All the use of the spell was in my head.

More than 20 years ago, based on the "D&B" rulebook, the game master and I decided in vain and detail.

"The Watchman" was also a good and so-so dirty note to understand the contents.

"… try it first, or"

Breathe loudly and close your eyes.

What we are going to do is dive into our own minds and liberate the energy of the spell from the 'realm of chaos' further behind our instincts and unconsciousness.

Focus your spirit while breathing regularly.

First of all, imagine in your mind - the 'inner world'.

Space surrounded by darkness.

Myself standing in that darkness.

If it's normal to imagine yourself clearly, it's a big deal to show off. But soon another self - dressed in a wizard's robe - emerged in the darkness. I guess this means the ability to 'geo'.

Carefully overlap "virtual self in the inner world" with "real self standing in prison".

After the two completely overlap and the image of the real self blending into the virtual self, I slowly open my eyes.

... darkness.

There is no sight of a prison that should be visible if it is true. It is the robe that the virtual self wore.

This place is' inside 'in my mind.

Raise your right hand and imagine a lantern illuminating the darkness.

Soon a lantern appeared and the reddish light illuminated the surrounding area.

"Awesome this... too real... whoa!?

The weight and heat of the lantern and the smell of oil were so real that I was upset for a moment.

More of a suspicion than upset...... shakes the 'inner realm'.

An unusual disgust struck my whole body. Seems to be pulled from all directions.

"Huh... Phew..."

Breathe and focus your consciousness in a hurry. The sway seems to have subsided somehow.

"Dangerous..."

This place can be disgusting if the image breaks down because it's still the 'inside world', but if this happens after more stages, my consciousness of reality for each virtual self will disappear.... Who made this such a dangerous setting?

Take another deep breath, then lift the lantern and illuminate forward.

A soft light illuminated the 'gate' in front of him.

This is the Magic Gate.

It's about 3 meters tall. There are countless creepy sculptures engraved that represent magical fables.

It is a symbol of the contacts, entrances and exits, and protective walls between the 'inner realm' and the 'realm of chaos'.

Ahead is my consciousness, but also the 'realm of chaos'. If you describe it psychologically, you can also call it instinct, the unconscious realm, and the collective unconscious world behind it.

The "Demon Gate" opened to invite in and gave a peek at the stone down stairs.

Relying on the lantern lights, I slowly head down the stairs. It's an anti-clockwise spiral staircase.

A passage to send awareness from your mind, the 'inner realm', to the 'realm of chaos'. It is an image constructed in one's mind in perennial training, as is the "Demon Gate" (a setting that).

If, with inadequate images of gates, walls and stairs, we put our consciousness into contact with the 'realm of chaos', we would be swallowed up by overwhelming chaos and become obsolete.

But that's the image of Geo, a 36-level wizard. It is completely indistinguishable from reality, even from the solidity of the walls, the coolness, the shades and the smell of the air flow.

Subjectively, a few dozen steps down, he went out to the dance floor with the door. This is the first level.

The door was plated, indicating that this was the 'Getting Started Spell Library'.

If you mean practice, you can look for and use one level of spell from here, but the spell you're looking for is at the bottom of this one.

Further down the spiral stairs past the dance floor.

Two tiers... four tiers... seven tiers... eight tiers...

"Got it, 9th hierarchy..."

"The Great Wizard's Spell Library".

The appearance is not very different from previous hierarchies.

But I feel the pressure of 'chaos' swirling around on the other side of one wall.

Otherwise this is a virtual space that gave the intangible ocean of energy called 'chaos' a tentative initial form of image. If the wall of texture collapses, the space and I disappear into nothingness.

As he approached with a lantern as he swallowed the sawdust and saliva, the door still opened without sound.

Beyond the door was a library lined with giant bookshelves.

I'm not sure how big it is. Is it about the classroom? Right in front of me, there were nine large writing stands. Each desk has thick books on it.

Every book in this book is a symbol of the energy of the spell. Being on a writing stand indicates that it is already 'ready (charged)'.

I check the titles of the books in order from end to end.

[Time Suspension (Timestop)] [Meteorite (Meteo)] [All Species Monster Creation (Creative All Monsters)] … [Invincible (Invisible)].

"There was."

Find the spell-written book you were looking for and touch it gently.

It looks like a thick book with hundreds of pages, but only one page is needed. The book spreads the page of interest all by itself like a creature.

Come on, here we go at last. When I breathe heavily, I read out the spell written in the book. I should be spinning the same words in the reality of being in prison.

"By this spell my body will be wrapped for the next six hours by an invisible barrier that nullifies attacks with normal weapons and attacks with spells below three levels..."

It's close to the description in the rulebook, but here's a detailed indication of what the spell will do. For example, if it is an attack spell, an attack range, a target, or the like can be specified.

"... [Invincible (Invisible)]"

At the end of the day, if you utter a keyword that liberates the energy of the spell into the real world, the procedure for using the spell is over.

The [Invincible] book became a sparkling energy, smashing through the ceiling and up... flying away for the real world.

Later, there are still eight writing stands on the books and one empty writing stand. If you want to describe it in a character sheet or status window, something like [9-level spell 8/9].

I also leave The Great Wizard's Spell Library and go up the spiral stairs. I may be forced to disconnect from my virtual self here, but I firmly went up the hierarchy and back to the 'inner realm', prioritizing safety.

Close your eyes in 'Inside World' and separate yourself from your real self and your virtual self.

"... ugh. Back."

If I opened my eyes, it was in jail.

I look around my hands shackled or my body. It was found that thin rashes and the likeness of white summer covered the body with membranes. You can't tell until you stare, but you shouldn't see anything from anyone else.

In other words, the [Invincible] spell is activated.

It's too plain for a 9-level spell, but it should still work immensely.

"Really spell...... I could use it......"

It's a spell chant that I feel took about an hour in my body, but it's actually only been exactly 10 seconds. It's like there's no time flow in "The Inside World," and it takes 10 seconds to use one spell no matter how quickly. Even though there is no choice because the game is based, the use of the spell will have to be fairly cautious given that those 10 seconds will be almost defenseless.

Oh, my God.

I think I know exactly why Gandalf isn't using a little magic to help me.

I seem to have lost my mind making sure the spell was actually used.

I blurred again for about five minutes.

But the peace is broken by the hands of others.

Noisy footsteps and talk approached us.

"Whoa, come out!

"It's an investigation, an investigation!

Three men dressed like little dirty leather armor yelled at me in front of an iron lattice.

- Oh, yeah. A bandit.
