The World of Masks

Prologue of Disturbance

Hannah was at home staring at the TV. There were so many household items in the house that she didn't think she was living alone. Inside the wardrobe, there were men's suits hung and pressed tightly, and there were a lot of women's clothes that didn't fit her age.

Those were her parents' things.

After her parents were ambushed and she was awakened to superpowers, she moved to another house with the support of AMSS. I didn't want to live in the house where my parents died anymore. And the security here was pretty thorough.

However, when I moved, I couldn't just throw away my parents' things, even though I thought I didn't need them anymore. She's not ready to send her parents away yet. However, the abundance of goods did not just cause the warmth of others to seep into the house.

Glug glug!

No matter how she felt, her body continued to be active. She grumbles at the ship, wanting energy and sending a signal.

I got up and went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator.

"· · · · · · · Nothing."

The refrigerator is empty. Water and some seasoning. And there were a few bottles of alcohol that I learned a while ago. It was all faulty to fill the stomach.

"Should I buy it?"

I hardly went out recently. I lost all my strength to go out just because the man was nearby, the enemy of my parents. Things like groceries were ordered online or bought by a lure.

But now there is no chance.

I went abroad on a mission. To find clues to resurrect the god inside him.

Hannah bites her lip. But I sighed as if I had given up.

'Let's get out.'

Even if you order it over the internet, it's not coming right away. Hannah has been trying to move out of the porch for a really long time.

Choo-dong!

"Huh?"

The ringtone rings. Hannah walks up to the door and answers the intercom.

"Who are you?"

I looked closely at the person on the screen. He looked familiar.

It's me, Jin-seok Kim.

"Sir?"

Hannah was surprised at the unexpected visitor. I rushed to the front door and opened the door.

"Hello, Hannah. How are you doing?"

Vibrant yet smooth speech. As she was always being polite to her, Jin was in front of the house. With Charles, she was the most trustworthy person I could trust. Of course, I couldn't be as comfortable as the two of them.

"Yes, I'm doing well."

I give the right answer, which is clear to be a lie. Then I led Jin into the house. The opponent is the highest ranked member of her organization. I knew I couldn't just send you a question.

"Take this."

Jinsuk gave me the plastic bag he had in his hand.

"What is it?"

Hannah handed over the envelope. She was quite heavy. If Hannah were a woman of ordinary age and not capable, she would have struggled to move.

Roughly put the vinyl inside and looked inside. Inside was a mixture of ingredients and supplies.

"I still don't think Hannah wants to be out there. Charles said he was running out of necessities. I brought a concoction."

Hannah was happy because she ran out of food.

"Thank you."

"No, it's okay. Hannah's part of AMSS, too."

"Thank you, though."

It wasn't empty. Now that Charles had left and gone from the sickness to the bone marrow, this plea was truly impressed by Hannah.

Hannah sits him in the living room, looking through the cupboard and pulls out the green tea. It was not a green tea of great value, but a common tea tea tea. It was very humbling to treat the world's most prestigious Chancellor of AMSS, but this is all I have left at home. Moreover, I did not worry because I knew that Kim Jin-seok was not a strict person.

"Have some."

I handed the green tea in a sweet cup of tea to Jin Jin. Jinsuk smiled and thanked me and began to swipe his car.

"How are you feeling these days?"

Jinsuk asked her with a gentle voice.

"What do you mean?"

Unable to determine the intent of the question. Hannah asked again with a questionable voice.

"Avoiding going out. It's been two months."

"· · · · · ·."

Hannah bows.

Two months after she saw him. AMSS's mission was not imposed with the utmost respect for her safety and her physician. But he didn't even snore until two months later. I knew that Hannah couldn't live like this forever. However, the understanding in my head and the feelings in my mind were inconsistent.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to bruise Hannah."

Jinsuk motionlessly grabbed the car and told her.

"Charles was worried. I'm on a mission, and I need you to take care of Hannah. I assure you, if Mr. Charles had children, it would be a huge blow job."

Jin said, killing his voice as if he was telling a secret story. Hannah says, "Cook!" I burst into laughter.

