"Mr. Mason, are you dating your daughter?

That's what your father told you, Mason, only for a moment solidified, then immediately stood up and bowed his head deeply.

"... Yes, I am going out with Mr. Chelsea. I sincerely apologize for doing anything that would avenge my gratitude. Sorry, sir."

"Mason is nothing wrong! I insisted on it from me. I followed him all the time and forced him to be mine. Because she's a noble daughter, I know she really should be at the service of the house in marriage. But I can't think of marrying anyone but Mason! If you admit to socializing, I'll magically make sure it helps the house. I'll do my best to die! Of course, if you're telling me to leave the house, I'll follow suit. So..."

"... calm down a little? Chelsea."

My mother calmed me down with embarrassment when I got up and continued to talk with tremendous momentum. You did get excited and the story was disjointed...

The two of us sat in our seats at your father's direction, and then, anticipating the timing of my settling down a little, your father resumed his conversation with Mason.

"Mason, are you some now?

"...? Twenty-five, but..."

Why are you suddenly so old? You thought so, Mason answers with a slightly confused look.

"... um. My daughter's almost eighteen."

Oh, that, or you mean against socializing on the grounds of your age, which is nearly ten years away, not on the grounds of your identity?

"And what do you think of your daughter?

"... I sincerely love Mr. Chelsea. I really think it's more important than my life."

Mason...... Thanks. Me too!

"... well. So, isn't it time to make a decision?

Decisions...? What? You mean make a decision to pull yourself aside for me? You can't do that.

"That's right. I was actually still wondering if it was like Chelsea's one-sided idea. There's no reason to postpone it any longer, if both of you think so."

"Mm-hmm. Exactly.... so can we start with Chelsea's 18th birthday party in the form of an official announcement about the two of us socializing?

""... Huh?

The voices of me and Mason were a beautiful moment.

◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆

I hear your father and mother have been waiting a long time for us to officially make a social report. There are a lot of complications involved in that context... but anyway, our socialization was successfully acknowledged. Or it was admitted so long before I knew it...

Here's how it went. Soon after Mason came to the Rosedale Mansion, my extraordinary fondness for Mason seems to have been known to almost everyone involved in our mansion. Including your father and mother, of course.

Well, me, I didn't even try to hide it, and that's what anyone can tell from the fact that I was (or still am) a maiden mode in love for 24 hours.

So, they all felt the same way about Mason himself at first, because they thought my thoughts were "a temporary longing for an older man for a young girl," and I didn't think Mason was going to get his hands on a 12- or 3-year-old duke's warrant, so they all watched "the first love of a young warrant, which is going to end with a bitter one-sided thought" raw and warm.

But after all these years, my feelings never changed, and while I was doing so, my arms as a magician kept rising, and I had been an active adventurer, and at some point I became a well-known selling magician.

I've come to be pretty prominent as a magician since before school, and it seems I've become a waste of time putting it out in other houses as a pawn in a gradual political marriage.

That's certainly true if you ask me. In this country, where the biased idea of "the one who can do magic well is unconditional and difficult," I am now sometimes regarded as the wizard of kingdom No. 2, the one who can do it well. I'm ashamed to say it myself, though.

So of course, even if you look for Rosedale's main house and relatives without a neighborhood, there's no such thing as a wizard who can do the same as me. Then it would be more beneficial for the house to have me in the Rosedale family for a long time than to let me out to other houses as a pawn in a political marriage.

Besides that, there was also the matter of your brother and sister. Your sister is the only daughter of the Duke of Reinhardt family. If she were to be married to the Rosedales, the Reinhardts would have to adopt children to succeed them.

Moreover, while I am only "sometimes regarded as the Mage of Kingdom No. 2" level, your sister is "everyone admits to being the Mage of Kingdom No. 1".

As a Reinhardt family, I never want to put it out on my wife, and besides, I can't believe that opponent is my long-time rival Rosedale. So the marriage between your brother and your sister is more realistic in the form of your brother being son-in-law. Then I am required to take my son-in-law and inherit Rosedale's house.

So, he's my son-in-law candidate, but at some point he was in the air saying, "Well, of course there's only Mason Beckford, right?" Sometimes my personality and abilities are impeccable, but the decision-maker is still my obsession.

Apparently my parents, watching over my words and deeds for a few years, understood that I would never give up Mason.

He said my son-in-law had come to the conclusion that it would be safer and happier for everyone to keep Mason in a big way because it would be tough if I rammed him away or even ran off with Mason.

Speaking of which, since when? There was a slight reduction in the number of engagement stories that were coming in in in large quantities at one time I was sick of them, and at some point they were gone at all, but that didn't mean that the story of the engagement itself was no longer delivered.

"Because Chelsea is not in the eye except Mason anyway," so your father said no to all of it without consulting me on the way.

So my candidate for son-in-law was narrowed down to one Mason, and then there was the plan to marry your brother and sister even shortly afterwards, if we were officially engaged...

There was only one problem there, and it was obvious to whoever saw that I had always been a Mason strand, but he didn't know exactly what Mason thought of me.

According to the information coming in from the school and my brother/sister, it seems no doubt that the two of them are socializing, but maybe that's because I'm too persistent, and from Mason's point of view again, I'm not the person to let go cold, so I just didn't have a choice but to be attached to me.

So, today's call confirms Mason's feelings, and both thoughts promptly start getting ready for the engagement, not so, just because he looks like he's on the surface, and when it turns out that Mason actually doesn't have a thing for me or anything, it seems the purpose was to convince Mason.

By the way, for Mason's persuasion...

"I may have been annoyed by your persistence all along, but my daughter's love for you is definitely real. Women who love you as much as their daughters don't show up that easily."

"Objectively speaking, my daughter is a wonderful marriage partner for her instrumentality, abilities, and family."

"I know this kid well because he looks just like me, not just his face, but you can't run away from this kid anymore. Whether you flee to the end of the earth or hide at the bottom of the sea, this child will come after you and find you. Just give it up and love this girl one by one."

He came to today's discussion with a line that felt like...... No, will you stop treating your father, mother, and real daughter like a fucking dangerous woman stalker... especially your mother. I have a lot on my mind though.

... So your mother was in Yandere shape, too.

... In any case, it was successfully confirmed today that Mason and I were both thoughts, and since Mason's home has already been established for your brother to succeed, it turns out that Mason has nothing wrong with joining the Rosedale family as son-in-law.

So they're starting our engagement early tomorrow and getting ready for your brother and sister's marriage. "I'm gonna be busy tomorrow," she said happily as her mother glowed her eyes.

... No, what is this? You've been wasting all your rushing plans and prepping. Why doesn't anybody say anything to me? And what do I do now? After graduation, I was going to leave the country, so I haven't thought about my postgraduate path or anything.

... continue to be an adventurer for now...?

You know,... Huh? Yeah, yeah? Me and Mason, we've been married, and we're going to continue to live happily ever after in this mansion, with him? Are you sure this is real? Actually, this is all a dream, and when you wake up, you're on a boat to St. Andrews, and the next moment, a big shock runs and the boat starts sinking... or something, right? We're good, right?!?

Next to me Mason was bawling at me with faces like he was too unacceptable for unexpected realities.... I'm sure I have the same look.
