For a short while, silence lingered through them. The beastmen stared at Sunnie in shock; they didn’t even know how to react to the news.

"What...?" The tiger lord gasped as he staggered, struggling to stand firmly but to no avail. "What do you...?"

Sunnie smiled as she raised her chin. "It’s just as I said. So if you want to pride yourself in grabbing some trash, then congratulations. The trash is all yours—just what you deserve," she explained.

The eagle lord was pissed off on having heard this news. He furiously forced himself to attack Sunnie with his weapon.

Charging ahead toward Sunnie to take her down for tricking them in this way. The pain had gotten to him, and he could feel his chest pounding from the effects of the smoke, but he forced himself ahead, struggling to fight Sunnie down.

But even before he got closer, Zayn stepped in. He landed a hard punch over the eagle’s face and sent him staggering backward with his mouth bleeding.

As though that wasn’t enough, Zayn charged ahead and landed a harsh kick on his stomach as the eagle fell down on his back.

His men gathered him immediately, struggling to help him stand to his feet as the tiger lord glared at Zayn. His eyes were furious. "You... you useless tiger! You have the nerve to come here and think you can take us down? Where is your manners?"

But Zayn glared down at the tiger lord with a cold, unbothered look on his face. "And does it look like I care?" He demanded.

The tiger scoffed as he staggered backward. The eagle lord was now on his feet as they stood, staring at Sunnie and the rest, speechless.

They felt useless and vulnerable in their own land. They couldn’t do anything when their minds and bodies weren’t working properly because of the smoke Sunnie had used to drug them.

All they could do was stare at them.

The eagle lord raised his finger at them as he said, "You think you can do this and get away with it? Impossible! You can’t! This is not the end!"

He glared at Zayn and Karl. "You two ungrateful bastards... coming for your own tribe! How treacherous!" He snapped as he turned around and said, "We have backup! We have people we can still call to come and take you down!" He laughed as he pulled out his whistle. "One call and they’ll come and take you all down! It’s over for you all!"

He snapped as he blew the whistle, but nothing happened. He blew it again and again in the silence, but nothing happened.

Shocked, he stared up at Sunnie. "What... what’s this?" He questioned. "What’s happening?"

Sunnie smiled as she shook her head. "Give up. Nothing is happening. No one is coming. Did you really think we wouldn’t make sure to cripple your defense system from all places before we attacked? We’d be stupid if we didn’t do that."

The tribe lords gasped as they stared at her. "What did you do? What the hell did you do?" They questioned.

Sunnie smiled as she explained. Sunnie figured it was already their end, so it was best she briefly told them how it all happened.

She explained that when she came to the tribe, she wasn’t alone. She had come with all the reinforcement she needed, and they were the ones sewing all the seeds and handling all the schemes behind the scenes—like pulling tricks that would make the two parties turn against each other.

But Sunnie didn’t tell them how she had hidden her men. She only explained how they had worked for her behind the scenes to take them down.

"...I guess they really are helpful. Because they made the whole security of your tribe basically useless." She stared at them. "And they also invaded smoothly into your dear tribe to make all this possible."

The eagle tribe leader gasped as he staggered, speechless while struggling to stand firmly. He glared at Sunnie while shaking his head. "How’s that even possible? How can a useless jinxed female like you even do that? It’s not possible! You’re only but a useless female! It makes no sense!"

He couldn’t accept his fate. But Sunnie shrugged. "You can choose to ask yourself that forever. But if anything’s certain, it’s the fact that your tribe has already met its doom." She looked around with a smile. "So enjoy your great downfall."

The tiger lord clenched his fist as he said, "And how do you plan on taking us down, eh?"

Sunnie smiled as she said, "Maybe the people you’re most familiar with will handle that."

As Sunnie said that, Zayn and Karl stepped forward, standing before the lords and weakened tribe warriors.

The two lords stared at them.

"You two..." The tiger said. "How unfaithful of you to work with a female to take down your own home. You should be fighting to protect us! You should be standing by us!"

But Karl scoffed as he said, "Stand by you? Are you drunk or what? What rubbish are you talking? Why would we do that?"

The tiger glared at him. "No matter what, this is your home. You can’t betray your home!" He said furiously.

Zayn had his arms folded while staring at him. He struggled to hold back the fury building up in him. He couldn’t believe how shameless he was. He couldn’t believe him spilling this rubbish as if nothing had happened in the past.

Karl and Zayn couldn’t help but recall their traumatic past while standing there and staring at these two tribe leaders who had made life hell for them.

The people who turned everyone against them, even their own family, while making them the monster for ages. They were even more pissed and disgusted to hear the tiger speak as though nothing happened.

"How can you make such a disgusting remark after all you two have done?" He glared at them. "Have you no brains or what?"

The tiger glared at him saying, "Does it matter? We only did what was right! We were protecting our tribe from harm! So you shouldn’t even blame us at all," he scoffed.

Zayn and Karl were basically speechless. Hearing him without remorse was like adding salt to their injury. They simply stared.

The eagle lord added, "What do you want us to do? Apologize to you? And why would we apologize for doing what we should do? We were basically taking care of monsters roaming around in our land—nothing more!"

But Zayn smiled as he stared at them. He didn’t need more information to know how ungrateful and jerky these two were.

He knew that no matter what, they would never accept their fault and apologize. They would continue being jerks till the end. So he didn’t see any reason to talk with them.

"What are you going to do to us?" The tiger questioned him. "You two deserved what happened! It’s your fate! So will you kill us now? I dare you! You wouldn’t be a traitor for ages if you tried!"

But Zayn smiled as he walked up to him, staring down at the tiger lord as he said, "Then I’d gladly be a traitor. I don’t remember caring about what your silly tribe thinks about people like me anyway."

Karl raised his chin as he said, "You don’t even need to apologize for anything. We don’t need it for anything, because the moment you made us come here... that’s the moment you set yourself up for ruin. And we’re only here to make that happen."

The two of them said it with cold and firm expressions, standing there and glaring down at them. They were clearly hurting inside—Sunnie could tell.

One confronting their harsh past life would certainly feel the pain it had brought them. They would certainly relive it while staring at the people who made them suffer. And that was what Sunnie figured the two were going through.

But they had masked it with their cold and ruthless expressions. And they had decided to get back at them and make them feel what they went through.

The tiger and eagle lords stared at each other, confused, and stared at Zayn and Karl, confused.

"And what do you mean by that?" He questioned. "What do you want to do?"

Zayn casually smiled as he cracked his neck and fingers. "Well, we’ll show you how real monsters handle such a situation."

"You want monsters, right?" Karl asked with a smile. "Then sit back and see how monsters handle their enemies." He smiled.

The two lords gasped. They didn’t have a good feeling about it, and they simply staggered backward while glaring at Zayn and Karl.

But staggering backward certainly wasn’t going to help, as Zayn and Karl were bent on ending them already.

While they moved backward, Zayn and Karl moved forward with cold smirks. There was a murderous look in their eyes—brutal and murderous.

As they pulled closer, they struck in the wildest way possible.
