The Villager Who Grew Up Drinking Elixir Fountain

6: An encounter with the Patronus

Continuing through the mountains, the air gradually cooled. Has the altitude gone up? Yeah, at first I thought so, but apparently not.

Lupica tried to hold her arms and looked at the other members.

"Isn't there something wrong with the air around here?

I think it's getting a little cold.

When Sheila nods, Alf and Claus agree the same way.

Given that there will be causes other than altitude, it is likely related to the Patron God.

"Ah, maybe you should ask the Spirit and see! Huck, come on!

"Yes, did you call?

"It's like there's a guardian god in this mountain, but I want to know where he is. Huck would know?

"Guardian God ~?

Called was the Spirit of the Wind hack that dwells on Sheila's wand.

Beautiful green hair cut off and dark green eyes. I haven't been able to manifest myself with enough magic for a long time, but Sheila gave me magic to name the call.

Haku closes his eyes and stretches out the signs to see what's going on around him.

'Something tells me you're weak. Probably the patron saint of the mountains, but why not?

They found me, but Haku wonders why the Patron God is in this state. But that hasn't even been heard of by Sheila and the others.

Explain to Huk what Lupica doesn't even know.

"Can you guide us under the Patron God?

"Fine, this way."

"Thank you"

Huck nods lightly, further towards the top of the mountain.

"What, should I have asked the Spirit from the beginning"

"You were accidental. But good, now we'll be able to get to the Witch's Village soon."

"Right."

Claus rushes Alf, "Let's go with it," hoping it's a good one. While smiling bitterly, Alf also speeded up his walking because he wanted to move fast towards a solution.

And it came to pass after Haq, about in the middle of the mountain, to the side road.

Colorful flowers remain blooming around and fruit is also fruitful. The birds are coming to eat it, and it rings with a pippy and adorable voice.

At first it was a mountain with lots of trees... so I was thinking to some extent.

That there would be a lot of wild animals. But Haku's destination is more and more animals, and he also looks alert to the Sheilas.

"You have a lot of animals."

When Sheila spoke to Haku, a mild nod returned.

'The patron saint is weak, so be it. The animals are gathering to protect us.'

"Oh, you're so sweet."

"We all care about the Patron God. Maybe it's similar to how we spirits like Sheila who gives us magic. It's a great place for us to live. '

So nothing, this condition is unusual or anything.

Instead, I even think I need to help the patron saints of the mountains admired by the animals.

"I was relieved that they didn't seem violent"

Mountain rock skin appeared from between the trees as Lupica caressed her chest down relievedly when she heard about Haku. It seems to be a cave there, with delicious looking nuts nearby.

Apparently, there's a guardian god over there.

I peered inside the cave and saw that the animal was lying.

I can see that the surroundings of my body are glowing and at a glance it would be a mountain god.

"Uh, is it a bear?

"Bear...... right. But it's glowing."

It was Claus who nodded at Sheila's inquiry.

As I told you, the guardian god's appearance was the bear itself. He looks like he's about three meters long, but now he's lying on the ground. It's just so hard to hear constant breathing, and Sheila and the others look at what the hell happened.

It wouldn't be a traumatic issue, especially since I'm not injured.

"But you're gonna be fine..." Healing ""

When Sheila used healing magic, the patron god raised his voice and opened his eyes. Apparently it worked somewhat to relieve me.

- I don't know because I was the worst healing magic in the village.

I was anxious that maybe I wouldn't be able to heal you properly.

"That's Sheila, right? The patron god, too, seems to be feeling kind of better.... Can we have a conversation?

"Thank you, Lupica. It was my first time, too, so what do you think?

Sheila kneels down and speaks softly to the Patron God.

"I'm Sheila. Are you the protector of this mountain?

"Gah......"

I never uttered a word, but I roar low so that I can take Sheila's word for affirmation. Apparently, you can't go wrong with a patron saint.

It does seem to be recovering somewhat, but it doesn't feel like a complete resurrection. I can also nod what the witches said they couldn't recover.

"Hmm, you don't have a hegemony in your voice. I don't think you've ever been hurt in your body..."

'Sheila, it looks like there's no magic. My body's glowing because it's emitting magic.'

"What, magic? Why?"

Hearing Huck's words, Sheila sees the Patron God.

I thought you were glowing because you're a patron saint, but you didn't seem to be. If you do look carefully, you can see that the light is magical.

Is guardian god doing that at his own will, or is he being forced into that state...

"Isn't it to protect the animals? If the plant dries up and you have trouble with food, you should die. The Patronus uses his magic... at least with this mountain, I'm protecting it '

"So you have no magic. But to solve this fundamentally, we have to break the curse."

If we could restore the magic of the Patron God here, there's nothing we can do about it right away.

Lupica opens her mouth, wondering what's going on.

"This prevents you from fulfilling the witch's conditions..."

To break the curse, I really want to get information about Peer. But in order to achieve that condition, we need to de-curse Peer.

I'm totally stuck.

"Mm-hmm..."

Sheila takes a bottle out of her bag and takes it to her guardian god.

This is enough potion to be called a miracle, High Elixir. Any injuries or lost arms will heal instantly if they are not dead. Of course, even the magic that the Patronus is losing will be restored.

It may only be a first aid, but Sheila thought that if we let her drink this, the Patronus might get better for a while.

Seeing Sheila like that, Lupica asks what the hell she's going to do.

"Sheila, what is that? Sounds like a potion..."

"Hi Elixir. I'm going to restore my magic powers, so I was wondering if my current patron god would need it."

"Not Elixir...? But even Elixir is a legendary healing item... more than that, do you mean above?

I can't believe it, it says on Lupica's face.

"It's hard to make, so I only have five of these in there"

"Too much......"

I can't even predict how much a bottle would be worth.

Besides, when I hear Sheila's mouth, it looks handmade. I used to make 'energizing specialty water' that would restore magic, and it comes beyond common sense in everything.

"Here, drink. Keep it for me, you'll feel better."

"Grrrrr......"

Sheila took High Elixir to the mouth of the Guardian God and slowly gave him a drink.
