Jump down the altar, breathing heavily. Callie sneaks at you while avoiding cooking up and down monsters to move the bodies. It was such a big altar, it took me a long time to get all the way down. As soon as I touched the common floor with the altar, I turned right to the side. A few of the monsters strike lightly, but the monsters shrug away. No matter how fierce the monsters were, no one could stand up to one of the Demon King's officers, Callie.

Callie stops somewhere, moving along the wall of the altar. I looked at the wall of a dull altar, without any characteristic.

Tuck!

You strike one part of the altar wall with your palm lightly.

Grrrgh!

As the heavy stone moves, the altar wall in front of Callie slowly begins to open. It was the entrance to the secret room inside the altar. Callie tucks herself into the open door before the door opens. You see a straight path through the altar. Without hesitation, Callie starts running again.

Soon Callie was able to reach the room inside the altar. It seemed like a poor wizard's special stamina would grab hold of my ankle, but surprisingly not. Following the dark wizard's power, Callie was also quite calibrated for her health. Despite being breathless, the Dark Wizard once ran from the hillside into an altar with a slave labor force. Moreover, he entered the battle as soon as he did. Even though he is a Demon King's executive and receives a stat correction, the Dark Wizard's stamina compensation was surprisingly not bad considering that the base is a human being and his stamina level has decreased as he gets older.

The room was different from any other altar. Unlike the red carpet, the throne, and other concise altars that only had the blessing of the Demon King, this place was quite spectacularly decorated. It was the work of the former owner of the Dark Wizard. Chloe hated the old man, saying he had a wall of luxury and vanity. But the way she reacted, she didn't hate luxury or vanity, she just seemed to hate the Dark Wizard. I'll deny you anything you've ever seen! 'Callie could be sure that her will had been seen through her eyes.

Whoo-hoo!

A silent vibration sounds. Callie turns her head. The Blessing of the Demon King, situated in the middle of the room, exhales an ominous energy. The energy was repeating that it had slowly increased and decreased power as if it were breathing. Black energy flowed down through the ceiling from the coffin connecting the Demon King's blessing and the sorcery at the top of the altar. I felt like the Black Energy of the Demon King's Blessing had gotten darker.

Chloe seems to be working hard. It's a little troubling to tease Callie too much in the first place, but her job wasn't that bad. Powered by a dark knight, his loyalty to Jack was clear.

"Still sucks! '

Callie turns her head, smiling loudly.

I looked around the room. I questioned her eyes.

You don't have a master? '

As Callie comes to meet Jack, she falls apart. Then I noticed something strange in her eyes. At the base of the room, a hole is uncovered. It appears to be a rectangular opening about a meter in size. Callie approaches the hole.

I looked down. You see a staircase. It looks pretty long down there. Callie jumps into the hole without hesitation.

The passageway is dark. You pull out a bead of light and shine it around. There were no other symbols or decorations, but just a dull passageway continued. It looks that way because of the darkness surrounding it, but the stairs aren't that long once you start going down.

Tak, Tak!

I jumped down with a light footstep, and suddenly I reached the end of the passageway. There was a door about two metres away, and it was sitting there. Callie opens her head lightly with her hands on the handle.

Yuck!

Creepy sounds echo from the old hinges. Callie looks into the room, making an impression lightly. There was a wide area that seemed to be about 30 square feet. A bead of light sits on the desk in the room illuminating the room. Callie finds Jack snooping around in the room.

"My Lord."

I carefully called Jack. Jack flinches his hands without turning his eyes and calls for Callie. Callie came running. I looked up at Jack's face. His face was covered with one-eyed glasses that were loosening a luxurious silver cord.

"Are you done?"

"Yes, I've shifted with Chloe now."

Then I looked around the room.

"But what is this place?"

I had never seen this space on any other altar. Another secret place in the secret room inside the altar. I don't know who made it, but I felt like one of the security guys was really looking forward to it.

"The private room of the Demon King."

Curiosity flashes in Callie's eyes. Once again, I tore through the room. By the way, the Demon King used to be a smart man. Inside, there was a bookshelf full of tons of books. Other unusual furniture was a desk and chair for the center of the room.

"Are there any other places like this?"

"Nothing. This is it."

This is where the former Demon King was buried and studied before he became the Demon King. Other altars were already built at a time when the Demon King was gaining and expanding his power and no further research was needed, so no other personal space was created. The secret room in the foundation in the first place, even if the Demon King started writing, the others couldn't even get close enough, so they didn't need any other personal space.

"How did you find it?"

It was on the floor in one corner of the room, so it was likely to be hidden as usual.

"Even the Dark Knight or the Dark Wizard knew there was a Demon King's secret chamber here. However, this place can only be opened by those who use the Demon King's power, to be exact, the world's life force."

In addition, there was a reason why the Demon King asked me not to enter because his loyalty to the Dark Knight or the Dark Wizard or the Demon King was enormous.

"Can I see it?"

Callie points to a bookshelf and asks. Jack looks at Callie with his eyes wide open.

"It doesn't matter. It's all the books the Demon King collected for research anyway, so it shouldn't be that important to us."

Of course, it was a book that was valuable enough to protrude the eyes of the wizards or the NPCs in the game, but not so important to Jack. However, as far as I know what is rare, I added a single word.

"But watch out, it's an old book."

"Yes!"

Callie goes to the front of the bookshelf and carefully pulls out a book. And then I started going through the pages.

Jack also focused on the book he was holding again. The book he was holding, among many, was almost the only thing that mattered to Jack.

It was the diary and study of the Demon King.

Jack turns over the page. The sound of a struggle rings. The texture of the paper was different from the paper of reality. It seemed to be made of parchment, whether it was for reasons to facilitate storage. Of course, he didn't know the name, so he called it parchment, but he had no way of knowing what animal leather it was made of.

Parlack!

Another chapter is missing. Although it was written as a password-like symbol that only the Demon King himself could recognize, Jack's translation glasses saw and interpreted everything as a different 'letter'. It was really something.

The bookshelf moves again. The bookshelf was moving quite fast. Jack wasn't looking very carefully at the book either. Honestly, since it was the Demon King's diary and his research journal, his psychology and emotions were written on it, but they weren't the kind of things that caught Jack's attention. After all, Jack was not sensitive enough to want to empathize with the old man's feelings 50 years ago.

Sometimes the journal filled with joy, sometimes agony, and sometimes irresponsible self-praise roughly passed over. Jack ignored the research process that he didn't need. Then I stopped at one point.

I saw a verse in my eyes. I lifted a finger and looked at it as if it were underlined.

It was the Declaration of the Demon King, which revealed the truth through all kinds of experimentation and research.
