Chapter 49: Let me help [R18]
"Try it." Sunnie stretched out her legs close to the river and let the water wash over her feet. "It’s so refreshing," she smiled.
Azure tried it too. As the water brushed over his feet, his legs soon shimmered blue and shifted into a tail. Sunnie smiled at the scene.
"I guess you’re still too weak to handle your transformation properly," she laughed. And watching Sunnie laugh, Azure found himself smiling too.
[Affection level improved!]
[Azure: 42%]
"What do you like doing for fun?" Sunnie asked as they both enjoyed the cool water flowing over their feet and the peaceful view before them.
Azure hesitated. He had to think before speaking. "I... I like knowing things... I guess..."
Sunnie tilted her head. "That’s so vague. You’ll have to find a way to be more specific."
He bit his lower lip, saying nothing further.
Sunnie smiled softly. "Don’t worry. When we get back to our little home, we’ll find the perfect hobby for you."
She spoke casually, but Azure found himself staring at her face—at her lips—as though she were the real view worth admiring. He was curious, deeply curious. And the memory of that night lingered in his mind, refusing to fade.
Sunnie noticed his gaze from the corner of her eye and smiled.
"Azure."
"Eh?"
Their eyes met. Sunnie asked gently, "Would you like to kiss me?"
"..."
Silence. Azure was at a loss for words.
"What?"
Sunnie’s smile deepened. "Would you like to feel my lips?"
He said nothing, but his curiosity was obvious.
"Since you like learning new things," Sunnie continued, "maybe today I can teach you what kissing feels like. How lips connect... how it feels."
"That—"
Before Azure could finish, Sunnie leaned closer. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a deep kiss.
Her lips met his, soft at first, then gradually more intense. Her mouth moved against his, guiding him into something unfamiliar yet intoxicating.
Azure froze for a moment, unsure of what to do. He could feel Sunnie’s lips moving, her tongue brushing against his, sending sharp, unfamiliar sensations down his spine. It took him a while before he responded, slowly parting his lips and allowing himself to follow her lead.
Their breaths mingled. Their movements grew more fluid.
His breathing became heavier as he closed his eyes, losing himself in the sensation. Sunnie’s lips moved against his with practiced ease, and the feeling stirred something deep within him—something warm, something overwhelming.
It was the same feeling as before.
And he wanted more.
In the midst of their kiss, Azure’s tail shifted back into legs without him even noticing.
He leaned closer, pressing into the kiss with more urgency. His lips moved against hers more confidently now, his body responding instinctively. The space between them seemed to shrink as the intensity grew, their shared breaths filling the quiet night air.
He was ready to go further—to wrap his arms around her, to deepen the moment—but suddenly, a sharp pain shot through him.
They broke apart.
Sunnie looked at him with a small, knowing smile. "You’re still recovering. Let’s stop here for now. Take your time, rest... and maybe later..." She paused, her eyes glinting with mischief. "We can continue."
Azure said nothing. His breathing was uneven as he stared at her lips, clearly unsatisfied, clearly wanting more.
Sunnie watched him, amused by the flush on his face.
"Well," she said softly, "it would be a bit cruel of me to leave you like this."
She bit her lower lip and slowly lowered her hands to his lap.
Azure’s gaze followed her movement. He remained still, his breathing soft but uneven, as her hands gently moved over him.
He didn’t stop her.
He wanted this.
He simply watched, his body responding to every touch, every small movement of her hands.
Her fingers moved slowly, deliberately, until they reached their destination.
Sunnie’s hand rested against the firm outline beneath his clothing.
"You’re already so tense..." she murmured, her voice softer now. "Is that how much you want this?"
Her hand moved gently, applying just enough pressure to make Azure react. A soft sound escaped his lips.
Their eyes met again.
Sunnie smiled faintly, her fingers continuing their slow, teasing movements. "You want me to help you, don’t you?"
Azure couldn’t bring himself to respond. He only looked at her, his expression betraying everything he couldn’t say aloud.
Sunnie’s smile softened.
"Don’t worry," she whispered. "I’ll take care of it."
Her movements became more deliberate, more focused, as she guided him through the unfamiliar sensations. Azure’s breathing grew heavier, his body reacting instinctively as he let himself be carried by the moment.
He tilted his head back slightly, his eyes half-lidded as he tried to process everything he was feeling.
Sunnie watched him closely, studying every reaction, every shift in his expression.
"I wonder..." she murmured, almost teasingly, "how long you’ve been thinking about something like this."
She continued her movements, slow and steady, drawing soft reactions from him.
"Hours?" she asked.
A slightly stronger reaction.
"Days?"
His breathing hitched.
"Or longer...?"
Azure let out a shaky breath, unable to form words, his body responding more than his voice ever could.
Sunnie smiled to herself, clearly pleased with his reactions.
"Just relax," she said gently. "Let yourself feel it."
Azure nodded faintly, his body loosening as he gave in to the sensation. His mind felt hazy, his thoughts scattered, replaced by the intensity of the moment.
The quiet of the riverside seemed to amplify everything—the sound of water, the rhythm of their breathing, the closeness between them.
Azure felt completely overwhelmed.
But he didn’t want it to stop.
Not yet.
Not when everything felt like this.
His fingers curled slightly against the ground beside him as he tried to steady himself, but the sensation only grew stronger, more consuming.
Sunnie remained close, her presence steady, guiding him through it all with a calm confidence that contrasted his uncertainty.
And in that moment, Azure realized something.
This wasn’t just curiosity anymore.
It was something deeper.
Something he didn’t fully understand yet—but something he couldn’t ignore.
His breath trembled as he exhaled slowly, his body still reacting, still caught in the lingering warmth of everything he had just experienced.
And though the night remained quiet, the space between them felt charged—alive with something unspoken, something waiting to unfold further.