"Yes, smile like that. It's so beautiful."

Hannah blushes in praise of Jinsuk. But the next one hits her head hard.

"Ms. Yoohyun has a big smile on her face. You keep smiling, and no one will say anything."

It would be a compliment. But what happened to Hannah now was nothing more than a landmine. Hannah is silent, and her words are cut off. I scratched my head as if I had finally figured it out.

"Oh, I didn't mean it like this."

"No, it's okay. That's our problem."

I felt even more sorry for him when he forced me to smile.

"Get some rest. We can wait a little longer. If you'd like, I can also assist you with psychiatric treatment."

"Thank you very much."

Hannah knew. The fact that you're troubling everyone now. But I couldn't move if I knew that. That's what trauma was.

"Then I'll get up."

A little bit of the warmer car was inhaled at once and the dust rose. Hannah walked him out the door.

Heave-ho!

You hear the sound of the locks engaging and the inside of the house is cut off again from the outside.

Hannah turns around and looks inside the house. Tidy house views. Only a little dizziness was a sign that I had just received the truth.

But Hannah liked the mess on the statue more than the clean look. There was the warmth of the person who had just been worried about her.

She stands dazed on the porch for a moment.

After a while, Hannah slowly starts clearing out the teacup on the table. Even the trace of warmth that remained was completely hidden.

* * *

Hannah left the house exactly three days after Jin's visit. He had never visited Jin again since, but he called her once a day. She seemed worried that she had left for her lover's funeral. It would have affected Charles as well as the relationship between him and the pandemic.

But for whatever reason, I was delighted with the favor of Jin, who greeted me every day. Compared to the epidemic without even a single contact, I might have felt more like it.

It must have given her the courage to go out there.

Queek!

After a long time, Hannah opened the heavy front door. The radiant sunlight welcomed her, and the raging wind shook her heavy shoulders.

I feel better. I feel like going out there is nothing.

"Great!"

Hannah lets out a small shout, as if trying to energize herself. I feel good and not in a bad mood. It was perfect on condition to get out of the house.

It's been a while since I've been out. I walk to the main street, saving my old memories. You have plenty of ammo in your purse. There was also a card. Today, I decided to spend as much money as I wanted without sparing anything.

At first, I entered the cafe and started eating large ice cream waffles. Recently, all the food that I have eaten has been made or ordered by myself, so it seems like the food I eat outside feels more delicious.

Since then, it's been a shopping triangle.

I went to the department store and swept out all the clothes I liked. There was no outfit that didn't suit her as long as she didn't fall short of her original beauty. Fashion is complete. It was the truth.

Then I went to the bookstore and bought sweet romance novels and bought cute interior accessories at the general goods store. I was so busy that it was time for the sky to turn pink.

"Ha!"

Hannah sits on a bench in a quiet park and takes a deep breath. But it wasn't a sigh of heartburn. Rather, it was something satisfying, such a pleasant day's breath.

A pile of today's loot stands beside her. It was a lot of weight, even though it was bulky. Of course, she was not difficult enough as a superpower.

Hannah looks around. This place was often used as a place for lovers' wild gatherings when land spiders and darkness hit it, and it was still a place for active children to play. Some of the banquets had quiet readers with books in their hands. Of course, there were men who glanced at Hannah's excellent beauty.

I pulled up the last remaining coffee with the straw in my mouth. The ice collides with each other as it flinches. Hannah wakes up after drinking all the Americano she bought from a nearby cafe.

I stretched out my hand and opened my base. Her breasts fluttered and claimed her existence. The gaze of the man who was panting increased even more.

"Great!"

The stress that has been happening lately has been relieved. I heard I regretted not only being scared and stuck in the room. Not everything, of course.

The enemies of my parents naturally continued to care, and my relationship with the plague still remained squeaky. But I was able to resist. No, I didn't even know you were forcibly persuading yourself.

However, the only thing that was clear was that it couldn't be like this.

Hannah packed her hands full. After roughly ignoring the men accusing her of listening, she slowly begins to return home.

Without knowing it, a pair of eyes staring back at him like a hunter.
