back with a roar. Many of the soldiers who were on the deck with the warship that was carrying out the shelling tilted are thrown into the canal.

"Don't wander!!"

A loudspeaker demon prop conveys his voice. It's the voice of Grussel, the commander.

"The blast cannon is working for sure. Shoot in with the intention of running out of shells!! Protect our Dreammaker!! '

Hikaru doesn't understand his words. But the soldiers get excited about Grussel's words and begin to prepare for the blast cannon.

"VOOOOOOOOOO!!"

More shells are fired in, but Hikaru's warships can't move because they were close to the rear end. If you shoot from here, the bullet you removed could jump into the city.

Yamamaneki moves on to the warship though. The distance to the Great River cuts 100 meters. The green of the body disappeared about half the time, and the face had a single eye -- the eyes, even though there was nothing wrong with them.

"Main Artillery, Go Yeh!!"

It is Grussel's ship that is currently relative to Yamamaneki. From there, a large iron sphere is ejected, and an explosion occurs as it plunges into the belly of the Yamamaneki.

Wah, and cheers.

The soldiers must have thought that Yamamaneki had frowned —— defeated him.

"No...... not good!

Hikaru realized that Yamamaneki was not about to fall.

I'm trying to run (...) at the front.

One foot steps to the ground and pushes the giant forward. And the next leg--.

"Avoid!!"

Grussell screamed, but it's late.

"Dear Silver Face! There's Master Grussell!!"

Deena screams, but Hikaru was looking at something different.

(That (...) is —— what?

The warship that was approaching Yamamaneki is about 30 meters from the shore. Yamamaneki will arrive in 10 steps.

The faces of the soldiers distort into fear.

(has blue core (...))

The green light in the Mitsuru area was peeled and exposed thanks to the main gun hit.

I checked with "Magic Detection" and it does seem to have a strong magic density only in that part.

(no time to be lost)

Hikaru had already pulled out the almighty cylinder (Revolver) and set it up.

Bullets are blast rays (flame lasers). If you know what to shoot, this is the only way.

Yamamaneki kicks river water and runs.

The shadow of the giant covers the warship.

"No, no, no, no!!"

Deena screams sadly.

Gah --.

A glimmer of vermilion flashes and pierces each of the yamamaneki straight from side to side.

Blue core, shot right through the middle of it.

"Knock."

The recoil blows Hikaru away behind his back. Rolling over the deck.

!?

Yamamaneki seemed stiff for a moment.

But shortly afterwards, black soil drips like it spills from your fingertips and diffuses into the air --.

"Uwaaaaaa!?"

The screams of the soldiers who were on the command ship rise.

Yamamaneki's body collapsed, but because of a huge amount of black earth, and branches pouring down on the leaves.

But the command ship only held up without falling.

Soil falls into the Great River, spreads ripples, and rocks other warships --.

Later only the tranquility remained.
