"I've been waiting for you, Jared Murphy. Happy engagement first. I wasn't expecting Olivier from the Duke of Alway."

In the clerk's office, Kirshi Santara welcomed the Jareds as they rocked their purple hair. Except with a teasing smile.

"For once, thank you, I'll say. I mean, you even know the teacher."

"Of course I did. Rumors inside the Royal School that noble children attend are faster than you might imagine. Even teachers have nobility. Teachers can't beat students if they're communicative."

Give me a break.

When I asked Kirshi's words inside the staff room, the majority of the teachers had their eyes set on this one. The teacher I found out had the same teasing grin as Kirsi, but the teacher, usually without interaction, panicked and turned a blind eye.

"But no way, I didn't think you liked being older. If you'd told me, I'd always have married you."

"I won't. No, I don't like being older!

"Oh, no? Speaking of Olivier, I think he was my age..."

"I don't like it when I marry my teacher because I get caught up in magic experiments every day."

"It's terrible."

Kirsi deepens her grin without seeing how shocked she was. She was a magician, a teacher but also a researcher.

Kirsi, with her purple hair cut around her shoulders and silver-edged glasses, is a beautiful woman at first glance, but because of lack of sleep, she creates a neighborhood in her eyes and feels slightly sorry because of the good white coat woven from the top of her clothes.

Laboratories have been given to her personally by the school because of her competence as a researcher, but she was a vigilant teacher to frequently use students as laboratory benches.

Jared seems interesting to Kirshi, and is considered an observation object, a research object.

It was a relationship that I've had several terrible eyes since I got involved, but I can't hate these light mouths either because they're hard to hate.

"Dr. Kirsch, I'm hearing that Murphy has more customers from the sorcerers' association than that?

"Uh, speaking of which, you did. It's coming. Jared, you're in trouble too."

"You know that, too."

"Absolutely. I'm not a good magician like you, but I'm not a fighter, I'm a researcher and an explorer. On the other hand, I'm rated as much as you are, no, more than that. Thanks to that, he comes in even if he hasn't asked for information. Well, I'm asking you to actively give me information about you."

Jared pulled his cheeks against Kirshi, who smiled at him with a garlic.

It's unclear what makes me interested in her, but Kirshi's thoughts and actions are unpredictable and unimaginable because she's moving in a different dimension, so it's impossible to deal with them.

It's even worse for the heart because of its behavior. She is too faithful to her own interests, curiosities and desires.

"I'd like to talk more with you, but it's time to let you go because if I keep you waiting for the sorcerer's association people, you'll be scolded by other teachers. Guests are in the reception room."

"Thank you. Well, excuse me."

"Oh, yeah, Jared Murphy."

Called down, stopping the leg that tried to move out.

"As I was saying, I could be in the side room, so I'm waiting for you to get ready and pick me up."

"Let Usurumi consider it"

"I'm not being honest."

I don't know if you're serious or not, but it only conveys that Kirshi enjoys the conversation. Jared also enjoyed his conversation with her without any other love.

"See you later, Jared."

Wave back to Kirshi, who waves small. Next door Krista bowed her head small, but looked grumpy somewhere.

"What's going on?

"I don't care! Come on, let's go! Okay, Dr. Kirsi, excuse me!

"Yes, yes, excuse me"

Turning their backs on Kirishi, who moved the pen by shifting their gaze to the paperwork as they replied, Jared and the others head to the reception room.

The reception room adjacent to the staff room can be accessed from the hallway or from the staff room side.

Speak to the teacher who was nearby and knock on the door on the staff room side.

"I'm Jared Murphy. May I come in?

"I've been waiting for you, go ahead"

"Excuse me."

I get a reply, and when I open the door, I give a thank you and knock on the door.

"Murphy. I can't come in with you, so I'm going back to class. Talk to me later."

I quietly closed the door to the reception room, nodding at Krista.

Inside the reception room was a man in a suit, standing in front of a couch for two. I don't get the impression that I'm much of a mage from a man who's nicely dressed up, but I'm pretty sure he's more of a mage than a person belonging to the Mages Association. For example, it would be either a powerful man who can hide his strength, or only have a degree of magic that he doesn't even have to hide.

A man smiles at Jared.

"I am Dennis Beckman, a member of the Association of Mages. Thank you very much for taking this opportunity to become a candidate for court magician. Come on, have a seat."

"Excuse me."

When Dennis recommends me and I sit back on the couch, he sits down following Jared.

Dennis was in his mid-thirties with an unpleasant soft grin. He has short, brown hair aligned and wears a badge on his collar, which is proof of association members.

"The work and strength of Jared Murphy has long been a topic of discussion within the Mage's Association. Baron Daum responded positively this time, and I am grateful for your disrespect. I thought it would be faster this time. Just now, Murphy, do you know how you choose a court magician?

Asked, he shook his head to the side.

"I know I need a recommendation from the Sorcerer's Association, or a recommendation from a court sorcerer, but I don't know the details"

"No, that's normal. I've never chosen a court magician before, but I've never had a decision like this."

"No decision?

"Yes. No. The only powerful person who can become a court magician is a court magician. For example, Murphy's mother, Liz Murphy, was also a magician feared to be a thousand strong men on the battlefield and even a 'God of Destruction'. In that case, I could only be a court magician, who had too much merit and was a national possession."

"God of Destruction?

I never dreamed my mother would have been called that, and I would listen back.

Jared's mother, Liz Murphy, has died in her childhood. The cause of death is poisoning. That's all I know. I don't know who did it, why, or how my mother, who was a court magician, died lightly.

My mother was not there when I was tempted, and at home I was forbidden to talk about my mother. A side room that was close to my mother talked to me, but the side room didn't know everything about my mother either.

Even after I started taking care of my grandparents, I couldn't ask and only a few memories were my mother's memories.

"As a user of local attribute magic, the enemy and allies alike are eliminated on the battlefield, crushing the ground and shredding the mountains is just as rough as a god. There were times when I saw it when I was younger too, but unfortunately I fainted."

Though I seem to miss it, I put Dennis in front of me trembling in small pieces.

- How horrible was my mother?

That raises such questions.

I only have gentle and serene memories, so it was like they were listening to someone else.

"Liz Murphy is an extreme example, but those who possess the strength to be court magicians have given themselves a position, a position and a desire for the country because of their unsatisfactory strength."

"Um, I'm not that out of standard, so I don't think I can be a court magician?

"What are you talking about!

Wow, he opened his eyes and Dennis shouted out loud.

"You are only sixteen years old, and the other day you were single and devastated a flock of flying dragons. Do you realize, it's usually a level where more than a hundred Knights are dispatched! Besides, we fought the Sea Devil before that, and that Sea Devil didn't even have to be a Disaster Designation Class, but it wasn't an exaggeration to do damage!

"Yay, I didn't mean to do much..."

"In the first place, it is no longer standard at the point of being a earth attribute magician of composite attributes. Be aware that you have non-standard talents and strengths and that they are still developing!

To Dennis, who turns bright red and spits, Jared could only be surprised.
