Chapter 233: Explosion.
These men instantly staggered backwards in shock. They couldn’t believe their eyes at all. This wasn’t a female from their tribe, and they were certain of it at that moment.
"A rabbit?! We don’t have such from our tribes at all! It must be from that stupid tribe we ruined!"
"And is it just me, or does she look like that jinxed rabbit? The one who brings destruction to the people around here?"
They took a closer look and couldn’t help but nod in agreement at the observation.
"But what’s she doing here? How did she get here? For how long has she been in here?" one demanded, speechless.
But Sunnie smiled as she said, "I don’t think that matters now. So don’t worry about it. Worry more about how you’re going to repent in the afterlife for all the trashy things you’ve done."
They stared at each other and then at her. "What rubbish are you talking about now?"
The tribe leader stood there as he instantly commanded without a second thought, "And what are you even waiting for? Take that female down now! I don’t care who she is, I want her down!" The lion demanded.
Immediately, these beastmen slowly approached with their weapons to strike. But suddenly, they heard some of their men falling down and squeaking in pain from behind.
They all turned around almost immediately to see what was happening from behind—only to see Sunnie’s beast husbands out of disguise and taking them down from behind.
They had effortlessly used their weapons and cut the necks of the predator beastmen around them. Ten of them were bleeding and now on the floor, struggling to stay alive.
Shocked, the others staggered backward, staring at Sunnie and now at her husbands in disbelief.
"What... what’s happening here?" one asked. "Aren’t these the wild beastmen who were exiled? How are they here?"
"Same thought... what’s happening? Who let them in? How did they manage to get in here?"
They all held their weapons firmly to strike in case of anything.
But Sunnie’s beast husbands smiled while staring at them as Eris said, "You shouldn’t worry about that. I think you should worry more about yourselves. Don’t you think so?"
"You..." The tribe leader glared at them. "I don’t care how you all got here. And I don’t want to know! But I want you all dead right now!" He demanded as he turned to his men. "Take them all down now!"
There were a lot of them around, so attacking them might be a heavy loss for Sunnie and her husbands. But they already had another plan set out.
So as these men pulled closer for an attack, Sunnie and her beast husbands pulled back as if they were running away from them.
And while they pulled back, they saved themselves from the impending explosive attack that was coming.
Because at that moment, some explosives erupted and blew up a good number of these beastmen. It was a huge explosion that even Sunnie’s beast husbands had to protect her from its rays. But they had moved further from it, so it didn’t affect them.
Rather, it took down a good number of the predator beastmen who were close to it, bleeding them down as they struggled to get up to their feet.
Zukka, Little Black, and the rest were at work. This was part of what they had secretly imported in, and they had mounted it in different places to make sure that they could take them down from any spot they wanted.
This was just the first wave of the attack.
The predator beastmen who were not affected slowly staggered to their feet as they looked around. Their men were already dispersing and running randomly around to hide themselves from the unknown attack.
Sunnie and her husbands stared at them with a smile.
"You..." The tribe leader coughed, recovering from the smoke. "What are you guys up to?"
Sunnie smiled. "Isn’t it obvious? This is what you get for messing with low-level tribes. Don’t you think so?" She smiled with her arms folded.
"You... and how’s that any of your business? Huh? It’s not like we attacked you on your dumb evil forest! Why are you people even here?"
"It’s my business," Little Black said as he came to stand beside Sunnie along with Zukka. They all stared in the direction of these predator beastmen.
"And who are you...?"
"You don’t need to know specifically. But you should know that this will serve as punishment for all you’ve done. For harming my people and for causing my parents’ death... at least that is all you need to know. This is revenge." Little Black spoke with such bitterness.
But the tribe leader laughed as he said, "And do you think you can destroy us like that? Do we look that easy to you? We are predators! We have more power and dominance! And we have had more power for ages! You all are just minions! You are prey, so you can never take down your masters! Okay?!" He laughed.
But Sunnie smiled as she said, "Is that so? Well, I guess we’ll see about that tonight."
The tribe leader scoffed as he turned to his side. "What are you waiting for? Take down these brats! Make sure you kill each and every one of them! I don’t want to see their faces!"
He ordered as his men flooded toward them in attack.
Sunnie and the rest took their positions while they stared at these men attacking with their weapons, furious and ready to end them all.
Eris held Sunnie by the hand and stared at her. "Hey... are you sure about this? You’re pregnant. Can you handle it?"
Sunnie smiled as she said, "Don’t worry about me. I can handle it best when I’m pregnant."
Sunnie smiled as she turned and stared at Little Black. "And you? Are you sure you can?"
Little Black nodded. "Yes," he assured.
Zukka added, "Don’t worry, I’ll protect him."
