Chapter 235: In Ruins
Sunnie moved alone. While the beastmen approached her, she simply set out her mini explosives at them, sending them flying off while blowing up.
On the other hand, she also had her physical health to protect herself. And compared to the previous time she was pregnant, this one was stronger.
She would casually slap two beastmen approaching her, and she would see them flying straight into the air. She kicked one, and he broke his bones and fell down to the floor.
"Ouch. He’s not waking up..." Sunnie blinked as she stared at the man on the floor.
Five attacked at once, and Sunnie sent her hands flying across their faces in a slap. Like that, five of them went flying through the air and straight into the fire. "Oh," she blinked as she watched them burn in the flames while struggling to escape.
When they escaped from the fire, dancing in the pain of flames, Eris kicked them hard and sent them back into the fire.
"You dare try harming my wife? Die," he snapped as he watched them burn.
The fight went on for a while. Explosives took place while they physically took them all down. Soon, a good number of the predator beastmen were done. The few remaining ones were disabled or close to death—nothing much to consider. Even their tribe leader was kicked off into the air by Sunnie and sent flying down the mountain, crushing all bones in him.
"Oops," Sunnie simply said.
They were done soon, and they all stood tall on the pile of destruction they had built. Sunnie looked around at the destruction around—the burnt-down houses, the people lying on the floor dead, the mess made. Everything was in pure shambles once they were done, and there was nothing they could do about it.
Soon, the men from their minor tribe who had joined them came out of their spots and joined them, all standing and quietly staring at the scene before them.
No one said anything. They were quiet as they simply observed the scene. They felt an air of victory brush through them in the silence. They had finally taken them down. They had finally gotten the revenge they wanted, and now they quietly stood there and savored the scene.
To those from Little Black’s tribe, it didn’t feel real at all. It was rather almost impossible to believe as they stared at the scene. They couldn’t believe it could work out at all. They thought it was impossible to even fight these monsters, but they did it.
Immediately, tears slowly rolled down their eyes as one of them said, "I never thought it was possible to take them all down and regain our freedom. I never thought it was possible to even get our revenge at all. We were powerless and low, so I never..." He said in between sobs while the others comforted him.
One of them instantly went down on his knees before Sunnie and bowed almost immediately. The rest joined too as they all went down before Sunnie and Little Black, showing their appreciation with a bow.
"Thank you! Thank you for saving us! Thank you for helping us through this!"
"We never thought this would be possible. But you helped us make it happen. We are really grateful."
They thanked them as Sunnie smiled while shaking her head. "Don’t mention it at all. We only did what was right." She said as she stared around at the men who lay there dead on the floor.
"Such bastards don’t deserve to exist in this world if they don’t wish to repent and make amends for what they did. If they think they can keep trampling on those beneath them, then what’s the point of even keeping them at all?"
Little Black nodded as he said, "Such jerks..."
"Stand up..." Sunnie smiled as she urged them up to their feet. "Let’s not waste time with this." She said as she looked around. "Since they’re already down, why don’t we take back what’s ours?" She smiled as she stared at them.
They stared at each other, confused, and also stared at Sunnie. They didn’t understand what she meant.
---
Sunnie led them to raid the place. They took the food remnants available—all the food these predator beastmen had acquired unjustly. They took it all from where they kept it.
When they were done raiding the place and taking the available food, they set off and made their way out of the tribe, leaving everything in shambles as they made it be.
By daybreak, the whole predator tribe was quiet and ruined to the core. Everyone there was dead, lying there lifeless. Blood was spilled in all places, painting everywhere in its grotesque touch.
The houses had fallen and were in complete destruction from explosions, and nothing was remaining. Everywhere was just in complete mess that morning.
The once lively and powerful-looking tribe was now brought to complete ruin and destruction, with all dead and everything in shambles.
No life was seen there. The women and children had already escaped at the time the fight kicked off the previous night, and the men who stayed back to fight to protect their pride were all killed—the same men who had trampled on the lower beastmen.
---
Sunnie and the rest soon arrived back at Little Black’s tribe. There weren’t many people left there at all.
Only a few sick and injured men who lay at different spots, ready to face death. Some women and children were there too—some sick, some injured. Mothers held firmly onto their cubs in the unfavorable atmosphere.
Most had escaped, but some were still here. They clearly had no means of escaping or anywhere to go. So they stayed there and simply waited for death.
Sunnie sighed at the scene as she stared at the men and instructed them, "Share the food to them. And make sure they eat to their satisfaction." She instructed as they nodded and did as she said.
