The atmosphere was already chaotic. Sunnie and her beast husbands were busy with their attention on the boar tribe leader, who was throwing insults at them in fury.

They were too occupied to notice the bear tribe leader picking up a sharp-edged stick to attack Sunnie. When Sunnie turned to notice something coming at her, it was already too late to dodge.

She could only raise her arms and bend in an attempt to protect herself, but luckily, the stick never hit her.

Luka was the only one alert. When he saw the attack, he immediately stepped forward and raised his hand. Luka used his hand to shield the stick. It smashed against his arm, leaving a deep cut that began bleeding as he knocked the stick out of the tribe leader’s hand.

The atmosphere went calm. Everyone turned to witness what had just happened. Sunnie stood there, shocked and unharmed. Luka stood there, his arm bleeding, his cold eyes fixed on the tribe leader. The bear tribe leader stood there, glaring furiously at Luka.

No one spoke for a few seconds; they were still trying to digest what had just happened. While they were processing, Luka, who was glaring furiously at the tribe leader, landed a harsh punch on his face.

Everyone gasped in shock, watching the tribe leader stagger backward from the punch. But Luka didn’t stop. He approached and landed two more punches on his face. His face was filled with rage—a burning rage.

The tribe leader almost fell, but his members caught him. His face was bruised and bleeding from the harsh punches as he stared at Luka in immense pain. "You psychopath! What the hell do you think you’re doing?"

This was the first time Sunnie had seen Luka like this. His eyes were cold and murderous; she wouldn’t be surprised if he killed someone right then. His fists were clenched and covered in blood. She was speechless at the sudden change in Luka.

Luka glared at him as he said, "How dare you try to harm her? Do you want to die?"

The tribe leader was speechless. Fear ran through his veins as he stared at the unfamiliar face of Luka—one he found scary. "You...! You good-for-nothing! You bastard! How dare you lay a hand on me!"

The tribe leader staggered to his feet as he snapped at Luka. "You! It’s like you’ve forgotten where you came from! It’s like you’ve forgotten your embarrassing origin! Huh? Let me remind you then!"

"You lowly monster! You bastard who killed his parents! You evil beastman who is cursed! Don’t you even know yourself? You’re lucky to even be here, but now you think you’re something, huh?"

He walked up to Luka to snap at him more. "How dare you raise a hand at me! Don’t you know your pathetic origin? You monster!"

But Luka landed another harsh punch on his face, making him stagger backward.

"I’m none of that," Luka said finally.

"You!" The tribe leader turned and glared at him, speechless.

"All the trash you spill, I’m none of that. And you can’t use any of that against me," Luka spoke calmly, but one could see the fury in his eyes.

Those were the eyes of someone who had had enough.

The tribe leader was scared by those eyes, but he struggled to speak. "You think you can escape your identity? You all are monsters! You are a monster! You killed your parents at a young age! They died because of you!"

But immediately, Luka said, "You can’t use that card forever. Because I already know that you were the ones behind it." He approached. "I saw everything. You were the bastard who killed my parents back then."

Shock and silence filled the atmosphere. Everyone stared in immense shock, especially at the revelation. Sunnie was short of words. She knew the pain Luka was probably going through at that moment, and this revelation from him literally made her gasp.

"What rubbish are you talking about...?" The tribe leader stammered, trying to deny everything.

"Everyone in that tribe might not know what you did, but I know. I saw it all. It was your way of trying to make sure you frame me into the monster you want me to be seen as. I know. I was quiet, trying to cut you some slack, but it seems you don’t want that peace." Luka spoke with his eyes red and veins popping.

The tribe leader staggered backward, fear written all over his face. "No... Shut up... no..."

But Luka confidently spoke. "Monster? A cursed beastman? You can have any word you want for it, but none of that applies to me. Because from all indications, that should be you."

"A shameless leader like you who steals people’s hard work and makes it yours. You must feel proud of that win, huh?"

"And also bribing your way to win when your meal doesn’t even come close to hers. All that I can endure, but try to lay a hand on her, and you’ll genuinely die before you can even step a foot out of this place."

The tribe leader was speechless. Fear ran through his veins as he stared at Luka. It was fun talking down on Luka and bullying him when he was submissive. He never thought Luka could ever speak back. And now he had.

The tribe leader stepped backward so quickly that he missed his step and fell down, his backside meeting the hard, rocky floor. His members tried helping him up, but he fell again.

Luka had his murderous eyes on him. "Next time, don’t even think of harming her. This will be the first and last warning if you want to live." He said in a cold, ruthless tone as he turned to stare at Sunnie.

Luka immediately took Sunnie’s hand and began checking her. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did that scare you?"

But Sunnie stared at Luka’s hand. He was the one who was hurt and bleeding, and here he was caring about her.

She instantly grabbed him by the other hand. "Let’s go get you treated."

"No, I’m fine... I just..." He tried to say.

"No excuses. Let’s go." Sunnie insisted as she pulled him by the hand and dragged him away. The others followed behind, leaving the atmosphere in complete and awkward silence.
