Gan Wenlun wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Thanks, senior."

Li Pu expressed his gratitude, but at the same time he was very confused.

Because the No.2 that had just completed its 4th evolution didn’t look any different on the outside at all.

At max level after the 4th evolution, under the effect of [Void Stance] No.2’s power value was already close to ten thousand, which was pretty outrageous.

A new innate ability had been added.

[Armor Field]: Greatly increases the toughness of the chassis

Gan Wenlun had explained this innate ability to him: it not only boosts the hardness of the plate armor, it also provides a reactive force field.

When taking a hit, it can reduce the impact via a counteracting force, and it’s effective against both physical and energy attacks.

But for attribute effects like lightning or extreme heat burns, it doesn’t offer much extra protection.

Just like Li Pu had guessed, it must have reached 100% recovery.

The question was, why hadn’t No.2’s appearance changed at all? That really puzzled him.

So he asked No.2 about it.

Instead, its Turbo thrusters flipped out and pointed straight down, slowly pushing it up into the air.

For the record, before the 4th evolution this thing totally didn’t exist.

Could that be the interface between No.2’s head Mecha and a body Mecha?

Summoned beasts that have summoning abilities are actually pretty common.

The bro-tree and straw-man types that summon little minions are just one category.

Some can summon weapons, others armor, others vehicles.

So could No.2 be the kind that can summon a whole body?

Even if it’s time-limited, that’s still fine. Having one versus not having one are two completely different worlds.

As long as it looks cool, that’s what really matters.

No.2 was hovering at a low altitude, so Li Pu could hear the bearings and gears turning inside its body.

That armored hatch was slowly rotating open.

Right now Li Pu had only one wish in his heart: please don’t rotate out some kind of USB plug or data port.

If he still had to go find No.2 a matching body unit himself, that would be way too brutal.
