Chapter 226: A Strange Visitor
Sunnie couldn’t remember going to sleep without waking up to meet Eris’s eyes on her. She would see him sitting there at her side, staring at her with a smile.
"What is it?" Sunnie asked.
"Don’t worry, just keep sleeping. I’m just sitting around to protect you from anything coming. So don’t mind me. Okay?" He smiled.
But that only resulted in Sunnie kicking him out—literally. The next minute, they saw someone flying out of the cave, soaring through the air and landing hard on the ground on his backside.
The others, who were sitting around the fire that night, turned and stared at him sitting on the floor while massaging his waist.
Karl smiled. "For her to kick him out flying like that, I guess she really is pregnant."
Eris glared at him and snapped, "Shut up."
---
Sunnie was headed out to bathe in the morning, and Eris followed behind almost immediately. Sunnie turned. "What? Do you want to bathe me this time?"
Everyone around simply smiled while staring at the scene ahead. They guessed Eris was up with his dramas that morning again.
He smiled. "I just wanted to keep you safe. I mean, you don’t know what could be around there."
Sunnie stretched out her leg, and he immediately stepped backward. He knew Sunnie could potentially send him flying through the air again.
He smiled. "Okay, safe journey." He smiled as he turned and went back.
Sunnie smiled as she shook her head.

[Husband tamed to pamper Host.]
[Keep it up, Host.]
Sunnie smiled. Tamed to pamper—she didn’t know if she had just made a minion following her up and down instead. But she turned and left to take her bath.

When Sunnie later returned that day, she was met with an unfamiliar presence.
The sight of another male rabbit standing around in their compound with everyone gathered and staring at him, Little Black in front.
Sunnie raised her eyes as she approached this scene to see who this male rabbit was and why he was here.
He was almost the same height as Zukka. This male rabbit had a pale white body and a white furry loincloth around his waist. He had white rabbit ears sticking from his head and white hair as well. He had some bruises on his face and body as he stood before them.
Sunnie approached to observe closely and could tell he was mostly staring at Little Black, who didn’t seem happy to see him at all.
As soon as they saw Sunnie, this rabbit turned to her and went down on his knees before her. Sunnie stared at him, shocked and confused. "What’s... what’s happening?"
"Please... please help us... please help us," he kept saying while bowing to Sunnie, who was just confused.
Sunnie turned to Little Black and the rest, raising an eyebrow. "What the hell is happening here?"
But Little Black was firm with his words as he said, "You’re wasting your time. Go back. Sister Sunnie or anyone isn’t coming to your aid at all. As long as I say so, no one will. So just leave."
The rabbit got up to his feet and approached Little Black again, taking his hands in a tender manner and staring into his eyes. "You can’t do this to us... please, at least remember the kindness from us... remember that we’ve been childhood friends for a long time now... so please... help us this once." He pleaded. Anyone staring at this rabbit’s handsome, pitiful face would easily do anything he was pleading for. But Little Black wasn’t moved at all.
Even Zukka stared at this rabbit with a hostile glare. Especially when he took Little Black’s hand in a tender manner and stared into his eyes, Zukka couldn’t help but glare coldly at him. He even stepped forward and separated this young man from getting so close to Little Black.
"Speak from a distance. Don’t get close," Zukka said.
"And who are you?" The rabbit questioned Zukka.
"I’m just a friend... a very close friend," Zukka defended as the two of them stared closely at each other.
Sunnie blinked while she stared. She didn’t really understand what the hell was happening. "What the hell is happening here?" She asked them again.
The rabbit turned to Sunnie and bowed as he spoke. "Good day, I am August. I’m Cloudy’s childhood best friend from his tribe."
"Don’t call me that... my name is Little Black," Little Black snapped.
And at that moment, everyone paused and stared at Little Black. It was at that moment that they realized his real name—he actually did have a name, and it was Cloudy.
"Cloudy?" Maren repeated. "That’s a cute name."
But Little Black simply frowned while folding his arms.
August continued. "We’re from the same tribe... and we were childhood friends until... something terrible happened... and they had to leave."
"Tell them what happened. Scared?" Little Black questioned. "Tell them how you guys abandoned us and decided to send us out of our land, which led to my parents’ death!" He snapped.
Everyone was quiet at that moment, listening to the sadness he expressed. They could tell that he was in pain as he spoke, and they could imagine his past—especially Sunnie and Zukka.
August turned to him and said, "No, don’t put it like that at all. We know we were cowards and we couldn’t protect you guys and all... but please don’t put it like that."
"It’s just like that. No questions asked. So please leave," Little Black was fired up as he spoke.
But Sunnie was calm as she observed both parties. She was now curious to know what had happened. And so she turned to August and said, "Would you mind actually telling us what happened from your own side of the story?"
She turned to Little Black. "Please let him speak. Okay?"
Little Black said nothing. He had his arms folded as he looked around. And at that moment, August simply nodded.
