The World of Masks

Beginning of Invasion

"Huh? You're not going to kill me?"

Is the owner who likes to kill him unwilling to kill? You didn't let Chloe touch the main dish. Callie says it's a surprise. The royals and nobles, who were terrified by the fierce question, asked me if I would kill them.

"For now · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · ·."

I heard some relief from Jack's positivity in the attitude of the royalty and nobles. However, with Jack's blurred tail and the word 'for now', they also raised their anxiety. The king finally stepped out himself.

"What are we talking about?"

"Oh, it's nothing."

Jack's tone was peaceful, as if to say something trivial, about what to do with dinner tonight. However, the latter word pushed the desperate mule of royalty and nobles who had some hope in not killing Jack.

"I'm just trying to make you my slaves."

The king was silent for a moment. He stares at Jack with bloodshot eyes. I wanted to shoot something, but I didn't have the courage. Others were indifferent to each other's anxiety. I hated being a slave, but I didn't have the strength to rebel openly. But there was someone quite strong among them.

"I would rather die! Slave, you want to follow your own words!"

Someone jumps up and yells. Jack turns his eyes to him.

He was a young man, with proper muscle attached to his convoluted body and firm resolve on his face. His tightly closed lips were well indicating his stubbornness.

Those who seemed to be family by my side were desperately trying to stop the man. Perhaps because of the experience of being covered in blood earlier, the people around him have finally withdrawn from his side.

"It has nothing to do with your intentions. It's my will that counts."

Then Jack pulled out the jewelry from the bracelet.

The young man's face was stiff. He was very familiar with the jewels of the youth contract. A jewel that can transform into a strong guardian of a strong contract depending on its use, or into a fiend that will ensnare others. Unfortunately, it was often used as a latter jewel.

Jack pulls out a piece of paper this time. The roughest paper in the world was filled with something subtractive.

"All you have to do is say that you agree to the terms of this paper. with this, of course."

I waved my hand at the jewel of the contract. Then, after just two pieces of paper, I threw them to the young man. The paper flew straight towards the young man as if it had been made of something. The young man snatched a flying piece of paper roughly. I straightened the paper and went to check the contents. His pupils widened. I took my hand off the paper and looked at Jack, biting my teeth.

"Embrace this?"

My mouth did not open properly enough to pronounce how much I asked. But every ounce of his rage was conveyed very well. Jack shrugs.

"I would have told you. I will make you my slaves. What did you expect?"

"What did you expect?!"

The young man baked a walnut paper.

"You call this a contract that doesn't even allow suicide and then you talk nonsense about it!"

What was written on the paper was harsh. It was a contract that would not allow slavery to fall or even death itself. The severity of the punishment for violating the terms of the contract is severe. It was an impossible pain to even hold the body. You can't even kill yourself in this kind of pain. Literally everything is mortgaged. I felt deep despair on the faces of others who had learned the content.

"Bullshit or no bullshit, you have no choice. because I'm going to make it happen."

Jack's words were still lacking in rhetoric. The young man's face turned red.

"Do you think God will see this through! It is forbidden to enslave nobles with the jewels of contract and force loyalty!"

The young man wrote evil.

"taboo · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · ·. Well, I've heard that."

Threatening others to enter into a slave contract, like Jack does now, is something anyone who has ever come across a gem of a contract can think of. It is this world's culture that is reluctant to use the jewels of contract, but there is no one who does not abuse them. The more powerful it is, the more attractive it is to use others. But no kingdom in the world uses this gem that way. There may be some voices that fall into slavery based on these threats, but at least they have not been carried out in a big way. The reason was simple.

It is because the Holy Neutral City will not tolerate it.

'He hated it too.'

When I first started the world of masks, I remember not wanting to talk about the jewelry of the contract with the priest Jorbado who made Jack's ID. I had no choice but to use it to verify the traveler's identity, but in the meantime, I noticed that it was awkward.

This world reveals the existence of God directly, and priests communicate indirectly with such gods. There is an independent power in the sacred neutral city. So the power and power of the religions is unmatched by Jack's worldly religions. Moreover, as it relates indirectly to God, its integrity cannot be fulfilled. It is the good religion that people think is literally a religion that loves and helps the weak and does not compromise injustice.

As such, they did not want to take the jewels of the contract. It is because there is too much abuse, although it does not neglect the contract force itself. However, they were also human beings, so they could not correct all the evil deeds that were done gradually in various voices. Other than that, they have a lot to worry about. But what if the powers of the kingdom want to enslave others on a massive scale and strengthen their power? And if it does?

The Masked Crusader flies.

A sacred neutral city with powerful paladins and priests unites to thoroughly trample and eliminate those who abuse the gems of contract in that kingdom. Humans who would disregard the priests of this world with a strong reader power and do such crazy things were not among the sane ones.

