Chapter 1567 - 221 - Seven Deadly Sins’ Meeting (3)
I decided that this would work much better if we handled it like a real meeting instead of simply passing messages back and forth through words alone. Because of that, I transformed myself into Leon inside the meeting room, while my other body, which was with Leon, transformed itself into Satania.
"Does this work for you, Leon?" I asked while giving him a moment to look over my appearance.
"Oh, you actually look a lot like her," he said as he carefully looked me up and down. "Honestly, that’s a little creepy."
Well, I took that as a compliment.
"If you want to fuck me while I look like this, you can, you know," I said with a teasing smile.
"Well... I’d rather fuck the real deal instead."
He answered without even needing to think about it.
Well, that was honestly a fair thing to say.
Why would someone willingly settle for a perfect copy when the original was still somewhere out there? Sure, reaching the original was probably about as difficult as climbing a mountain with your hands tied behind your back, but the point still stood.
"I suppose that’s fair enough," I replied with a light shrug before letting the subject go.
After that, I shifted my main consciousness back into my original body.
Once I was back where everyone else was waiting, I repeated the exact same process over here as well.
This time, I copied Leon’s appearance instead.
"With this, you’ll be able to have a proper conversation," I explained while looking around the room. "It’ll feel almost exactly like you’re speaking to him face-to-face, so it should make everything a lot more natural."
At first, my voice still sounded like my own.
After spending another few seconds adjusting it, though, I finally managed to imitate Leon’s voice perfectly as well.
"What exactly are you doing right now, Beelze?" Lucielle asked while staring at me like I had somehow committed a crime against common sense itself.
"What do you mean?" I asked, tilting my head with a genuinely puzzled expression. "Did I miss something?"
"W... Why are you naked?!" she practically shrieked as her face immediately turned bright red.
"Ah~"
I smiled as though I had only just noticed it myself.
"Well, Leon happens to be naked right now, so I copied him exactly as he currently is. Wouldn’t it be strange if I only copied half of him?"
"It would still be better than showing his entire naked body to everyone here!" Lucielle shot back without missing a beat. "Why the heck would you recreate Leon completely naked in front of all of us?!"
"You’re complaining as though it’s the first time you’ve ever seen it," I replied with a mischievous grin that immediately made her blush even harder. "Or maybe you’re upset because my recreation isn’t perfect yet. I’ll admit there are still a few rough edges here and there, but I think it’s already pretty accurate overall."
I looked down at myself as though inspecting my own work.
"Hmm... I think I got the dick size slightly wrong."
I rubbed my chin thoughtfully while pretending to examine the details.
"Was it around this size? Actually... now that I’m thinking about it again, it’s quite a bit bigger than this, isn’t it? What do you think, Lucielle?"
"Beelze!"
Lucielle sounded completely exasperated.
Honestly, I was only teasing her for my own amusement.
Watching her pride crumble little by little whenever I said something shameless was surprisingly entertaining. She carried herself with all the confidence expected from the Sin of Pride, yet moments like these made her reactions incredibly cute.
Sometimes she made it far too easy.
"That’s enough," Satania said. "I don’t mind speaking with that appearance, so let’s stop wasting time and begin already."
She was actually fine with this?
I had been planning to change into something a little more appropriate before we started talking, but since Satania herself didn’t seem bothered by it in the slightest, I figured there wasn’t much reason to do that anymore.
Holding an important discussion while completely naked still felt more than a little bizarre.
Still, everyone besides Lucielle appeared perfectly willing to ignore it, so I wasn’t about to become the only person making a fuss over it.
With that settled, I began relaying their conversation between both sides.
One body stood here.
The other remained with Leon.
Since both of them were connected through me, the conversation flowed almost naturally, making it feel less like passing messages and more like an actual meeting.
***
Leon’s POV
"So... what exactly did you want to talk to me about?" I asked Beelzebub’s copy while crossing my arms.
Or rather...
I was technically speaking to Satania through Beelzebub’s transformed body.
Honestly, Beelzebub’s ability was absurdly convenient.
Sitting in two different locations while carrying on a face-to-face conversation should have been impossible, yet she somehow made it feel completely normal. Even though I knew the woman standing in front of me wasn’t actually Satania herself, it was surprisingly easy to forget that fact after only a few moments.
Everything matched so perfectly that I almost forgot Beelzebub was the one standing there.
"I won’t waste time beating around the bush," Satania said. "You told me that I can’t touch two of Lilith’s fragments, didn’t you?"
"That’s right," I answered with a small nod. "Those two are still fragments of Lilith. Conquering them would increase the possibility of me eventually becoming Lilith herself."
I paused for a brief moment before finishing my thought.
"But I have absolutely no intention of conquering either of them."
"If that’s really the case," Satania replied without changing her expression, "then you shouldn’t mind if those other two fragments disappear completely. If I eliminate them myself, the possibility of you ever becoming Lilith will become dramatically smaller."
She paused briefly before finishing her sentence.
"It might even disappear entirely."
My eyes widened ever so slightly.
The reaction only lasted for a moment before I forced myself to calm down again.
The two people she was referring to could only be Leona and Estelle.
I had become somewhat closer to Estelle over time, but she still carried secrets that I couldn’t understand. She clearly had her own goals, though I still had no idea what those goals actually were.
Besides that, she had practically vanished after breaking up with Duncan.
As for Leona...
She was currently living within the Empire.
From our perspective, she was effectively one of our enemies.
Because of that, I couldn’t honestly say that I shared any particularly deep connection with either of them.
After weighing everything inside my head for several long moments, I slowly let out a quiet sigh.
"Do whatever you want," I finally said.
