The candidate for court magician and the murderer who attacked the court magician told the former court magician, half surprised, half convinced.
Jared had always expected that a person who could have the strength to kill a candidate for court magician would have the corresponding power. No matter how many swords you poke at, it's never easy to kill a chosen candidate for court magician because he has more than a certain amount of strength.
