"Of the Six Great Martial Arts Families of Central State, the Shentu and Huang Families are gone, and the Li, Qiu, and Lv Families have all submitted to you. Only the Su Family remains hesitant. Is that what this is about?" Leng Ning asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Jiang Xinghai reached out, pulling Leng Ning into his arms. "Twenty years ago, wasn’t your Leng Family one of the seven great families of Central State? I want to help you re-establish the Leng Family’s prominence here. How does that sound?"

She only knew a little about the Shen Family from Jizhou, having only heard Chuchu mention them briefly.
