The World of Masks

Survey (?)

Abdullah was resting comfortably in the most important and most hidden place of the hideout. It is an extension of the man-made cave, and the wall is a bumpy rock. It was an interior space where you could feel natural and majestic, but it was impossible to feel luxurious. But Abdullah's room was surprisingly stylish. I had no idea how much money I was spending to make this space.

Unlike the others, it was not the touch of a sweet maid to wake Abdullah up from her bed and eat a lot of fine food today. It was a wild, waxy siren.

Ow! Ow!

Bam!

As soon as the siren sounds, Abdullah jumps up and down at the same time. The eyes that had been awake soon became clear.

"Shit, what the hell!"

As I kicked the sheet, I leaned over and raised myself up. Abdullah can't sleep well because of the stress he's been under lately. Today, I turned around for a long time and barely fell asleep, but I woke up to the sound of a siren that was not there. Of course I felt the worst.

I roughly crumpled my shoes and got out of bed. One by one, I was overwhelmed with anger.

Is an intruder?

"No way."

This was the most secret of Abdullah's many hideouts. I was confident this place wouldn't be discovered even if I could find all the other places.

And even if there is an intruder, who? The first thing that came to mind was AMSS, who was now coming to explore himself. However, the AMSS had to put its feet deep into the muddy soils of Middle Eastern terrorism and guerrilla warfare. He encouraged me to do so.

"Something else must have happened."

Abdullah believes there may be intruders as well. I came up with something else. If that's the case, there's nothing wrong with a loud emergency bell.

"Did they escape?"

I slammed the door open in a nervously cloak. I saw the two escorting. Tea was shaking his head and panicking.

When Abdullah came out, the two of them were furious. I have greeted you in a bad posture.

'I'll be ignored by the Fabios since they're the only ones here.'

The two trainees return to Abdullah, the chief of the force, in charge. But he never thought of it that way. I'm just angry at the people who are just hanging around. Fabio, Nidelbad, Van Chien and Reyna humiliated themselves.

"What's going on?"

Speech is not high. But the sound itself was unpleasant. My face was distorted as well.

The two sentries are very nervous. Their owners are not good at all. If it looked wrong here, there was a good chance it wouldn't end with being hit.

But they soon became tearful. It's because they didn't know the reason for the commotion. If you think about it, "I don't know." I wanted to answer. But I was afraid of what would happen after that.

Abdullah's eyes widen as the guards begin to bite. Now, even his subordinates seem to ignore him.

"What's going on?" I asked! "

In the end, the speech grew. The guard's complexion pales. I leaned like a poop dog.

"I-I don't know."

But I couldn't keep them waiting for their master forever. One of the guards closes his eyes and says,

In a certain way, it is natural. What did they know that they had been guarding Abdullah's room? But such common sense did not work for Abdullah.

Phew!

Abdullah's fist slams into the body of a man who has committed only a grave sin. The unimaginable force shatters the body. My flesh burst, my muscles torn, and my ribs broke. The organs were torn to pieces that even the shape of the organs could not recognize. A huge hole has been drilled through your body.

"!!!!!"

The guard looks at the fallen comrade in the fog with frightening eyes.

Don't tell me you're gonna kill him. I quickly lost my mind that held out my head a little deeply. If he had said he didn't know, he would have been the one who slammed his face in his own blood and debris.

Abdullah's gaze returns to him.

The rest of the guard unconsciously steps back. But I straightened up right away. And I thought to myself, "You have to live." The sentence is conveyed like a panorama. No more work for the books. Please, I had to pray that grumpy boss had calmed down with one of his comrades' lives.

"Find out what's going on right now!"

"Yes, four!"

The bodyguard speaks up and runs to Huddah. It was a scenery reminiscent of Impala fleeing from the lion.

Abdullah folds his arms and leans against the wall. I can feel the blood on my dead henchman. I felt even more unpleasant.

You tuck your toes and wait for someone to tell you what caused this noisy alarm.

You hear footsteps rushing from afar. Abdullah takes her back off the wall.

"What's going on?"

The man running toward Abdullah's question said with a white, dull face.

"Tsi, intruder! Look at Charles Lemington's face! AMSS is here!"

Abdullah's face was frozen like a stone in anger.

* * *

From the moment you heard the siren, the movement of the site has definitely changed. I liked the fact that I didn't have to hide and move suddenly, but the enemies that kept pouring out were a problem.

Kuang!

