Chapter 411: Let’s Just Finish Off That Jiang Guy
"One million per person. That’s not too much, is it?" Jiang Xinghai said unhurriedly.
"One million per person..." Liu Biao staggered at his words. ’Five women... that means five million!’
Jiang Xinghai snorted coldly. "Of course, you can choose to pay with your life instead."
Liu Biao shuddered.
He knew Jiang Xinghai wasn’t joking.
He couldn’t bear the thought of paying with his life, so compensation was his only option.
"Young Master Jiang, five million... I don’t have that much on hand. Could you perhaps give me some time?" Liu Biao said, a bitter taste in his mouth, as he tried to read Jiang Xinghai’s expression.
"You want time? Fine. I’ll come get it at noon tomorrow."
Jiang Xinghai agreed readily. He and Leng Ning were coming back to the Leng Family’s place on Phoenix Mountain tomorrow anyway, so it was on his way.
"Thank you for your mercy, Young Master Jiang."
Liu Biao looked relieved but still distressed. "But by tomorrow... I’m afraid I still can’t scrape together five million. How about seven days? No, three. In three days, I’ll bring it to you personally in Central State."
"Tomorrow, at the latest."
Jiang Xinghai’s gaze grew colder. "And that’s only if you first write down all the filthy business you’ve been up to over the years and give it to me. Otherwise, I’ll finish you today."
"..." Liu Biao was dumbfounded.
He’d committed plenty of filthy acts over the years, some of which could never see the light of day.
"I’m sure today’s events weren’t just a simple coincidence."
Jiang Xinghai turned impassively and looked at the two unconscious female seniors in the corner. "You know them, don’t you?"
Liu Biao turned to look, his heart pounding with anxiety. Of course he recognized the two female seniors.
And he had... had his fun with them!
In fact, he had been the one to recruit those two female seniors. They were specifically responsible for setting traps or luring other university students who needed money...
"You can survive a disaster from the heavens, but you cannot survive your own evil deeds."
Jiang Xinghai’s voice was flat, as if he were stating a simple, self-evident truth.
Liu Biao had wanted to deny it, but Jiang Xinghai’s piercing gaze filled him with terror. He didn’t dare hide anything and quickly nodded in agreement.
His nails dug deep into his palms. He was fuming with both anxiety and rage, but he was utterly helpless!
’If what he’d done all these years got out, the entire Liu Family would be doomed!’
"Ten minutes to write it all down. That should be enough, right?"
Jiang Xinghai stared at Liu Biao without blinking.
"En-enough. It’s enough," Liu Biao nodded repeatedly.
He felt as if a demon was glaring down at him, a predator watching its prey. A wave of unprecedented terror washed over him.
He thought for a moment, then fished a small notebook and pen out of his pocket. He began to write, methodically listing all his deeds from over the years. No detail was too small; he remembered every last one with perfect clarity.
He knew he couldn’t fool Jiang Xinghai and didn’t dare to entertain a single thought of defiance.
Jiang Xinghai watched him with cold eyes. After he finished writing, Jiang Xinghai took the notebook, looked through it carefully, then tossed it back to Liu Biao. "I’ll come for the money tomorrow," he said coldly. "Then you will personally deliver this notebook to the authorities in Central State. Someone will be there to question you."
Liu Biao took the notebook, his face a mask of bitterness.
’All his dirty secrets were out. There was no way he could deny them now.’
Even if he tried to flee Central State, he knew that with the power of the Martial Arts Department, it would be a dead end. He’d be a dead man sooner or later.
But there was a silver lining. Jiang Xinghai was giving him a chance to turn himself in. It was basically a confession, which meant he could at least save his own life.
「Ten minutes later.」
Jiang Xinghai and his group left, taking the two still-unconscious female seniors with them.
"Brother Biao, are you really going to listen to him?" one of his men asked.
"Yeah, Brother Biao, that Young Master Jiang guy is going way too far!"
"He forced you to write down all your dealings from over the years and even made you turn it in yourself! Where does he get the nerve?"
"Brother Biao, we know plenty of people in the Martial Arts world. Why don’t we sneak into Central State tonight and just get rid of that Jiang guy!"
"That’s right! In for a penny, in for a pound. We’ve been making a fortune with you for years, Brother Biao. We can’t just let some guy push us around!"
More and more of his men started chiming in, and Liu Biao suddenly felt they were making a lot of sense.
Although Liu Biao had made a lot of money over the years, most of it was dirty money.
’If the other party wants to settle the score, I have no way to fight back. Might as well go all the way and just get rid of him!’
Thinking this, a savage smile crept onto Liu Biao’s face.
"Hmph! Where does he get the confidence, the nerve to think I’d actually turn myself in?"
Liu Biao seemed to have forgotten the immense pressure Jiang Xinghai had put on him. A sinister smile played on his lips. "The brothers are right. Since you’re all up for it, let’s do this! Young Master Jiang might have some skills, but nobody’s perfect. Tonight, we take him out!"
Liu Biao immediately called his cousin, Li Xiang, who worked at the Central State Martial Arts Department, and told him everything that had happened today.
He figured that since his cousin had been with the Central State Martial Arts Department for many years, he would surely have a way to help him out.
