Chapter 156: Little Ones
With a smile on her lips, Sunnie reached for his lap again and made an effort to remove his lower clothes.
"What are you doing...?" Luka stared down at her, his face already sweating from the pleasure he felt from her touches.
Sunnie smiled mischievously as she said, "Helping you out down there so you can calm down."
His cheeks flushed at the thought of it. But he said nothing. He sat there watching her make her way through his loincloth, getting ready to free his big man into the scene.
He watched, anticipating. A part of him was subconsciously desperate for it to happen.
"Sister Sunnie!"
And then they heard Little Black’s voice coming from outside—loud and enthusiastic. They didn’t need anyone to tell them that the others had already returned.
Immediately, the two of them stopped and covered themselves from the undressing that was already happening. Luka calmed himself down from the arousal as the rest stepped into the wooden room.
Little Black approached Sunnie. "Sister Sunnie, we didn’t get some of the herbs, but at least we got some," he explained.
Sunnie smiled. "That’s still good." She patted him on the ears. "Thanks a lot."
Luka turned to Eris. "Mr. Fox will help boil the herbs."
Eris glared at him as he quickly looked away and stared back at Sunnie, who was already smiling.
"Little rascal," Eris snapped, arms folded, as he stared at Sunnie and Luka. "So how’s the treatment going?"
Luka and Sunnie were a bit awkward but nodded with a smile. "Well," Luka said, "I’m getting better now."
Eris stared at them for a while, suspiciously. "Why are you sweating, though? Was the treatment intense or...?"
Sunnie smiled. "Well, it required some pressure since it’s not a casual injury. But at least he was strong enough to withstand it."
Luka immediately nodded. "That’s true." But Eris still had his suspicious gaze on them. He wasn’t believing that easily.
Karl asked nonetheless, "Next time, don’t make such rash decisions. You might not be so lucky."
But Luka responded, "I had to protect Sunnie, so it didn’t matter." He said as his cheeks flushed.
Karl blinked. "You little... you’re all just throwing yourselves at her now. How weak!" He snapped, arms folded with a sigh.
Little Black immediately said to Sunnie, "And did you know? They’re hosting some dumb celebration outside for the winner of the competition."
Sunnie wasn’t surprised. She expected them to hold such a celebration for the winner, especially since it was the bear tribe. Rather, she was happy about this. It gave her the opportunity to execute her plan.
Little Black also thought the same. He smiled as he said, "This gives us the opportunity to go with your plan B!"
Sunnie smiled with a nod. "Exactly." She looked up toward the door. "While they’re deep into the celebration, we should begin making preparations to take action. If possible, we’ll be leaving tonight at best."
They all nodded. They had already discussed this and planned it all out beforehand. So it didn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
Luka asked, "But... how are we supposed to find the place where they’re keeping it...?" He ran a hand through his hair.
Sunnie thought for a while as Little Black responded with a smile. "I think we might have a solution to that." He stared at him.
Little Black proceeded, "Guess who helped us find most of those herbs you asked us to get?"
Sunnie asked, "Who?"
Little Black turned to the door as he called out, "Come in!"
Sunnie and Luka stared at the entrance, curious, as they saw the little chipmunk beastmen make their way into the room. The two of them were surprised as Sunnie asked, "What’s happening...?"
Little Black explained, "They saw us looking for herbs and actually voluntarily helped us find everything we needed. They were a big help!"
Sunnie smiled at them. "Thanks a lot."
But Little Black continued, "And guess what? They’ve agreed to join our side and go with us. They accepted our offer. So by implication, they’ll be joining forces with us to act tonight. And since they know the place better, they’ll be of great help."
As Little Black announced that, Sunnie was impressed. She smiled as she stared at them. "Is that so?"
The leader of the chipmunks said nothing. He was still keeping his proud expression while the chubby one nodded.
The leader of the chipmunks then explained further. "After some thought, we finally decided to accept your offer since it seems reasonable," he tried to speak proudly.
But the chubby chipmunk smiled as he said, "Don’t believe him. He instantly decided to accept it after getting a taste of the meal you prepared for the competition."
Another laughed while explaining, "Yeah. We managed to get our hands on the leftovers of the meal you prepared—the strange one. And he fell in love with the taste immediately and agreed to go home with you and work with you."
The leader looked away, arms folded, pretending as if they were lying. He was certainly too shy to admit it, and Sunnie couldn’t help but smile.
"I’m glad you enjoyed my meal. And I’m even happier that you accepted our offer. I’m more than happy to have you on board."
The chubby chipmunk smiled as he said, "We’re happy too! We can’t wait to eat more from you."
Sunnie smiled. At that moment, she decided to make use of this connection she had gained to carry out her plan B. "And I was wondering if you guys can help us with something. I’m pretty sure that with the time spent here and your connections, you could be able to help us. So I’m kindly asking for your assistance." She expressed with a smile.
The chipmunks stared at each other. Without much hesitation, the leader cleared his throat and said, "Sure. Let us know what you’d need our help with, and we can consider it."
