The Witch, Who Once Was Called A Saint

Episode Four: Where Warm Lights Gather (2)

A bath seems to have evolved quite a bit over the course of four hundred years.

It was a surprise to keep boiling water warm elsewhere and use it - even though it wasn't magic to always open the cock and the hot water would come out.

Of course it's not infinitely full of water, until the hot water heater runs out...

(How to turn on the lights and how to cook food is really... you're involved in a lot of things)

I went up from the bath, which was more comfortable than I had imagined, and sprinkled my hair and other bodies with a suitable towel. And when I changed into a pressed change before I took a bath, I felt much refreshed. The result should be the same, but the atmosphere is completely different from that of purifying magic. A bath is not a bad idea... maybe it is.

Then when I got out of the stripper, there was Ios who prepared the wheelchair as promised.

When I went back to my room with a wooden wheel that was rattled, a meal had already been prepared.

"Baked meat pie. So, this is the fish sandwich. And finally, this is the fruit Danish. They're all pretty good. If you like, I'm sure you'll be fine... but if you can't, I'll get you some soup right away."

I had never seen anything called meat pie. But the fact that half of it is wrapped in paper bags made it possible to deduce that it seems okay to eat by hand like bread. I'm glad it's easy to eat food, but it's hard to eat while people see it.

With that in mind, Ios had also taken the bread from where he had taken it.

And I sat down on the window and cheeked it up.

"... Behavior, isn't it bad?

"Is that what you care about?

"I don't, but I thought it was rare."

"I thought it would make me feel better out here."

That's good, but Ios was looking out.

Astraia thought for a moment that you had a pretty side, and so on, what are you thinking! And I gently slammed my cheek all the way, and I took the meat pie from right in front of me.

And I bumped into it - I ate it all at once without letting go of my mouth. And when I realized it was gone, I realized that at some point Ios was pointing toward me.

"Shall I ask you first?

"Kay, here it is!

I didn't mean to behave well, but I'm not dressed well for not having too many items.

While I thought so, I consciously ate slower fish sandwiches. This one, too, was a very tasty dish.

"You're not feeling very well yet."

"... well, it's a hassle to go back a bit"

It's just close because it flew in, and if you walk normally, it takes time.

I won't ride a horse, and if I borrow a horse in the first place, I'll have to come back for it.

But that's what I came up with.

(I said cake, but that's still a lot of reward, right?

So how about you send it to Ios for a reward?

That's what I came up with. Astraia tried to suggest to Ios - in the form of looking up at Ios, who had stood up at some point. And Ios suggested it before Astreia.

"Then you should rest here for a while. Because clothing and living are perfect."

"Huh..."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Hey, it's time to start the meeting, so I'll be back later."

Ios, who said so, leaves with the words, "For once there's a guard across the door, tell him if you have business to do," he said.

And after the door closed and the footsteps kept away - I finally understood what Astreia's head had been told.

"... and I didn't decide to leave when it was over!

That's what I thought. Astraia heads slowly towards the window, even as she flutters somewhat. But that's where I realized.

(It was upstairs here...!!)

Unfortunately, I don't have enough magic or strength left to jump normally.

And I accidentally wondered if it was this confirmation of height that Ios was looking at earlier.

"Mostly, I just think it's a bad idea to unilaterally decide to stay......"

Yes, I turned back to the room complaining......... and finally I got my eye on Fruit Danish.

………………

Back at the table, sitting back in the wheelchair, then slowly eating the pie, Astreia thought.

(Ma'am, well, until the injury heals, then... okay?

But that thought flipped only four days later.

"... I'm free."

I don't know what I was doing in the woods, but being stuck in the room didn't suit Astreia's nature at all. First, narrow and low ceilings. No, as a room, it's big and the ceiling must be high. But it is intensely narrow compared to the forest. The food is delicious, and the bath is not terrible. But there's a lot of pressure I'm unfamiliar with. And the other thing is, there's nothing to spare.

No matter how long I napped in the woods, I never thought of anything in particular, but it's very hard to take a nap inside where I only have to sleep. A few books were inserted as entertainment, but not Astreia's known letters. Does the letter I already know mean treating it as an old book? No, an ancient book, not an ancient book? Even though I think of it as something like that, I can't say it because it threatens to pass on weirdly.

And most importantly.

I was scared to say it was only a few days away, but I felt like I was going to stay rooted here.

Then what do we do?

"Yes, let's get out of here"

My body is feeling a lot better than I thought.

Even magic, far from being fully recovered, doesn't seem to interfere with it as long as it is used in everyday life. If we control the wind, we'll be able to mitigate the impact even if we jump.

(But I can't believe you recovered so quickly... maybe thanks to the rice?

I never twirled my right wrist to try it, nor could my hand be paralyzed to the extent that I had a small breeze. I'm fine with this. All you have to do is get out, and then you can walk home.

That's what I thought. Astraia flattened her breakfast and then set her feet on the window frame with momentum in the room where she was alone.

I thought I'd write it down for once, but I gave up because the letters I could write were too old.

(Plus, if you're too polite, Ios might come again. Don't thank me, I'd rather be rude, yet, huh?)

Yes, I told myself. Astraia jumped out the window.

- But I didn't even imagine there was an ios under it.

"Hey!!"

"Wow,"

I tried everything I could to avoid jumping in, but with the difficulty of having time to spare in the first place. In addition, Ios also has a system that accepts Astraia from Ios, so Astraia was not the only thing that could change the situation.

Astraia would have run unexpected shocks, but that would have been the same for Ios.

"There he is... what is it now..."

"You're feeling much better now. I just didn't expect you to come down from the sky."

"Yes, if it weren't for Ios, we would have landed gorgeously...... I mean, put it down!!"

Why is it being held up, how muscular, Astreia protested to Ios in a hurry. The closeness of your face is likely to blow the fire just thinking about it, like when you're holding it sideways or which is closer - etc.

"Instead of putting it down, can I ask you one thing?

"What?"

"How are you?

Asked as if he were a worried guardian, Astreia sighed deeply.

"I'm fine and well. I'm perfectly fine back in the woods, so there's no reason I'm stuck in the hospital room."

"Well, let's make a date now"

"So I'm going home - yes?

Did I make a pretty bad mistake hearing it? Was it still too long the rest he was taking - yes, when Astreia gave him the look he drew, Ios grated Astreia and took that hand and repeated it again, as the knight pledged allegiance as it were.

"Why don't you go on a date with me?