The body of Charles, who was in the lead, glowed with awe. The lightning took away the entire vision, and the thunder in his pupil struck his hearing. But whatever was most threatening was that enormous energy.

Fast!

The charred corpses crumble and scatter. I ran behind things that were human, reconciled to ashes.

Again, it felt dirty to kill humans. It was one of the great obligations that accompanied him with the fancy modifiers such as the one who possessed Ueron, the supreme superpower, the pillar of AMSS, and the existing hero.

I was like, "Why me?" I don't have any feelings. If it had not been his duty from the beginning, he would have tried to avoid it somehow. But no matter what the process, he was obligated to do so. Then we must do our best to fulfill that obligation.

As I told Ueron before, Charles was a man who moved forward without hesitation.

And soon Charles saw what it felt like to throw that filthy feeling away.

"· · · · · · · · What is this."

It was a lab. There were various computers and measuring machines, and the wires were all stretched out. Paper that seemed to be research data was scattered, and there were various experimental tools. But it wasn't an ordinary lab that people thought of.

A dried-up, blackened bloodstain. Parts that were originally human, shredded in formalin, silently observing the outside in transparent tubes. And bodies piled up like mountains on one side.

"Woof!"

One of the superpowers we broke into shut up. I turned my eyes away from the horror in front of me. But I couldn't insult her. Others could hardly bear it.

On the contrary, some did not take their eyes off the horror. It's not because it's fun or interesting. Rather, they did not exist at all in their gaze. The reason they could not look away was because of extreme anger.

"· · · · · · · Ugh!"

"There are survivors!"

Have you ever experienced the groaning sound of a heavenly bell? The superpowers were deeply thankful that there was someone here who could be rescued from a region that was only a corpse.

I felt like I wanted to hug you with tears. I wanted to comfort her that she was alive. But Charles, the leader of the group, was obligated to carry out the mission.

"Mr. Owen, stay here and clean up the survivors. Take care of all the other important things. They'll help you figure out what's important."

Charles' gaze turns to one side.

A group of humans in white robes tremble. They were the ones who conducted this terrible experiment.

After turning people into this, my life seemed precious. I was in trouble because I wanted to smash my face with my footstool right now.

Leaving a few superpowers behind, including Owen, Charles starts running back into the cave. There was an explosive resistance. A heap of rifles pour down on them. However, it was as if there were no such resistance among the ten lifetimes of senior superpowers.

The surprising thing was that some of the resistance's superpowers were mixed. The level was so-so, but one or two of them were quite strong.

However, for an angry group, this is just a fly that is distracted from the way it goes. Charles and his superpowers were devastated by the devastating attack.

Soon after, they arrive at the end of the cave. An inorganic iron gate struck them. In front of the door is a body with a hole in it.

I examined the body to see if it was another victim. But in uniform and in weapons, they are no different from anything they have ever killed.

I kicked the body as soon as I knew it wasn't the victim. These guys still deserved it.

Charles slams the door after a slight backbite from another superpower.

Kuaang!

The iron door slumps back and forth. The thunder roams through the cave. As if it were familiar, all the other superpowers were blocking their ears.

It was revealed in the room. The superpowers are nervous. In case you haven't noticed, they're poised for an ambush.

Nothing happened.

Abdullah doesn't even see a shadow, and not a single bullet fired by his minion flies.

The superpowers immediately began searching the room. The room was quite decorated when it existed in this landscape apartment.

"Mr. Charles!"

Charles turns his head to search for a secret passageway, roughly removing the large painting from the wall. I can see someone gesturing at me just a few miles away.

"What's going on?"

Charles' question points to one side of the room with his fingers instead of his words.

Charles' eyes narrow.

A square opening about two meters in diameter was opened. Inside the stairwell, you see nothing covered in darkness. The carpet crumples around the entrance like it was hidden in a carpet.

"Did he run away?"

It seemed more likely. Charles bit his lip. With the possibility of holding God, Abdullah Saripi was AMSS's top priority target. Capture or kill. I don't know when I'll get another chance like this.

"Chris, I want you to do something else. Let's go check it out."

Charles steps into the hole without hesitation. I took the small flashlight out of my arms and shined it inside. It seemed clear that the passageway was intended for use in an emergency.

I jumped down the stairs that looked uncomfortable because they had different heights and shapes. A little further down, the light from above was completely cut off. The little hand lamp was the only light. But for Charles, the superpower, the light alone could tell the situation around him.

Tuck!

You set foot on the ground. The passageway is straight through. Charles leaps into the passageway without hesitation.