Because of that background, the nobleman turned on the light in his eyes and scolded Jack.

However.

Jack smiled and said to the nobleman.

"Do you think the Demon King will fear God?"

God is a big fight for Jack in the future. You can't just be afraid of a holy neutral city. Moreover, Jack, who had already become the Demon King, did not seem to get along just because the Holy Neutral City did not abuse the jewelry of the contract. Somehow, there was no reason for Jack not to abuse this gem.

The young man clenched his fist as Jack did not pinch a single eyebrow. The fingernails dig into the palms of my hands, and my blood spills out.

"I will never, ever surrender to you. Dead is dead, not your fucking slave!"

The sound of vomiting blood, full of faith. Jack looks at him with admirable eyes.

Pair, mate, mate, mate!

A man of such courage deserves to be praised. Jack claps slowly and very slowly. The sound of your palm thumping ominously echoes through the room.

"Very good. Very good. I really like people like you. Ah, courage, that noble feeling!"

Like a playwright appealing to the audience full of emotions, Jack raised his voice.

"I sincerely, sincerely, sincerely look forward to continuing that feeling."

Jack bends his eyes like a bow and says like a child with a funny toy.

The young man stared at Jack with a stiff face. He was desperately pretending to be okay, but his heart was filled with horror. Otherwise, the opponent is the Demon King himself. The user squeezes out all sorts of courage and raises its voice, but the opposing Pokémon can be regarded as less than a dog crawling along the side of the road. Of course I thought you'd be angry with Taunt. But the young Demon King did not. I complimented myself with a smile, not angry. But it was very clear that it was not a true compliment. The way the Demon King looks at himself now was when he found a new toy.

"Well, who else, besides this man, would reject my offer?"

Jack took his eyes off the young man and looked around at the others. Those who make eye contact with Jack quickly dodge their eyes. But there were also a few who looked intensely at Jack with their eyes. The knights did not avoid Jack and his eyes. Rather, I sent the eyes of hatred as if I were chewing on Jack.

"Indeed, it is. Most of them would accept my offer. But some of you seem to think very poorly. I don't think anybody else is very positive."

No one stood up to me. Jack raises his hand slightly.

"I'll help you change your mind."

Jack's hands point to the nobleman's youth.

"Knng!"

The young man groans. I grabbed him by the neck with a stiff mouth. It seemed like someone was strangling him. As Jack raises his hand, the young man's body slowly begins to rise. The young man struggled. She scratches her neck, struggling desperately. However, the intangible force pressing down on his neck did not weaken at all.

The people around me shrieked and moved away from the young man. His mother, the noblewoman, cried and grabbed the corner of his clothes, but soon lost them. The young man's body had already risen to the ceiling.

"I can't stop!"

Some of the articles rush to Jack to see if he can't. Chloe stands in their way. The knights grip their teeth and strike their swords.

Boom, boom! Boom, boom!

One at a time. Chloe didn't kill the knights this time, whether she heard what she just said to Callie. He flies his knights like a home run with a sword.

Phew! Phew!

Knights flying to the end of the room slam into the wall. A crack in the wall slammed into the knights to see how powerful it was. The knights, either unconscious or dead, do not even hesitate to sit on the floor.

Jack slowly pulls on the young man without even caring about the small commotion. The young man's eyes began to turn upside down and his mouth began to lather. Jack let the boy go.

Fluffy!

"Cough! Cough! Whoo-hoo!"

At Jack's feet, he let the young man cough roughly and eat. I quickly moved my lungs and drank air that was not meant to be fresh. Ah, the air tasted so good. The young man breathed air as if he had been lifted up as if he had eaten and cleaned his food for days.

Jack sits crouched in front of the young man. The young man raised his head. In the meantime, the young man's eyes did not turn.

"Ha, ha! Hey, even if I do this, I think I'll follow you!"

Qajik!

Jack twists something over the young man's mouth. No, you're probably right about the prick. It was a fist-like stone that came out of Jack's mouth when he smashed the floor earlier.

"Uuurrgghhh!"

Of course, the young man's mouth became bloody. His teeth were shattered and he had all kinds of cuts in his mouth. On either side of your mouth, saliva flows from your veins.

"Haha, don't worry. I never thought you'd follow me so easily. You're just an opportunity to make the choices they're thinking about easier."

Jack pulls out his knife with a single smile. An old dagger that looks dark red with dried scallops. It was the dagger Jack had been with ever since he began the world of masks.

"Now, I believe you. I truly believe I will not lose that virtuous courage. So from now on, everything I do will be for nothing. You will never be beaten by this kind of torture."

Jack raises his knife slowly.

"To your courage, cheers."

Jack's knife quickly pierced the young man.
